Needed to exchange a hair dryer that had a small factory defect. Harry, the sales clerk, was super helpful and replaced my item with a brand new one with zero hassle, no questions asked. Thanks Harry! I really appreciate it! Did you know: Stevie Wonder has been to this shop? Legendary.

My favorite beauty supply. Ive shopped here for more than a decade. I try and buy all my hair products and some beauty supplies here. Feels good to shop from this friendly family owned small business. It seems like it may be the only black hair supply that is actually black owned in all of Los Angeles. They usually have all the basics plus extra goodies. They will special order items you request also. Theres also a salon in the back and they cut mens hair too if you need a black barber.

My favorite and black owned business beauty supply. The owner is a sweetheart and always have what want especially some items I can’t find anywhere else. This is probably the best black beauty supply to go to if your on the Westside or Valley. Please support this business as there are very few such as this one.

I love Trina’s! My mother loves Trina’s! My mother’s mother loved Trina’s! When I lived Mid-City, it consumed enough of my cash for me to considering writing my hair off on my taxes. Now, I do most of my natural hair-care shopping online, but if I need something ASAP, I don’t waste time with any other place!

Small store — but they have a lot of products jammed up in there. Mostly stuff for black hair. Black owned and the owner is usually there to help you. They still sell the Black N Gold hair for braiding which is now pretty hard to find on this side of town. Check them out!

This is a great black owned buisness that has a semi median selection of ethnic hair care products. The prices are about the same everywhere so its not like your going to save any money here. Im just glad to have found a black owned buisness not too far away from where i live. I forgot the name of the street but its on Pico and something else. Its located in the Osk, Ralphs shopping center. There’s also a Metro Pcs center and a wig shop in their as well. Several places to eat in the area and i found it to be a very relaxed environment. Ill be a returning customer for life!

Trina’s seems to have quite a collection of useful items. I found some nice combs and hair oil.

Not exactly what they intended this store for, but this is great place to get a hair piece for Irish dance! I found wonderful curly, red haired falls here that held wonderfully. Their pricing was much more reasonable than to get them from someone specializing in what I wanted it for.

I can look out my window and see Trina’s. I used to have my hair done at the salon once upon a time. I visit Trina’s Beauty Supply whenever I can. Trina’s stocks ethnic hair and skin care products, aimed primarily at Afro-Americans or Latinos. Really, anyone with dense curls(course, fine or fragile) could benefit from these products. Read the ingredients though. Too many of these products still contain ultra slick mineral oil or petroleum. A little goes a long way. You won’t find any L’Oreal or Maybelline at Trina’s. I notice cosmetics like Black Opal, Jordana and La Femme. La Femme features highly pigmented eye shadows and blush for cheap. It’s perfect for your kit if you do makeup professionally. You’ll find Ambi and Queen Helene skin care, and even the odd Neutrogena complexion bar. There are many products geared toward fading scars and hyper-pigmentation, common in darker skins. The staff range between friendly and flirty. ***Hairstylists or makeup artists: You can get professional discount with ID(or even your MACPPID!). ***Trina’s sells 99% alcohol, perfect for sanitizing your kit!
