Seldom does the quaint experience of a small town café capture the diverse variety of cultures represented by it’s people. Here in this café, I have had the pleasure to taste the genius creations of an ecceentric owner, and a staff enthusiastic about the quality of a menu that is simply described by the utter I make after the first bite: «mmmm»

We went for the first time today to get something yummy and enjoy the beautiful weather. It was awesome! Like the reviews say below, the froyo is natural, meaning it just tastes like frozen plain yogurt. If that’s not your preference, this is not your place. I put fresh fruit on mine and it was delicious. Can’t wait to go back and try their food and happy hour!

On a whim went here for lunch today with my mom. This yogurt shop has a variety of soups and salads in addition to its yogurt offering. You can get a little sample of any of their soups or their yogurt before committing. My mom enjoyed one of the vegan soups, while I had a soup and salad combo — black eyed pea, sausage and collard soup and the figgy salad. My lunch was exactly what I needed on this chilly day, and I’m glad we sat inside to eat. Since it’s a yogurt shop, I also got a small froyo. At least today they had only one flavor of yogurt, a delicious plain with which you get one topping included and each additional topping is 50 cents. I went for the brownie crumbles that come from Moms Apple Pie as my topping although I liked the yogurt by itself. I liked that they have counter seating in addition to a few tables, and I’ll likely eat lunch here again.

Awesome pork chili, made from locally raised pork, and a spinach salad for under $ 10. Nice micro-brew selection as well. Easy parking(in Leesburg!) in rear. A must-try in any season of year.

I just had my fourth soup at Cultured. Hand’s down best soups… fresh as well as hearty. My favorites are German Chicken with cabbage and apple as well as ginger tomato and chicken. Cultured is more widely know for their yogurt but it is the soup that brings me in for lunch. So happy to have you in Leesburg.

Alicia is the best! She always hooks us up with the best toppings. It’s also the best frozen yogurt in town. We love the tart flavored yogurt; it’s more natural and has way less sugar. I have also been lucky enough to get a sample of the new lunch menu made by Mike. The chicken shawarma was excellent. I can’t wait to eat more off the lunch menu. Edited to add that I had some soup this past weekend! WOW! It was so delicious. Chicken and Apple with sausage. It was so fresh and delicious. The 12 oz was filling. I love this place!

My friend and I came here after we had dinner, and it was in walking distance. Once we plugged it in our GPS, we got to walking, only 5 minutes away from the restaurant where we were at. We unexpectantly just walked right up to it– at night they need an OPEN sign or lights or ANYTHING to show that they are open. We walked in and the young lady helped us out. She gave us samples since we’ve never experience«real» frozen yogurt before. There were many toppings to choose from and she helped us with our decision of what to get on top. I got Nutella and strawberries, and my friend got nutella and oreo. the young lady did NOT skimp on the Nutella, it was awesome. We went outside on the back patio and enjoyed our dessert. very cute place, felt right at home.

Went here for dessert and I was left disappointed. First, they didn’t have the toppings I wanted for my yogurt. Second, the toppings are just sitting in white containers, the person literally shifts through all of them looking for the topping I wanted. Third, the yogurt it’s self was lacking — the topping could not save this yogurt. Not sure how this place has a high rating, the place was empty and young kids screaming and being rude. Only advice I can say is ask for a sample and let that be your deciding factor.

OMG. I’m a yogurt lover. Frozen yogurt with strawberries was just perfect. Very little sugar which makes the yogurt taste like yogurt. I will be going there weekly. It was delicious and its my new favorite sweet place. Highly recommend it. :)

If you have lots of dietary issues like my kid, good healthy alternative. From what they tell me, it’s literally just plain yogurt that’s frozen and dispensed by machine. Hardly any sweetness… but then you can add fresh fruit toppings and the usual other generic stuff like nutella, maybe nuts, and choco chips, etc. We just stuck to mango and fresh strawberries. Nothing special. They serve it out if Mom’s Apple Pie in Leesburg. I think they used to have a separate store next door but now closed.

Still great! I love Cultured’s frozen yogurt and have gotten more than a few friends addicted to it along with my 4 year old. It is not super-sugary, fake-flavored, yogurt-in-name-only-but-actually-soft-serve-ice-cream like the now trendy yogurt shops sprouting up like bamboo everywhere. Its actual tangy yogurt, no flavoring, with whatever you want on top. Fresh fruit is my personal favorite but they have lots of other fun things to add too. They also serve hot soups once the weather starts to cool down. Between Cultured and Mom’s Apple Pie shop there are three different offerings at any one time and they are delicious. Bonus: most of the ingredients are from local farms so not only are you supporting a local shop, but you’re also getting fresh locally grown produce. Pro-tip: They give samples! of both yogurt and the soups! YUM!

This place is really great! The young woman who runs it is the daughter of the owner of Mom’s Apple Pie right next door. It’s such a simple idea that it really works well. Frozen REAL yogurt with some toppings in a cup and you pay money for it. They even have a loyalty card that you can get punched! When it’s warm and you’re walking around downtown Leesburg, hop over here and grab a cup. You won’t regret it!

This type of tart yogurt must be an acquired taste or it was just bad yogurt. My wife and I threw our $ 13 purchase away, literally only after a few bites! They only have one flavor. Learn from our error and ask for a sample first so you are not surprised or avoid it altogether.

SO fresh and SOOO delicious! Especially refreshing on a hot summer afternoon. The fresh, local berries on top were out of this world!

This is the best frozen yogurt I’ve ever had, and that includes Pinkberrys. This is nicely tart, which just enough sweetener to give it a bit of a kick. Once summer rolls around, they keep fresh, local fruit, as well as other fruit options — my favorite is fresh mango and raspberries. The prices are a bit higher that expected, but consider that this place is local, and that the value seems to increase with the size you get — so I go for the large and stick half in the freezer. :) Parking can be tight, but I live in downtown and have never had a problem. If you don’t spot something on the street or in the tiny lot(they share one with Mom’s), swing into the county government’s garage — there are always spaces after business hours and on weekends.

If you’re looking for something resembling ice cream, this is not your place. This is REAL frozen YOGURT. Reminds me of the yogurt I had in Greece. A bit tangy and I really think that it HAS to have fruit and/or granola added. That’s just my tastebuds! Find your favorite fruit, add a sprinkle of granola and you’ve got a great, healthy dessert. Best yet is the brownie pieces — but stir it all together!!! As an added benefit, your tummy will appreciate the natural probiotics. Why eat something too sweet when you’re looking for yogurt? Remember not ice cream, not TCBY!!! Loses stars because its very difficult to find a place to park. Also, I think the prices are a little steep.

Updated my review to 3 stars. I haven’t gone back so I can’t verify if the yogurt tastes better, but I truly appreciate that the manager reached out to me directly and took my thoughts seriously. Love a small business with great leadership!

Went there tonight after eating at Fireworks. I was surprised by the froyo: it actually tasted like yogurt! RedMango/others never seem to actually taste like yogurt. It’s quite tart but still smooth. The topping list was extensive, I went with raspberries and brownie bits and was in heaven. Next time I might go with something that would smooth out the taste a bit more. Parking could be a hassle, although I would never go here without parking for dinner elsewhere. Also, $ 3.99 for the small cup is a bit steep… Update to the parking: went on a night when I needed to park. They have a lot and although small, we found a space. It definitely filled up quick though! They stayed open an extra 15min for people strolling in somewhat late on a Sunday night =D Update #2: the management reached out to me on this review, thank you! I’m not out that way too much but have been itching to go back. And you’re right, parking in Leesburg is tight. I was suggested to park in the main parking garage(free) and walk over, which is a short easy walk. I still rave about this place and will be back as a sweet treat when in the area!

The yogurt is similar to pinkberry and red mango, except it tastes better. Light on sugar but packs a tangy punch. Lots of toppings to choose from but I’d keep it simple and go plain. Parking is not easy though.
