I thought I already gave them a 5 star review but snacks house truly never disappoints! Satisfied as always. Can’t wait to come back.

I love this place! Great snacks. One of the best corn cups I’ve had. Awesome cucumbers. Everything is just so fresh and delicious. The owners were also extremely friendly and helpful. We will be back!

My boyfriend and I are from Laredo and constantly on the look for a little slice of home. This place has the good salsas, Lucas, corn, and cucumber. We ended up getting the elote preparado, perfection in a cup. A mango and tamarindo raspa, heavenly and not that fake syrup stuff. Nachos tejanos andddd the pepinos preparado. We died and went to heaven. My boyfriend is currently fighting me to finish my mangonada even though he ate all of the food and finished his raspa! This place must have a special ingredient bcos we are addicted.

Very very nice people! You can really tell they take pride in their place, service & delicious delights they create. They love to talk about how they make their snacks with the freshest ingredients. I believe they really do have the best mangonadas in town! We can’t wait to go back!

I finally found the Best Mangonadas in town! The corn in a cup was delicious definitely will be coming back for more.

Hanging out on a Saturday night with my granddaughter. We decided we needed a treat and used Unilocal to help us choose a place. Didn’t realize until we were walking up to the door that they were about to close. The couple who works there welcomed us and did not make us feel rushed at all. We both ordered what I guess is fruit ice. After paying I decided I wanted Lucas on mine. Both husband and wife insisted it was free on your first visit rather than charge me for wanting an add on. Words cannot describe how amazing my mango was and my granddaughter said that her watermelon was the best thing she has ever eaten. What a pleasant find so close to home. We will be back often. Update: as I said in original post I would be back. Second visit I got a mangonada. Suffice it to say that now when I walk in the door the lovely owners just ask, «What size mangonada do you want.» Yep I’ve been back.

Mangonadas here are made fresh and sooooooooooo good!!! Most places use syrup for their shaved ice, this place actually uses real fruit for their shaved ice and mangonadas. I ordered one and they load up on the chili and chamoy. Also ordered was the apples they have covered in lucas, chamoy and tamarindo balls. I used to eat apples like that as a child and was so surprised to see that they sold that here. Other places that sell mexican snacks usually don’t carry that.
The snacks offered at this place are legit mexican, and delicious and the couple running the place are super friendly to spark up conversation with. Give this place a try you wont be disappointed!

I came back into town only to find that Frozen Friday’s closed down. Found this place and man they’re mangonadas are amazing. They’re very friendly and their sweet corn bread was also definitely trying. But they really need to use clear cups instead of foam cups so you can see the way they beautifully mix it with the perfect amount of chamoy

Absolutely loved finding this place. Had all my favorites from growing up in San Antonio.

The BEST snacks! We love the Mangonadas and the elote cups and the Frito pie… Ok We just LOVE it all! :-)

Went by a few weeks ago because I was craving shaved ice. This shaved ice is so good! It isn’t like a regular snow cone with syrup, it’s 10x better! When I went in, there was an older woman and man working the counter. Very sweet people. Will definitely go back for the shaved ice and try out their other snacks.

This place is good, me and my family had there burgers and fruit there and it was really good, will go back real soon.

This is a great place for shaved ice and Mexican style snacks. Me encantó este lugar! Tiene unas nieves (de agua) deliciosas. Me encantó la de limón y a mis niñas y a mi esposo les gustó la de mando. También hay de tamarindo, piña, fresa y otros sabores que no recuerdo. Tienen conchitas preparadas y se ve que es un lugar limpio. Los dueños fueron muy amables también. Aunque vivo lejos de ahí, pienso regresar pronto.

Omg where can I start!?! They have the best Mangonadas in SA that I’ve tried so far! They’re service is amazing as well! Did I mention they also have CORN IN A CUP?! SOLD.

I am so happy and thankful that Leon Valley has a snack house like this. My mom got the strawberry mangonada. I tried it and sooooo fresh. I got the cucumber with chamoy and Lucas. Also very very good. The owners are sweet and helpful, place is very clean and quaint. Might almost miss it driving by. I will definitely be back, can’t wait!

Great flavors and awesome customer service. Everything is so fresh and the nievas is all natural. You are getting the great taste of a traditional raspa without all of the messy, sugary, and full of calorie syrup.
The fruit cups are always fresh and who doesn’t love frito pie? This is a great place for a family treat or quick lunch. Prices are very reasonable, why pay $ 7.00 for a shaved ice when you can get one for $ 2.00?

Awesome Corn in a Cup! Plus I love anything that has chamoy. Haven’t tried anything else yet, but I will be back to try the Nieves
