I bought my 2016 Acura RDX from salesman Stanford here and has been an absolutely amazing experience. From the salesman to service staff, everyone there is friendly and welcoming. Their service truly represent Acura as a luxury brand!

Don’t trust what they tell you
I bought a vehicle a few months back and was told the first oil change would be on the dealership. When I called to make the appointment it seems that they had make false promises

We leased an ilx 3 years ago from Mcgrath Acura Morton Grove. Had phenomenal customer service, easy to work with the sales people, amazing experience. 3 years zero frustration.
It comes time to return the car and we were pressed for time due to life events. My fiancé requested to return the car to an Acura dealership close to his work and Mcgrath agreed to the plan. We called Libertyville Acura to schedule a drop off time and the manager Mike Wilson provided the worst customer service we’ve ever had. He bluntly said he would not take the car since he will not be making any money on it since we are not getting a new car. He was rude, unprofessional and when we said this is horrible customer service and there isn’t any rule that we are obligated to drop off the car at certain dealerships he said he doesn’t care and that he refuses to check in the car.
I hope that Acura corporate will see this. We will NEVER come to Libertyville Acura because of Mike Wilson and will advise everyone we know not to come for this disgusting customer service.
We paid Acura a lot in the last 3 years and plan on getting an MDX in a couple of years, but we will NOT be coming to this dealership.
Take your business elsewhere and save yourself the frustration.

The service department here is definitely one of a kind. I have dealt with dealership service departments before and I have never been treated so nicely and had the staff go above and beyond to keep me happy. I had a great experience purchasing my 2011 MDX from here but what keeps me raving about this dealership is the service department. I live 28 miles south of Libertyville in Chicago so not only is it a trek for me to come up here but I never have the time to wait for my truck to be serviced so I am always offered a loaner vehicle. Bruce has been my contact and this past experience has been he best yet. He took care of checking my vehicle in and getting in a loaner mdx, brand new might I add, and out the door within 15 minutes. The whole staff here is friendly and is willing to go out of their way to make sure you’re happy. I wish all dealerships operated this way but that’s what makes it one of a kind!

This was the best car buying experience we have ever had. We drove all the way up from downtown Chicago to trade in our old car and buy a new Acura RDX here. First off ask for Luigi Miceli. He was knowledgeable, straightforward, and not pushy which made for a very positive overall experience. He got us a very fair value for our trade in and excellent price for our new RDX. Before we drove off the lot, Luigi spent a lot of time going over the technology and features of our new vehicle. Nice job libertyville Acura!

We just purchased our very first Acura, MDX, and this was a very pleasing experience. Our sales person Wael Khalaf was very helpful, nice, diligent, and was standing on our side throughout the whole process. Even when picking up our car, Wael and other staff members were so kind and Wael of course walked me through each and every step to get the most out of my new car, which I might not have figured out that quickly on my own. Again, it was an overall very pleasing car-​buying experience.

This dealership is fantastic. We went in to test drive a MDX. We had no intention on purchasing a car that day and were pleased with Luigi’s no pressure friendly approach, he was upfront and honest, which was very refreshing. Later that evening my husband and I both commented on how nice of an experience we had and what a nice guy Luigi is. We returned the next day and a few hours later drove off the lot in a new car. I highly suggest Libertyville Acura.

Best service for car maintenance I have ever experienced. Plus they have a nice waiting room with TV, couch and a table you can sit at and do laptop/​work stuff. Super super friendly employees too. Can’t comment on the sales side sorry. Bought my Acura at another dealer.

Just bought a MDX from this dealership and it was a pretty easy experience. The price was right, the car was well taken care of previously and when we arrived our sales person Luigi had the car pulled up and ready for us to go. The paperwork was pretty simple as we weren’t financing the car. Luigi was helpful and patient with us the whole way. If you’re seeking a no pressure very courteous sales process then I highly recommend Luigi and Acura Libertyville

I didn’t end up leasing my car here, but the professional sales assistance including detailed lease pricing and a thorough explanation and test drive of two models I was considering was great. After a few weeks with my new Honda I really wish I had chosen the Acura as the payments were nearly identical. I’ll be back in 35 months to see what Acura has to offer and maybe by that time I’ll feel that I deserve a luxury brand car.

This review is for the service department.
I can say without hesitation that I am happy with the service that Acura of Libertyville has performed for my Acura CL.
I feel that A big plus is that they have a very nice waiting room with free wi-​fi, coffee, snacks, bottled water, massage recliners, free video game for the kids, clean rest rooms etc. I have been to some dealers where the complementary refreshments are snarfed up by the employees– not here! I can only conclude that the employees have the good sense to understand that these things are placed in the waiting area for the customers!
This attitude of «the customer comes first» seems to be in all aspects of the Acura of Libertyville service department. I feel that taking a vehicle in for service has potential to be a unpleasant experience– it’s great that the care that I have experienced by the Acura of Libertyville staff makes taking my car in for service a tolerable task.

Stay away from their service department! You and your car will be grateful you did. They completed a simple oil change and missed items on the inspection. They rotated the tires and the car shook every time I braked. Their fees are astronomical. This place is disorganized and does very poor work.

I’ve purchased my last two cars from Acura of Libertyville. I have ALL my service done there as well.
I have never had a negative experience with sales or service. The service department ALWAYS exceeds my expectations.

This dealership offers excellent service and takes care of my 2007 MDX I purchased here and 2012 Pilot I bought elsewhere. The prices are very comparable with those charged elsewhere but the quality of work is some of the best you find. My Pilot which I bought slightly used, has after market front lights that they don’t carry. So their mechanic pointed me to a neighborhood shop that specializes in such custom works. They fixed it for me.
Then there is also a body shop that I used twice to repair damage and it also does excellent work.

A Great Leasing Experience at Acura Libertyville!
We decided to lease an Acura RDX and were so pleased with the experience we had at Acura of Libertyville. Our salesperson, DeShawn Chambliss, was very professional in getting all our needs met while not putting pressure on us to make a decision. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering an Acura. The rest of the employees we had contact with were equally pleasant and helpful to work with. DeShawn has continued to be a valuable resource as I am becoming familiar with my car and have had questions. It has been a pleasure working with him and the dealership in Libertyville.

Love this place! service department is stellar. Shelly, Nick and Bruce are great in service. They have only Acura certified mechanics and are fantastic Juan is great!
They will shuttle you or possibly one of their many great loaners if car should be in for a duration. Great waiting room coffee, herbal teas, water and snacks well you wait. Massage chair, video games and wifi.
