This summer I had my window box covered with white aluminum /​siding to avoid repainting each year. Was pleased with their quick response and completion of the work. Their lead worker Jun was very knowledgable about the work done– he showed up just before 8 am each day and worked throughout the day. The finished design looks nice and his work ethic was impressive. I’d recommend them — pricing was competitive.

I want to like them so bad, especially since the first guy to come out to our house to give us estimates was so friendly and (seemingly) honest.
We have had zero luck arranging for this company to come to do the work on our house. It took multiple phone calls and emails and revised contracts and finally we get the «final» contract signed and faxed.
Then, dead silence from Orion.
Fast forward to over 2 weeks after the fax is sent. They gave us a verbal promise that our house was «next in line» and would be gotten to within the week.
Now they send us an email cancelling the contract, saying it’s actually more work and more money. What?
This entire process absolutely should not have taken several weeks. Nothing has been done and we are back to square one. Whoever is working in their office clearly is in no hurry to communicate with their clients.
Waste of time, very disappointing.

The company I work for had to have 2 doors replaced in early 2013. THe work was done promptly and professionally. The CEO of my company remarked that the investment was well worth it when he visited last year. Recently, the weather-​stripping along the bottom of the front door came loose, and Jeremiah made sure that someone was here the next day to replace the entire weather strip. I highly recommend Orion Home Improvements.

I had a good experience with Jermiah at Orion HI. There was a total of three visits. The first visit was an evaluation of the roof damage we had. The guy came on time and answered all my questions. The 2^nd visit was taken care of by two guys who had to do work on our roof outside. And the third visit was someone to come and do work on our office ceiling — patch up the damage (dry wall) and paint. Everyone was on time and cleaned up after themselves. I was happy with the service and with the follow up provided.

Great work ethics, and it’s clearly a company that strives to ensure satisfaction. The work was done in a timely fashion, and the prices were fair. Thank you for your professionalism and attention to detail!

As far as pricing goes they were comparable to many other contractors. They gave me a veterans discount so that sealed the deal (I also like utilizing companies that recognize and give discounts to service members and civil servants).
Brian came by and gave the initial estimate. Professional and actually had me come up to the attic to see where the problem areas were. This really reassured me of where the issues were located and helped me understand the breakdown of the pricing for materials for the area that needed to be fixed.
Two workers came (no uniforms and unmarked trucks), but Brian came as well to oversee the project as well. It was also pleasant to see that the workers were red blooded Americans and could speak English which is a pretty rare occurrence these days.
They came around 8:30 and started work around 9 am. They planned to finish by 2pm and it was great they finished ahead of time and I couldn’t be happier. They did a great job of matching the shingle color on my roof to my current color (that had faded a bit).
They cleaned up all the materials and even blew the saw dust off the driveway. Great and professional… they came and left as if no one was even there.
I would really recommend them. They dont try to squeeze extra money out of you… take pictures as they do the repairs… and point out any issues that may come up so it doesn’t surprise you later.

Realtors and home owners, I needed a roofing inspection done quickly for a VA loan condition delaying closing. Orion was very responsive and professional. The reasonably cost 20+ point report with pictures they gave the seller was thorough and satisfied the underwriter. How I was introduced to them? I saw their trucks install two single family house roofs in my neighborhood. OHI has Class B contractor license with the state of Virginia, give them a call, thanks Orion Home Improvements!

I called Orion (amongst many others) to get an estimate to repair our vinyl siding which came loose during Hurricane Sandy. It was a small job (only a flap came loose) which other companies were charging and arm & a leg. Jeremiah was very professional and courteous. He had reserved 1.5 hours for our service call, so he waited in his truck while I tried to get a hold of my husband. His estimate beat all of his competitors and my husband gave the OK right away.
He started the job and completed it professionally and promptly, making sure on both sides of the vinyl siding that the nails were secure.
We would definitely call Orion Home improvements again for future exterior repairs.

We just got new gutters from Orion and love them!
Jeremiah came out and gave us an estimate that I considered reasonable. He went through the options and helped us choose what was right for us, including some options we did not think of before, like a rain barrel to help with drainage and our garden. Two birds with one stone! He wasn’t pushy at all, especially compared to other estimates we got.
The work was delayed due to weather, which I can completely understand. I really didn’t want someone falling off our 30 foot roof just keep a timeline anyway. They kept us in the know about this.
The work, as far as my limited knowledge on the subject goes, looks very well done.
They followed up with us afterward and ensured that everything was completed as expected.
It’s nice to know that there are companies out there that really do care about making sure their clients are satisfied. I would not hesitate to use them again.
