Awful customer owns it and he seems to only care about money. I went there yesterday to make an exchange only and I even had by receipt. He was very rude and arrogant. He first asked he can’t do an exchange with a receipt so after giving it to him, he keep making up lies about the store policies. But nothing was displayed in the store or the receipt about exchanges. I asked him where in the store are the policies stated and of he couldn’t tell me where because there there. So I had to remind him that all policies need to be in a place so customers will see it. Long story short, he would do the exchange and bragged about how many customers he has and it didn’t matter. I was a very loyal customer and he knew that but yesterday he was acting brand knew. In my opinion it seems like all he cares is money. No customer service at all. His customers are about 99% Black. He doesn’t care about his black customers and just there to make money off of them. Just like in Chris Rocks documentary Good Hair. I don’t recommend that store at all. There’s other beauty shops with the same products maybe even cheaper who have great CS. Save yourself the frustration and do not shop there.

This place is easily my favorite beauty supply store. They always have exactly what I need in the sizes I need. The owner always answers the questions you have and offers suggestion. The customer service is absolutely great. The prices are reasonable and the selection is vast. I will always come back here.

Came in here having no idea on were to look for the hair i needed but the dude working here helped me out an knew what i was asking for. .thanks deff will b back an also b spreading the word out!

I found this place while looking for clip in extensions. After on unsuccessful attempt at ordering them online I had an idea of what I wanted. I’d read reviews online and a lot of people mentioned the customer service. The shopping center itself looks a bit rundown but don’t let that discourage you! Once inside there were two guys working behind the counter. I asked about clip ins and the first employee immediately said yes and pulled some from the wall. They had a few different options in different lengths. They were patient as I opened the different packs and examined the hair. Overall very fast and friendly experience. They had a lot of products but I was in a bit of a hurry so I didn’t much of a chance to shop around. I would definitely return!

beauty supply stores like this are so hard to come by these days! they have a HUGE selection of hair and a ton of cute things on the side like lashes and hoops. totally worth the drive and GREAT customer service!

i love this place! yes, i have to drive a little far to get there, i will still go. sometimes the parking sucks but everyone there is always super helpful and if they dont have what you need, they will tell you where to get it.

It has the essentials but I have gone and left disappointed a few times. All in all its a decent beauty supply store with nice staff members.

They have mostly everything you’d look for at a beauty supply store. Because it so hard to find a good supply store in my area (Hollywood), this will be my go to store. The pricing was reasonable and the staff was helpful. They even let me exchange some stuff which most beauty supply stores won’t let you do.

Very helpful staff, reasonable prices and a small parking lot in front. I have been trying to find a hair place close enough to the west side that is not ridiculously marked up in price and I think this is it.
It is pretty packed on the inside (aren’t all beauty supply stores?) but they have a good variety of products, hair and accessories. Definitely worth the trip to mid-​city.

I absolutely love this place; especially the owner Kent. I have buying products from
Kent for about 9 – 10 years. He’s always kind, interested in my needs and hires cool young people to assist you in looking for what it is you need. What I especially like about Kent is:
. He almost always gives me samples of conditioners and shampoos
. He allows me to use his restroom without giving me the side eye or watching me
. He hires minorities and those from the community.
I went in the other day and he has a gorgeous black man working there, who is equally kind and professional. Kent provides a service and great products for women of color. I appreciate his business and am glad he’s there. Fee King

Whenever I go here I am treated with respect. The service is amazing. The owner is very knowledgeable and knows everything he has in the store inventory. Parking can be a challenge sometimes but the prices and customer service make it be worth waiting for a spot.

If you are looking to get your hair braided this place is truly a godsend. They are the ONLY ppl in LA and the valleys (SGV and SFV) that sells Femi Marley Braiding hair. The only way to get this specific textured braiding hair is online.
Not only do they have Femi but they have the 24″ hair for long kinky twists. Most places only carry the shorter hair. This is great for the super cute long kinky twist. If you don’t know what that is then Google it.
The hair is reasonably priced and since they carry Sooooooo many brands you are bound to find something in your price range.
The best part is the owners knowledge. I’m telling you this Asian man knew so much about hair and braiding techniques that it was surprising. He really knew what he was talking about and gave some solid advice.
Highly recommend!!!

The store is ok. My only problem is that EVERY time I shop here I’m ALWAYS followed. First off I have no desire to steal a damn thing. Second, every time I come in here I buy something.

Sorry guys. When I ask you what time you close tonight and you say 7 pm, I can’t rate you higher when you are locking the doors at 646 pm. As you are laughing and telling me come back tomorrow, you just lost a customer. To the girl who said, «he he sorry it’s Thanksgiving.» NO bitch, thanksgiving was two days ago, if you want to close up on a whim then say by appointment only. Newsflash, stores are staying open later now that Thanksgiving has passed. I drove from Santa Monica twice today to come to the store probably about 8 miles or more. I will be researching new places to go closer to home or in another direction. Nothing special, weave is weave. Go to any black neighborhood and you’ll find one on every other block. hehe back at you: D

Worse place ever I called on the phone to get braiding hair just to braid my hair in a beehive and they told me for human braiding hair it’s 29 $ which is still pricey but whatever I get here and there telling me it’s $ 60!!! For braiding hair? What a load of crap! And it’s in shady area won’t ever come again! Oh and store is dirty and filthy you want quality hair and bang for your buck drive 5min up to the hair shop

I buy my synthetic hair here and they have so many good colors to choose from. Good prices too!
