Very cool location at the Colorado Belle right on the river-walk. We did the breakfast buffet which was decent for the price; pretty basic but had some good options The stuffed french toast was delicious and a nice touch to the buffet. The one major complaint I have: The patio is excellent and obviously where most customers would choose to be seated on a nice Laughlin day. BEWAREOFTHEPATIOCHAIRS… they scratch and squeal SO bad when moved along the pavement, like worse than nails against a chalk-board; the moment my boyfriend moved a chair I had an instant headache and of course others were moving the chairs around us to access the buffet and such so that really sucked! Probably the loudest most painful chair noise I have ever heard in my life. Pretty sure all it would take to fix that situation is a small investment in little rubber tabs for the chair-leg-bottoms. This is obviously an unusual complaint but for me it really effected the dining experience; not to mention the poor servers working there dealing with that noise all day long. We will go back to The Loading Dock and try it out for lunch or dinner next time we are in Laughlin. I am just hoping the chairs are not an issue again because the food seems decent enough and the building/environment seems perfect.

I like their breakfest buffet with omelet station. If you go early enough, you will avoid crowds. Great new of the river and the sunrise over the canyon formations. Higher quality food than Edgewater’s breakfast buffet.

Terrible service!!! We ordered the all you can eat chicken and ribs and waited 45 minutes. The place wasn’t even busy. Then when we complained, all the manager did was say he’s so sorry. Really!!! He didn’t offer a discount or anything. THE a table near us who had just gotten there were served what we ordered! At that point we left. I can’t review the food as we were never served.

Wish I had read the reviews before going to the loading dock. The food on their regular menu was so over priced we ordered the $ 16 buffet. Bland at best. The tri tip was uneatable like shoe leather. The desserts had that old frozen taste. I would not recommend the loading dock

Very very nasty. We went for a late dinner, around 8pm. The food was so nasty I told the waiter and they charged me for the drinks. I took one bite and felt sick. It might have been the time of day. I definitely will not go back.

I wasn’t expecting much from this buffet, and I got much less than that. I went for their breakfast buffet with a half off coupon that came with my room, and feel I overpaid. As far as food goes, at least for breakfast, it is a small buffet with limited selection and average quality. Their biggest problem, however, is the service. I was quickly seated, and waited a few minutes for a server to come take my drink order. After several minutes, several servers had walked past but nobody acknowledged me. So I went ahead and got my food. Around the time I finished my first plate, one of the servers, who wasn’t even my server, realized nobody had gotten my order so he went to get me a drink. Finally while he was gone, my server came and offered to take my drink order. When I told him someone was already getting it, he said he’d make sure I got my drink.(The other server brought it a couple minutes later). No drink refills were ever offered. Shortly thereafter, the server brought me my check(you pay as you exit) and said«I will be your cashier when you’re done». So when I finished, I gave him my check and credit card. It took 10 – 15 minutes for him to bring it back. Why? Because he had to take it to the cashier for them to ring up, and there was a long line of people standing there waiting to pay.(Wait a minute, I thought he said he was my cashier). So my check sat at the cashier waiting until they had a chance to run it. I would have gotten out of there a lot quicker had I gotten in line instead of following instructions. Usually I would tip something, especially since I have another half price coupon for tomorrow. Yeah right. No tip, and there’s no way I’m going back tomorrow.

Let me Start by asking: 1. You have been to Laughlin, right? 2. You are aware that there is already a shortage of decent food? Well, having said that, going anywhere to eat in Laughlin, you are already quasi prepared for a let down when dining. And The Loading Dock doesn’t disappoint. We came in on a quiet Thursday Night. Football game on, so we asked to sit in the bar. Clean, crisp, everything good. We were given three dining options: Buffet Menu or an «All — You — Can –Eat» chicken and ribs combo with cornbread, beans & coleslaw. Husband ordered pot roast Son ordered Mahi Tacos I LOVE me some ribs so I ordered the«AYCE» ribs The server asked if I would like light or dark meat on the chicken, and I explained that I don’t eat chicken, so they could hold the chicken. He informed me that I HAD to have the chicken. Wow, okay, then it doesn’t matter, bring me whatever you want since I won’t be eating it. The orders all came out. The Mahi Tacos were average. Nothing bad, nothing noteworthy either. The pot roast was tough as leather. My husband, a non complainer, ate what he was able to saw off. The ribs. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the ribs. The rib plate arrived. I could not even cut through the ribs. I LOVE me some ribs, and love when they fall off the bone. The did not fall off the bone, they weren’t cut-able. When I finally cut them through, they bled out(yes, I know it’s not actually blood, but just noting that the juice that poured out had color to it. ick!) The server saw my dilemma, and went in the back and brought out new«better» ribs. They also were under cooked, tough and leathery. They brought out a third plate of ribs, but honestly, by that time I had thrown up the white flag, and surrendered to the fact that I should have read UnilocalBEFORE I came in. The server had a long conversation with the manger(although I cannot imagine that this should have taken more than 1 minute to discuss) and they took the ribs off the bill. They should have comped the entire check because this whole meal was inedible. Honestly can say, that this is THE worst food I have ever had in Laughlin, and if you have been to Laughlin, you understand how really bad this must actually be…

The Loading Dock is my favorite Laughlin experience. You can enjoy misted patio seating, or indoor air conditioning. There is always live music outside playing some amazing music, usually country or good old American rock and roll. Now to the food ohhhhh the food. I’ve never had a bad meal. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner is always a treat. The prices aren’t expensive for being a waterfront hotel, nor how delicious EVERYTHING is. Everything is plentiful, especially the drinks. The only think I can’t speak for is the buffet, I’ve never had that full option. I have had the salad bar with my dinner option(Spicy chicken fettuccine that was still delicious the next day), and it was packed with options. If you don’t like a smiling staff, fun atmosphere, and delicious food then this is not the place for you. See you again next time, Loading Dock!

You may like the loading dock if… You hate money. You hate good food. You love visiting the bathroom. You enjoy chewing on leather. Your brain can only handle 3 options. You enjoy dining by yourself. You get off on poor service. You love train wrecks and incapable managers The food is so bad here and the worst part is they give it to you with a smile knowing its shitty. We had a manager come by shaking her head up and down while saying, «you liking your dinner»? I told her, «Can I be honest» …yeah sure. Your chicken is shoe leather and should not be served.. Your soup doesn’t resemble soup at all and more like mayo. Ask your chef if they are blind. She asked my wife if she wanted another wine but skipped me and my Father in law. No listening skills. To the servers credit, kind of… I told her I hate wasting food but I can’t eat it because its inedible. She told me the Colorado Bell will take from me so take from them… Told me to go up and try and find a good piece. Yikes! This didn’t install any faith in this place but at least she knew what was what. Save your money and your toilet paper and DON’T COMEHERE.

Had breakfast here. The buffet… ITSUCKS!!! Seems like the food was sitting out for too long. My eggs were cold, found a hair in my food. The only reason why I’m giving this place 2 stars is because… Jose… Our waiter was excellent.

Lets start off with the fact that pretty much every hotel /casino restaurant in this area is just mediocre at best. They’re not great, but they wont kill you. The new Loading dock is no exception. It is just Meh. f I went with my father for Sunday breakfast and we didn’t feel like stuffing our faces and paying $ 20 each for the champagne brunch. We decided to order from the regular menu. I ordered simple sausage and eggs with a side of home fries. the eggs were fine, the sausage was fine, the home fries were not very good. It is most definitely frozen potato cubes with some peppers fried to order. They’re just not good, dry, hard, and too salty for what they are. If your’e looking for a middle of the road breakfast that is OK this place isn’t that bad. At least is new and has a nice view of the river.

We came here for Happy Hour on our trip to Laughlin and stay at the Colorado Belle. The specials were really good and we were able to get some nice smaller food portions than if we had done the buffet and a lot cheaper too. Had a couple of good cocktails, some tasty queso and some hot wings that were OK. The BBQ shrimp was a little too sweet but good. The service was very good and we were kept well hydrated. The view this f the river from there is very nice. A nice regular bar with no bells and whistles. Also — there was THANKFULLY not a lime in the rum and Coke I ordered. Good job.

Craving appetizers for lunch & having a $ 20 credit voucher from the casino, we decided to try The Loading Dock. My friend & I ordered the spicy chicken wings, loaded potato skins, and the carne asada tacos. Wow… the wings tasted like fried chicken with a nice heat kick, the tacos topped with fresh guacamole were delicious & had that grill charcoal taste like street tacos should. As for the loaded potato skins, they were just ok. They were a little on the dense side & the bacon bits were a little too salty. Once I topped the potato with a dollop of sour cream, that helped ease the saltiness of the bacon. Prices were reasonable & the establishment has indoor/outdoor seating and a bar. Service was a little slow but our waitress was attentive & sweet. Based on the low reviews, looks like this place has improved with much needed changes. As for us… we had a decent dinning experience.

The diners spoke, and management listened! The Loading Dock’s buffet has been expanded and greatly modified – to good effect; the menus have been greatly revamped; and even a pause was taken to retrain the waitstaff. Prices are still high, but on my revisit the food was remarkably improved. While the Friday Seafood Buffet still is not as expansive as, for example, the one served up by the Avi at the Harvest Buffet, some of its new offerings are finer and quite well executed. A standout for me was Stuffed Swai, a delicate white fish stuffed with an unknown concoction that smacked of mushrooms and turkey stuffing. Deep Fried Shrimp featured tasty large fantails cooked to a golden hue and served in small metal baskets, probably right after completing their dunking in a deep fryer. Manhattan Clam Chowder was a complex and clearly homemade mix of welcome ingredients. All mussels sampled were delicious in various guises. And Snow Crab legs, knuckles, and claws were pre-cut and opened for easy access. They tasted good but were really salty and cold. I would have preferred them warm. To the credit of buffet attendees, a request for melted butter was quickly obliged, and the desired hot liquid proffered in a suitable metal container. Besides the new buffet, one can still order from a set menu. Fried Pickles are offered as an appetizer at dinner time, and they were hot and great dipped in a spicy Cajun Remoulade. But breakfast, lunch, and dinner are now more compartmentalized. For instance, hamburgers are no longer offered at dinner, which I think is a major mistake. One should not have to be coerced to eschew a burger for a steak just because the sun is going down. As a homey touch, drinks are served in mason jars. And our server Tanya and her able assistants were friendly, often present to check on diners’ needs, and efficient. While this restaurant seems vastly improved, there is still room for improvement. A Taquito had a noticeable after-bite. And the dessert section is really scanty and does not offer even one sugar-free or no sugar added treat. But, everything considered, dining at the Loading Dock on a Friday night has now become a quite pleasant dining experience.

We were here to see the fireworks over the Colorado River awesome view from their outside patio! I ordered fish and chips not that crispy, somewhat soggy! I don’t like to complain but it was overly crowded 4th of July weekend! So, I’ll try it again in future!

I really like this place, best restaurant experience we have had in the past 4 days! I like you can go on sunday and get the all u can eat and drink chanpagne brunch for 19.99 … but they also have the full menu too! The brunch is basic, salad bar, omelets, meat nothing amazing… but was tasty and fresh. The carne asada tacos are amazing! If you go in the mornings ask for Jenna… she is hands down the best server I have ever had anywhere. It’s a bit pricey but worth it.

This was one of my most memorable(and awful) dining experiences ever. It was sort of clean, so there’s that. They have nothing vegetarian, so I ordered a salad and had them remove the meat. They still served it with bacon bits or bacon pieces. Ask for another, so they brought that out after literally EVERYONE in my group of 10+ had alreadry completely finished their meals. It cost about $ 10 and it consisted of 1 croûton and some iceburg lettuce. They also conveniently forgot to include the avocado that was on the menu for this item. When questioned, they said they didn’t have anymore. No apologies, no bill credits. Just blank stares to glares in my direction. All told, the experience took over 1.5 hours, with EVERYONE at the table being pissed for the poor service they also experienced. NEVER. AGAIN. DO not think your experience will be different — all the reviews here speak for themselves.

Loading Dock is a really nice addition to the Edgewater/Colorado Belle properties. They offer indoor, as well as patio seating with fantastic views of the river. We visited this past Friday night, and there were rotating bands playing alongside the water. The music was great, which snapped us of our weekday grind and into the perfect Friday night weekend mood. The place is put together really well, with many thoughtful touches that create a fun and inviting atmosphere. The themed décor is creative, indicating that a lot of thought has gone into every aspect of the venue. They have a variety of wines by the bottle or glass, which is a nice addition. Our server, Mark, did a knock out job, never missing a beat from asking great questions to ice water awareness. All of the small touches make the difference from being good or stepping up to take it to the next level of true greatness. It was really difficult to choose an appetizer because they all sound yummy. We finally decided on the Pork Wings, their bone-in braised pork shanks of deliciousness. The pork shanks are really moist and tender, cooked to perfection, finished in a spicy bbq sauce, then lightly topped with chopped green onions. We both loved this app and can’t recommend it enough. For the main act, I did the Surf and Turf with the filet cooked to perfection at Medium Rare, and my better half opted for a Medium Rare Petite Filet. No messing around here, all of the accouterments were included without having to ask. The entrees come with seasonal veggies and a choice of potato: mashed, baked, or roasted. We both went for mashed. If you’re in more of a ‘little this and little that’ kind of mood, they also offer a buffet. The food quality is very high, so you can’t go wrong no matter what you choose. The next time I visit I want to try the Sunday Brunch with their gorgeous Bloody Mary.

First time trying the loading dock, as all the good restaurants located upstairs at the Colorado Belle have been closed. So Disappointing… I will say the majority of the staff are very friendly, we tried the breakfast buffet around 10:15am, I didn’t realize that it closes at 11:00 am. And by 10:45 they are cleaning up and putting things away. The omelet station was good, lots of choices, nice fruit selection. Now on the the Hot food selections. I didn’t see any new food come out after my arrival, the pancakes, bacon and hash browns were all cold. They are under heat lamps and hot water underneath, but for how long? When I asked the food server if they had any hot hash browns as these were cold? He touch the pan and said«Well the pan is hot» So I guess that was a NO? Hmmm So an omelet and fruit was all I had. No plans to go back!
