I find it odd that over 30-million Americans find themselves to unfortunately be lactose intolerant, and yet so few establishments provide any dining options. The Red Leprechaun is no different.

Was recommended here by a friend. It was a wonderful little pub that reminded me of the U.K.

Great service and selection of beers. Beware no liqueur license nor TV’s for sports, but not that kinda bar. Food service for Sunday brunch very slow, and was not even busy. Am a local and good to stop for a quick beer and hang out in the ‘beer-garden’

This was our first time here and certainly not the last. Right from the moment we stepped through the door it was a positive experience. Superb, friendly service. You couldn’t ask for more. I love the big chalk boards on the wall with the beer on tap. The Angry Burger was excellent. My first bite the juices came squirting out so to say it was moist would be understatement at its best. Nice juicy pattie exploding with flavour. The blue cheese topping was awesome. The fries were short of a garlic kick, but when I mentioned this I was brought a dish of fresh garlic to ‘kick it up’ a bit. The rosemary chicken was also very moist and tender. Full of flavour and the veggies were done to perfection. Nice and crisp and all our food was pipping hot. We passed on dessert but was tempted with a sampler of their house bread pudding. That was so good it was evil. Next time when I have room!

Visited this gem on a whim. Been wanting to stop by and eat here for some time. How many times can one person eat corned beef with cabbage. I love corned beef and cabbage but this place offers so much more. First, the Irish-American mac and cheese with jalapeños and corned beef. Amazing. They take most of the seeds of the jalapeño, rendering them harmless but gives enough bite for heat. The sliders pick two out of three. Picked the North Carolina pulled pork amazing AND The corned beef supremely signature. This place is Great. Will be back for sure. Can‘t wait to come back and try the bread pudding! Wish we had went for it this time but gotta wait till next time. :sad face:

So my wife and I used Red Leprachaun about 1 year ago to cater our wedding and it was great(read what we wrote earlier if you are interested). Today we had lunch there. It was a brisk day so I decided to have an Irish cream coffee. It was delicious. They use coffee(of course), Irish cream, homemade Guinness whip cream which is great topped with a little butterscotch which turns it into a Irish delight! Can’t say enough about this place, if you haven’t been, go now! You won’t regret it :)

Very disappointed our server forgot about putting our order in… he never would’ve noticed if we didn’t ask! They rushed our food which when finally came was good. Then, I guess as an apology, they offer us bread pudding on the house. I paid tax on that bread pudding now I understand that it’s just pennies but it’s the principle and that was the only form that was compensated on our bill … oh and fries where also given to us which luckily I didn’t have to pay tax on that to.

I am so glad my sister invited us for a late dinner. The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is so inviting and the service is amazing. We loved our experience and would absolutely be dinning here a whole lot. Our waitress Kristen was not only beautiful she was very nice in helping us decide on our dinner since it was our first time.

Went here again, this time we were early enough to grab their breakfast which is served until 1 p.m. I know what you’re thinking, 1 pm is early? Anyway, I got an omelet with their corned beef with feta cheese. It was great, but just a tad salty. Breakfast has those breakfast potatoes which were a perfect addition.

Came on a Wednesday night for dinner with a girlfriend. We ended up staying 3 hours — the atmosphere is great! It’s a bit pricey but the service was spectacular and it’s a cool place to hang. They had live music(although the waiter told us it’s usually on weekends), and the two guys who sang were so good! FOOD: +++ BLUECRABCAKE, $ 8 +++ +++ IRISHNACHOSWITHSTEAK, $ 11 +++ +++ PANCETTAFLATBREAD, $ 12 +++ +++ BREADPUDDINGFRENCHTOAST, $ 9.50 +++ Also a plus for having different types of cider! Their pear cider was delicious(It’s Ace pear cider). Beers around $ 6 Tip: Check in to get 50% off either crab cake or flatbread.

Awesome local bar with good food. What I liked most about this bar is the selection of local beers and the awesome hospitality shown by the bartender and locals. This is truly a friendly and welcoming place to enjoy a good beer. I had the steak nachos and it was very good. You can tell that they were made from scratch. If you are ever in the area and looking for a nice bar definitely check this place out.

glad I finally got to check this local spot out… it’s close to me, so I’m very happy I liked it because I will be back. Food good(blue crab cakes really different & delish) They pared very unique flavors to make a crab cake which was flavorful, fresh and not at all greasy –SCORE!!! Also had the asparagus and goat cheese baguette which was also not your typical bread and cheese — I’m impressed. Looking forward to trying other food items when I return… I guess certain times and certain hours; it’s more like a neighborhood bar… family style pub cuz there were parents here with their well-behaved little ones hanging over near the toy area. We had a few beers and they were good 2. Prices good. Service decent. All together a solid 4.

This review is long overdue. My friend and I came here for brunch on a Sunday morning. The place was virtually empty which was nice. We ordered the crab cake as free Unilocal check in and I had the Mac n Cheese with corned beef on top. My friend ordered the Sliders. It seemed their corned beef was their specialty, but I couldn’t resist not ordering Mac n Cheese only because I love Mac n Cheese. I suppose the two didn’t quite go well for me. Mac n Cheese was great, but the corned beef was O.K. The place is definitely clean and staff are cool, and definitely was worth a try.

Craft beers, live music, friendly, knowledgeable bartenders, and delicious gastro-pub food. What more could you want? Let’s start with the beer. Of course, they have Guinness – it’s an Irish bar! But after that, you won’t find any mass-produced Bud or Coors. Wheat beers, pale ales, reds, stouts, blondes – they have whatever you fancy. Naturally, as with all craft beer places, you can try samples. And if you can’t decide after that, you can order half-glasses. They have wine too, if you are not into the beer scene. They also have a take-away license, so you can stock up your fridge. The food was awesome! This is NOT your average pub/bar food. We had the melted brie appetizer. Brie mixed with almonds, served with toasted baguettes. Our only complaint is that we needed more! The Irish Nachos with Steak was really tasty, with a super spicy kick to it. It’ll be hard to go back and not order this again. Once again, our only complaint is that we needed more, it could have used a bit more steak, also. I really wanted the Guinness ice cream, but it’s seasonal – summer only, so I have to wait a few months. We were too stuffed to try their famous bread pudding, but it is on our list. Dublin Public was the band we saw. Love them. Fun, good, traditional Irish music. And the sound level was perfect for the pub scene – not overly loud, so you can converse with your friends. The bartenders were fast and friendly. Very knowledgeable about both the food and the beer. It’s a comfy, homey space. A big, shared table, a few separate tables, some booths and plenty of seats at the bar – my favorite spot! One problem is the fast-food place across the street with their stadium-bright outdoor lighting. Red Leprechaun is all windows, so if you’re facing that side of the bar, you are blinded by the lights. Maybe blinds or curtains on those windows would help. Looking forward to going back.

My law school recently hosted its annual holiday party at the Red Leprechaun and it turned out great! Tracy and Mark were extremely welcoming and helpful to our large group. We had reserved ahead of time, so a section of the bar was reserved for us and Tracy had beautifully set up our appetizers and finger foods. I’d say we had about 25 – 30 people and it was a perfect fit. Parking lot located in the back and otherwise, plenty of street parking available. Only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars, is because they closed at 11 pm on a Friday night. Otherwise, excellent place and highly recommended!
