J Riley Stewart Photography

We have purchased three pieces from J Riley Stewart photography and have our eye on two more. We enjoy the variety of choices, from local landscapes to black and white to western and national park locations. Great care is taken to ensure the framing complements each piece. The pricing is reasonable, and the artist even visited our home to help us hang some of the artwork. He is very accommodating. I purchased one piece as an anniversary gift for my spouse, and the piece was ready at the gallery in time for the occasion even though there was a snowstorm that day. These are pieces that will be enjoyed for years to come.

Father’s Day this year was the same day that our youngest graduated from high school. I wanted to show my husband how much I appreciated his being a Dad to our kids as they grew up, so a special gift was in order.
Jim Stewart has an amazing eye for composition and color. The photograph I chose for my husband, «Maryland House Reflections», shows the lighted building reflected in the still lake in early morning. The yellows, oranges, and whites of the lights and the reflection contrast with the deep and lighter blues that make up the water, the shadows, and the sky. The scene is peaceful and reflective.
Jim’s service was impeccable. I had my matted 8 by 10 print within two days and Jim even offered to frame it for us once we pick out the frame. I love Jim’s work so much that I plan to lobby for him to come down to our lake house to take some pictures of the wildlife that we can put up in our house there.
My husband said that his J Riley Steward print was the best Father’s Day present ever!
