Great pizza and crab cakes. And a great wait staff. Ask for Rose — sassy, smart and likes her wine.

Came here for a birthday dinner,(sadly only because the line for Pasta Plus was around the corner) boy does this place need some redecorating. Very drab, on the borderline of dirty. The waitress was attentive and helpful in picking out food choices. The homemade bread and oil is really yum and fresh. My brother ordered the sausage dog which was actually really good. I order the gnocchi which I didn’t love, tasted a little on the doughy side for me. Overall everyone thought there food was ok, maybe it’s just because we had our expectations set at Pasta Plus standards.

This was one of my favorite places. WTF happened? Bread with EVOO. Needs seasoning Pasta Fagole was watery and bland. Rolled eggplant was ok, but not great Cream of crab soup was FAR too sweet Crème brûlée. The cream was split. Nice flavor. The waitress was very nice and professional. WTFHAPPENED? Five stars to two in 12 months.

After a really long and frustrating Sunday, my family and I were hot and starving. We could not find a nice place that did not require a reservation that afternoon for some reason. We called Ferrari’s knowing that they did not open till 4 and reserved a spot. we got there at 3:56 and we welcomed with open arms. Who I believe was the manager’s wife immediately took us in and cared for us the entire time we were there. I believe we were the only table she was waiting us. She treated us like Kings and Queens. The crab soup is absolutely delicious!

I stumbled on this place one time when i needed a new tire. There’s some tire fix place next door. I had a stressful day and it was happy hour-ish time so i turned to Unilocal and saw this place had pretty good reviews. I had driven by this place a million times and it never looked like a place i’d want to go. I was sooo wrong. I initially sat at the bar, the servers were kind, there were a lot of regulars and their food happy hour specials are great. I had the eggplant, mozzarella roll for 5 $. This was a little too greasy for me but the flavor of the marinara was great. My friend ended up joining and got the 5 $ pizza and that was amazing. Fresh dough, fresh veggies. Really good. Oh and the bread/olive oil, so good. I ended up ordering their special for that day which was these huge seared scallops over angel hair with some dijon/garlic sauce and it was amazingly good. The scallops were fresh and cooked perfectly, my only complaint is that there was minor grit. It was easily overlooked because this dish was perfect. I really look forward to going back and trying some other dishes. Their menu is pretty large, i also want to try a calzone! This place is a hidden gem and i’m disapointed i didn’t know about it sooner!

Chicken Parmesan was bland, pasta was over cooked. Sauce left much to be desired in terms of flavor. I’m not sure why they get such high ratings. Another user said that the rolled eggplant appetizer was incredible. I found it to be boring and lacking in texture. I will give them another chance but so far I am not impressed, or even satisfied.

C J Ferrari’s was a wonderful find. If you like family owned places, try Ferrari’s. If you don’t like family owed places, try Ferrari’s! Look, the place is a true find. A very active bar filled with bikers and bankers. But don’t worry, you won’t hear the bar in the dining room. My wife loved the crab soup, the the star of the night was the Calamari!!! We love calamari, and this was some of the best we ever had. Tender and lightly breaded, we could have had the huge portion as an entrée! Oh, don’t forget the bread and dipping sauce. We had two portions of this. I loved the Eggplant Parmesan. The eggplant was obviously fresh — not out of a box in the freezer. Layered with a creamy blend of cheeses and sauce, served on a mound of pasta. I cannot think of a time when I had a better version of this classic. My wife had the spaghetti with meatballs — made with a very tasty bolognese sauce. She had a hard time finishing the huge portion. Bottom line — Ferrari’s has great food served with pride! Try it if you enjoy authentic food, otherwiseI guess you will just have to head to a national chain and have reheats!
