One of the many Mexican joints inside Grand Central Market. They charge a fee for credit card. Service is decent and fast. Tacos — $ 3.50 — Might see expensive but they are huge just like the other places at Grand Central. I usually order 2 tacos and split the meat for each. Then I scoop one of the meats on the extra tortilla they give. It lets you try the different meats. So basically 4 big tacos for 7 bucks, not bad. I tried asada, pollo, lengua, and desebrada. All were pretty tasty and seasoned perfectly. I got them with onion and cilantro. I needed more sauce though, I should have asked for some on the side before I left. The side chili peppers are firebombs. I drank cups of water with each bite.

Nom! Droll… Ana Maria’s located inside the Central Market in downtown. Taco cost $ 3.50 with two extra tortillas and a grilled Mexican pepper. With one taco, you can make three tacos! It’s like $ 1.17 per taco. What a deal! It’s cheaper than a Big Mac, lol! So big! I thought I wouldn’t be able to finish it, but it did! It was too good to throw away. They have their own style and taste. I will definitely stop by again if I’m in the area.

Good quality food, fast service, good options. They prefer cash but take cards with a .50 cent charge. Their food is hot and decent quantity!

Chile Relleno is my favorite Mexican dish so I got an order to go. Was definitely not one of the better ones I’ve had. I will say that Chile Relleno might not be the best dish to get from a taco stand to go. It probably doesn’t translate well. It was pretty soggy. The women working were incredibly friendly though. They saw me eyeing the pork snout and gave me a piece to try. I have tried a ton of exotic foods, but surprisingly had not tried pork snout before. I was a little nervous, but it was super tasty!!! I thought it would take almost cartilage or something of that consistency, but it was almost like that of a nice piece of pork.

Still my favorite Mexican spot to eat at in grand central! Although the carnitas are better at Morelia’s. This place still tops them all! I’ve had the tacos, burritos & quesadillas and they’re all delicious! The salsas are spicy yet tasty & pair well with all food. Today I tried the AL pastor quesadilla & carnitas quesadilla & let me tell you both delicious but I did enjoy the pastor quesadilla better. Must try!

Great taco stand. Taco’s seem pricey at $ 3.50, but the amount of food they give makes it quite a bargain. Easily make two or three tacos out of the meat portion. Carnitas had great flavor with nice bits of fat. Oh I love those juicy morsels. Shredded beef also had great flavor. Quesadilla was flavorful and filling. A must try. Instead of trying to find a table in the maze that is Grand Central Market, just eat at the counter and enjoy watching the food being made. Will be back…

Grand Central Market provides you with a BUNCH of options: from the super hyped up Eggslut to humble China Café. My friends and I have a wide variety of tastes, some like Mexican food, some really really hate it(I still think that friend just hasn’t had good Mexican food). This variety of tastes is certainly satisfied by Grand Central Market. Ana Maria certainly satisfied my needs. I was immediately attracted by the variety of meats, breads, and tortilla displayed at the glass counter – that was some pretty good advertising. I immediately was torn between the gordita and the tortas. But once I saw that they fry the flautas on the spot, I was set. I had the al pastor flautas with beans and rice – ended up being $ 9. If you’re hungry, I definitely suggest getting the rice and beans. The flautas are like a larger taquitos – it’s deep fried tortilla stuffed with MEAT. You get 3 flautas topped with a LOAD of chopped lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and powdered cheese. The flautas were nice and piping hot – truly a function of the fried-to-order business they run. They were super crunchy and a bit dry – but the lettuce and tomatoes really helped balance that. The rice was normal and the beans were a bit watery – but they were well needed to keep with with a full stomach. Bottom Line: It was pretty decent and fills you up. $ 9 isn’t a bad price for a filling lunch. It wasn’t hands down the best thing ever, but I’d definitely come here again.

I’ve been to many taco joints with family and friends, but this place is easily one of my favorites. The customer service is not only exceptional, but the people make you feel at home with their warm smiles. The amount of meat you get in your tacos is unbelievably generous. You can make 2 tacos from buying just one. I would strongly recommend their asada tacos(omg my mouth just got watery from thinking about their tacos). Also, be aware that their spicy salsa is ACTUALLY pretty spicy so if you’re not used to eating spicy food, take it easy on the salsa.

This place is awesome. Had a Saturday afternoon out with my girlfriend and was starving. As an FYI, parking is rough out here. Best bet is to throw your car in a lot for $ 8 all day. Or better yet, take the metro out. We walked in and the line for EggSlut was wrapped around twice over. We weren’t going to wait around for an hour to get food so we decided to check out the other lines. We stopped in our foot steps as we passed Ana Maria’s. The food smelled so good. We hurried in line. Wait was about 6 minutes. My girlfriend got a carne Asada sopa and an al pastor taco. I got the burrito al pastor with everything. That’s rice, beans, cilantro, onions. I got it with mild sauce and some limes. The meat was so tender and juicy. Mild sauce had the perfect amount of heat. The burrito was huge. If you’re looking for something filling and delicious, this is the spot. Make sure to bring cash. Credit cards have an additional 50¢ fee.

If you’re craving Mexican food, you MUST go here! I repeat, YOUMUSTGOHERE! I ordered a steak burrito and they stacked so much meat. I honestly found that absolutely insane! Not stingy with their meat like Chipotle. It’s safe to say I was only able to eat half of my burrito because it was so huge!!! Their food is pretty darn good(hence why there’s always a line). If you’re debating between Ana Maria’s or Roast To Go(the Mexican spot right next to it), you’re better off waiting in the line and getting Ana Maria’s. Needless to say, I will be coming back next time I’m around.

After seeing the massive wrap around line for EggSlut, I was like NOPE, and found myself at Ana Maria’s. I just happened to be craving tacos and Ana Maria’s definitely hit the spot! I got two tacos: one al pastor(marinated pork) and one asada(beef). They put SO much meat in their tacos and it’s definitely worth it at $ 3.50 per taco. The beef was a little dry, but still good. The al pastor was pretty good! All tacos come with onions, cilantro, lemon, and your choice of mild or hot sauce. There’s a 50 cent charge for credit cards, so use cash if you have it!

One of the few taco places in the Grand Central Market area. Luckily the line was 5 minutes long. In my desperate attempt to try stuff my face with at least 4 different spots here, I managed to get a carne asada taco. The size is huge, but, I wasn’t too fond of their carne asada marinade as well as the quality of the meat. In other words, there are other places that I’d prefer to go to for some tacos. Namely, ELCHATOTACOTRUCK. Try it if you haven’t. Still my all-time fave in Los Angeles.

This place is ridiculous in the best possible way! I say that because any place that makes a burrito big enough to make Chipotle’s burritos seem small, serves some pretty gigantic burritos! I ordered a carnitas burrito, no sour cream. it was really cheap, I want to say under six bucks. So imagine my surprise when the woman putting together my burrito, put enough carnitas to feed a family of six! Accompanying the pork was rice, beans, guacamole, onions, and cilantro. All the ingredients complimented each other very well. As you can see in the picture attached to my review, the burrito, cut in half, can easily be a meal for two people. Two normal people that is. I on the other hand ate the entire thing and had no regrets =). The employees here are awesome, in the sense that they get you your meal quickly. Once I’ve tried all the other stands at Gran Central Market, I will make it a point to return Ana Maria’s.

This place is cool. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong. Boyfriend and I were lofty in our idea of how much we can eat, and we ordered one torta each, the carnitas and the chicken. We tried to each eat half of each one, but we got full after half, so we had leftovers for the next day! SCORE. These tortas are so dang good and I’d be quick to recommend them. Grand Central Market has a ton of options, and this one is solid. The place and people have character, food is good, and there are lots of options. The flavors are authentic and so darn tasty. If I lived closer to this place, I’d just direct deposit my checks here.

BASICALLYWHATALLTHEOTHERREVIEWSSAY. $ 3MASSIVETACOS. You only really need one because it’s plenty of meat. They give you extra tortillas so you can turn 1 into 2! Forget eating it like a taco because the contents are way too heavy, and your taco ends up falling apart. The meat is a little dry and bland, but you get a ton of it. Tip: Ask for extra hot sauce on the side. Service is fast and friendly. Their refried beans are bomb if you have room in your stomach. Don’t forget to order a LARGE Orange Bang or Jamaica with your meal — you end up so thirsty at the end of it.

Located in Grand Central Market, this is the place you want to go to to get the most bang for your buck. For about $ 7 – 8(depending on if you want all meat), you get a HUGE burrito filled with beans, rice, onions, cliantro, and meat. As she was assembling my burrito, she scooped on massive spoons of meat; at one point I thought she wouldn’t be able to close the thing! The burrito in the end was thick and was filled with all the good stuff that you wanted(meat), none of that filler. Only negative I had about the burrito was that the meat tended to be oily so I had to wipe down the oil-stache every bite.

Long lines, good food, no seats. Pretty much the summary of any place in Grand Central Market, so if you’re going to wait in a line, I definitely recommend this one. Food is cheap and fairly authentic(trust the little Asian girl with a Mexican best friend). For $ 8, I got a carnitas taco and lengua gordita, which doesn’t seem like much until you see the portion size. Carnitas Taco comes with 2 corn tortillas and more than enough meat for 3 normal tacos. Some of it is a little dry, but the seasoning is great and the parts that were moist were juicy and tender. Lengua Gorditas is about the size of an In-N-Out sandwich but much thicker, and it filled up my guy friend who can literally eat a 10 course meal and still get a burger afterwards. Beef tongue was tender. Service was decent, considering how busy they were, but they forgot to give us napkins for messy hand food :(

My absolute FAVORITE place to come for Mexican food. Their al pastor game is ONPOINT and is one of the best I’ve ever had(and trust me, I’ve tried a lot!) They really hook it up and give super large portions. Their tacos are $ 3, however, they give you a side of 2 extra large size corn tortillas to make it into 2 – 3 tacos! Honestly, 2 tacos is good as a meal if you’re really hungry! Their carne asada is really good as well as their chile relleno(not too much batter and pretty big size chiles as opposed to some other places I’ve gone to). Their burritos are MASSIVE like a size of a small baby and gorditas are so good with their crispy lettuce, pico de gallo, and sour cream *DROOOOL* HORCHATA is soo good, too. O-M-G. FYI: This place is located inside the Grand Central Market and cannot be seen just by driving on the street. Park inside the grand central market parking garage! PROVECHOAMIGOS! –Taco Queen–
