Sunshine Convenience Market

Perfect spot for a convenience store if you live in the nearby apartments! They sell beer, wine, lotto tix… what more can you ask for. This place also has comes in handy when we run out of basic ingredients for making meals at home.

When The Sunshine Market opened, my holy trinity of conveniences became complete! Wine Bar, Buono’s Pizza and now The Sunshine Market.
There isn’t a grocery store within walking distance (unless I head to Top Valu and nope, not gonna do it) and being able to pop over to the Camden complex to purchase items that don’t require a huge trip to chain store is a blessing.
The store is small but packed with all of those items that whoops, you happened to forget during your weekly shopping trip. Canned goods, ice cream, bread, chips, soda (including zevia… THANK YOU!!!), candy, cigarettes, lottery tickets aaaaaaand beer ranging from Pabst all the to craft brews! When I have impromptu guests, I just head over to the sunshine market for snacks, wine, beer and BOOM — I’m ready to go without ever having to get in my car.
Some of the pricing can be high but I’ve spoken to the owner and he really does make an effort to keep prices comparable with chain stores. The convenience alone is worth the slightly higher prices in my opinion!

They have most of the items you need
& if they don’t have what you want,
they will get it for you in a day or so…
So convenient!!!
The owner & staff are very friendly!

Highly convenient location for those living in Camden and the surrounding complexes. The store is comprised of a few sections with a small to medium variety of brands to choose from within each section. Here are a few things that stood out:
–Pet Food
–Milk and Dairy
–Juice and Gatorade
–Frozen Pizzas & Microwavable meals
–Candy
–Good variety of Chips and Snacks
–Cereal
–Ice Cream
–Bread
–Lunch Meat
–Condiments
–Some Fruits and Vegetables
–Toiletries
–Cleaning supplies
They don’t currently serve any type of alcohol but if there is enough demand I am certain they will roll out a beer section at the very least. The store hours are more than reasonable with the store being open most days from 10am-​10pm. Definitely worth investigating if you are out of something and don’t feel like getting in the car to go to the supermarket.

New Market on the block. I didn’t have the opportunity to talk to the owner, but the employee was extremely helpful. The owner tries to find great deals and then passes them along to his customers. Some items are higher, than a high volume chain grocery store. However this is the only grocery store in the area. Saving time and money spent of gasoline is well worth any increased cost. It is located in the heart of the Camden Harbor View Apartments. Walking distance for all the dwellers living on the West End of the Pike. I found the store to be well lit and the shelves full.
For me this wonderful as they feature fresh organic vegetables and fruit, as well as traditional times, like cold beverages, breakfast cereals, and such. I haven’t been walking distance to a grocery store since I was 7 years old, and that my friends was a long time ago. ;-)
As they have just opened, the selections are being upgraded each day. They do sell cigarettes and sundries.
I took a stroll along the isles and found cleaning items, like dish soap. The more I looked the more items I found. I didn’t have a «real» camera with me, and I plan to return with a «real» camera to provide higher quality photos.
It was getting late and I purchased two bags of rice cakes and left.
