So I found a rubber band in my Pad See Ew. EWWW Which makes me think they do not wash their cilantro(where else could it be from). Wanted a refund but such a hassle to walk back to trucks.

This food truck is always on grand ave in DTLA, a couple of blocks from my work I finally decided to try it last week. I had the garlic shrimp and I enjoyed it a lot even though I let it sit for an hour before eating it. I started playing ping pong after I took it back to work so I was distracted. The shrunk were very fresh and garlicky. Even the vegetables are fresh as well.

Why doesn’t the truck specify when the truck would be open? I’ve literally witnessed ten people pass by your truck without having been engaged in the past twenty minutes. Bye customers

I like thai food as much as the next gal, but there is a lack of care and taste value in the food it creates. Tuesday around 1:40 pm, I may have been one of the stragglers from the lunch crew but there are no excuses for subpar food that is over-seasoned. Contrary to what other Unilocalers noted, portions were small, it was less than half filled compared to what others posted. EXTREMELYSPICEY, most thai places will ask what level of spice I want, here, no questions, they just make it as they see fit. No chopsticks and no to go bags, I didn’t even so much get a napkin… I might as well cook my own dish for $ 10! Will never return!

I love Tuesdays and Fridays! Why? Because the Arroy Food Truck is walking distance from the office, score! My family is Thai so you can imagine how much Thai food I’ve consumed in the 20+ years I’ve been on Earth. I like to think my Thai food tastebuds are on point and it’s hard for me to find a Thai spot I love. Here comes Arroy. one of my top 5 favorite places to get Thai. The flavors are truly genuine to what you can get in Thailand, it’s fast, and affordable. My go-to dish is anything pork belly. You can get it over rice with fried egg or get it as a slider. Both are DELICIOUS. It’s because the pork belly is cooked correctly. It’s not too hard and not too soggy so you get this perfect crispy crunch with every single bite. I’m drooling just thinking about it. But guess what? Today is Tuesday! Take a guess at what I’m getting for lunch today :)

Just visited Arroy. What a treat for our taste buds. I had fried shrimp-pork wonton. It was yummy. The skin was crispy and the filling was juicy and tasty. The sauce that came with it was so good that I just wanted to drink it straight. My other party had the pork belly slider and let me have a bite of that. All I can say is: amazingly amazing! You sure are Arro-y-licious! Good price. Good food. Good vibe.

If you’re in the mood for something with a southeast Asian flavor this is the food truck to hit up. I’ve heard a lot of great things about them but since I don’t normally hit up the food truck scene I never had an opportunity to try them. I finally got a chance to try them today when they made an unexpected stop in my neighborhood at Confection Co Op during lunch. I ordered the two slider, fries and beverage combo. The sliders I selected were, the highly touted pork belly slider, which totally lives up to the hype, and the chicken satay slider which was very tasty. Being an In N Out«well done» fries kind of guy, I appreciated how crispy the fries were from the get go. To cap it off, for my drink I got the Thai ice tea which ended up giving me a perfect caffeine buzz to keep me sharp for the remaining work day and offset the food coma that would have hit me because it was a lot more food than I usually eat for lunch. All in all, the meal was delicious and the portions were just as good as any sit down restaurant esp for the price of $ 12 + tip, of course. Highly recommended!

Had a large group of people to feed on a production set. Contacted Arroy Truck for a last minute request and they came in and just rocked it! Food was super good, super fresh and they made everyone on the production staff(90+ people) very happy. Easy communication online, payment, etc. Thank you Arroy staff!

Fantastic aroma and flavor, well worth $ 9 – 10 as you can probably get two meals out of each entrée!

Stumbled upon these guys on Grand Ave yesterday. Had the Chicken Pad Thai and honestly it was the best Pad Thai I’ve ever had. Solid portion size, just the right amount of spices. It was perfection. Planning on taking a trip out to LACMA to venture further through their menu. Keep up the great work!

Food 2 Price 3.5 Tried them at the ktown night market/OC block party last night, got the pork belly slider, beef brisket slider, and Thai ice tea. Let’s just say *wah wahh* disappointment. Brisket was overpowered by the slaw and dressing, way too salty. Maybe the person making it had a brain fart and accidentally dumped too much seasoning, because there would be sporadic bites of overwhelming saltiness. Not pleasant nor impressed! Pork belly was more like a pulled pork, I couldn’t find any belly meat only lean pulled pork. The food tasted fine and I’d be okay with it if it’s labeled correctly, this is false advertisement. Lastly there were no aguas fresca or chicken curry on the menu. Got me wondering, got pork belly? got fat? got rice, bitch? got rice? got food, got soup, got spice? got brains like us? got skills like us? No bueno if I have to bust out angry azn rhymes.

Sweet & spicy sliders + garlic tots = one happy girl You have to stop at Arroy Food Truck, which is often in front of the LACMA during lunchtime M-F. Your taste buds will thank you later, but be prepared for a wait.

This is one of those moments where I’m highly tempted to give something a higher review because it seems like everyone enjoys it so much, but i’ll be honest — Arroy was just OK for me. Maybe it’s because I didn’t get the sliders. I got the chicken skewers for $ 6. It comes with three skewers and a scoop of cole slaw. Yeah, it’s a food truck, but I expected a little bit more, especially for something that was under a list called«specials» — unless I read wrong — possibly, it was late. The chicken was nothing special, to be honest, and I didn’t even touch the coleslaw, because it wasn’t something I was expecting(or wanted) to get with my order anyway. The thai iced tea was positive, though I wish they’d add boba. That being said, all my friends LOVED the sliders and fries they got — $ 12 for two sliders, fries and a thai ice tea! So I guess I’ll probably end up giving this a second try the next time around. Chicken skewers are deffff not worth it, though.

OH yea and their fries are THEBEST! PERFECTLYCRISPY! I finally tried them on my last visit and it was soo good and went great with my slider. They also have a mango drink out right now which is really refreshing. Overall still very satisfied with the service and food this truck provides!

I kid you not — one of the BEST foods I have ever had. All these 5 star reviews are correct. Eat here and you will NOT be disappointed. The staff are incredibly friendly. The man saw me struggling to hold the food I ordered and immediately took it back from me to package it all up to make it easier for me to hold. Genuine concern and want to help :) Prices are incredibly affordable. I spent only $ 8 on my lunch, which consisted of one beef brisket slider and a thai tea. Many food trucks tend to be overpriced, but the prices here are great. $ 8 for two sliders, drinks are $ 3. Seriously though, my coworker and I took one bite into our beef brisket sliders and we MELTED. The flavors are absolutely incredible, the beef brisket cooked perfectly. I absolutely love the slaw, too, the flavors are so good. I recommend the beef brisket sliders! You know how on your Unilocal profile you can write what your«last meal on Earth» would be? I never had an answer for that. Now my answer is a beef brisket slider from Arroy.
