I ordered a cinnamon roll because I was in a hurry and driving with my dog, it was served upside down all the icing falling off with a spoon and a knife. Whataburger get it together!!!

In complete contrast to some of the poor experiences below, I’ve always encountered a clean store and restroom. And it’s «fast food»(slower than McDonald’s), which means it employs kids, which means MISTAKESHAPPENSOMETIMES. What earns them 5 stars is how each mistake I’ve had with them has been dealt with. The managers bend over backwards to make it right. I’ve had my entire family’s meals comped in the past because of a single error on a burger and I didn’t want to drive the 5 minutes back to the store. Another thing they’ve done is take my name, and the next time I returned I mentioned I had an issue with an order and they took care of the bill, no questions asked. Aside from all this, the food is amazing. Best burgers and fries in TX(esp. with their ketchup)!

Very clean. The seating inside is not very spacious, but the food is fresh. It may take a few minutes longer than most fast food restaurants to get your food, but it’s worth the wait for quality.

This place is grossly mismanaged! They are completely incapable of getting orders right and the worst part is they don’t care. Do not waste your time you can get a burger anywhere!

I have given up on this place… I order the same thing for breakfast every time I come here and every time it’s wrong. I have even gone in to ask the manager what should come on the breakfast sandwich and she confirmed(several times) that the cooks need to be retrained because they made it incorrectly. After the fifth time in a row being wrong, I give up on you Lockhart Whataburger.

We went inside on a visit a couple of days ago and although I saw a single one-star review, I figured it was worth a stop simply because I like Whataburger and we were hungry. Anyway. The inside was small but pretty clean and the service was good. Our food was on good… nothing absolutely outstanding but our order was right, it tasted great, and came out fast. If we happened to be going through Lockhart again around any particular mealtime, I’d stop here again.

Passed through Lockhart, saw the Whataburger and thought we’d give it a shot. We placed out order, the girl read it back. It was correct. We went to the window. The same girl read our order again, incorrectly this time. When told she was not correct, she acted annoyed and told us to hang on and closed the window. When she returned she said, «Well we already made it. We can add more stuff to it if you want but its already made.» We replied to this that we were not buying what we didn’t order. She huffed and closed the window again. At this point we decided to leave not certain what we would be getting back for having complained. Worse, there was a manager on floor who watched this exchange. Bad job guys.
