Wait time, service, food quality, atmosphere all sub-standard. Our wait time was an hour, we got in after 50 minutes. It was 10 minutes till we saw our waiter. Our food arrived 40 minutes later. It was Friday nite, all you can eat fish. That’s what we ordered. It’s the special — why would it take so long? So I got 2 little pieces of fish — about 2−½″ square. What? It’s all you can eat! I was going to order more right away due to the long wait time. But then I took a bite and knew I wanted no more. Too rubbery for my taste. I got about ¾ of a serving of fries — semi cold and a good portion of slaw. We got tired of waiting for a check so we got the cashier to look it up for us. Atmosphere? There’s just none.

You are going to want to come here for a good and fairly priced no frills meal. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. The food was cooked perfect to order(I had the eggs Benedict). While here local law enforcement bombarded the place. When the cops are in the place you know you’re in for a good meal! Service was a bit slow, but they’re so darned nice… I just didn’t care. We will definitely come again!

This is a hidden gem, a family owned and run eatery, the food is good and the service is good, we eat there about once a week for the last few months — — BUT — — last week I ordered a burger which had BBQ sauce on it. I asked the server for a little more BBQ sauce which he brought out in a little condiment cup,(now this was just a couple ounces of bottled BBQ sauce, probably Sweet Baby Ray’s sauce) when the bill came there was a charge for $.75 for a tablespoon of BBQ sauce. I know, it’s only $.75, I’d spend that out in the casino in a heartbeat and not think a thing about it AND I don’t mind paying for what I get, it just shows me a lack of caring about your customer, what if I wanted mustard and catsup, would that be $ 1.50? Just asking, I don’t know.

Great burgers! Slow service sometimes. Wednesdays are half off burgers, but now you have to buy a drink with it in order to get that deal. They also charge more for different fries.

Wow, is this place overrated. This is an old folks eatery. a rundown diner attached to a dark, lonely bar and one of the saddest casinos I’ve ever seen. We were relieved to leave, through the closed gift shop, down a frighteningly rickety elevator. We laugh about it now. Daniel’s served my wife and I the worst steaks we’ve ever had. Meat is low grade here, and cooked in a way that it had a thick, grimy, grease layer all around it. And the seared outside crumbled into a greasy, grainy mess as I chewed it. I’m not sure what they did to it, but it was downright disgusting. Dining room is dated and was not clean, though we were the lone customers. The entire building is old and rundown, badly in need of renovation. Server/host was a no show our entire meal. When he finally did show up, I told him the steak was just not good, he did nothing. TV was also broken during the World Series. No one could fix it. One visit was enough here. Maybe we caught it on a bad night? I don’t want to go back to check. It was a miserable meal. I’m very surprised at the reviews of fellow Unilocalers. We ate here because of their reviews. My guess is overconsumption of alcohol was involved, because this place is miserable. Skip it.

Truly a hidden gem right off the River Walk. Lots of easy parking right in front of the Regency casino. Daniels on the River serves the best burgers in town! Good friendly service and very reasonable prices for such large portions! Almost every seat has a river view. You will love this place. I drive from Vegas just to eat here and enjoy the Colorado River! You wont be disappointed!

I scored it a 5 star for the type of restaurant it is. We were told they have a good burger. Always on the look out for a good burger and this place did not disappoint. All 4 of us had different types of burgers and everyone raved about theirs and said they had made the best choice. The fries and side were all fresh and tasty. Not a single complaint from any of us. Go here for a burger., you’ll be glad you did. I hear the prime rib is good as well. Maybe next time. Just kidding burgers only for me at this place !!

Everything is great here, taco Tuesday, 2 for 1 burger Wednesday, and their breakfasts are amazing. The only thing is their service, they just aren’t very friendly, and food can take a while. I had a Denver omelet, it was huge and so good, a very good deal for the price. Their burgers are also tasty. If they can get their service more upbeat, it would make a big difference, because the food is so awesome.

Daniels is located in the teeny little casino The Regency and it’s great! It is super casual but the food and service was fabulous! We had a regular cut and king cut prime rib and it was delish! We are super full and that little place will be our new favorite spot for drinking and dining!

We ate here the for dinner the other night and had Brandon as our server. I have to say the outside of the place looks a little scary but, once inside your greeted with friendly faces. We were sat and brought drinks right away. The menu is large and had many options we wanted to try! Food came and was fresh, hot, and delicious!!! Dressings looked homemade, salmon was perfectly cooked, vegetables were fresh, and so was everything else. I can’t even begin to explain how impressed we were by the food! It’s amazing to me that this place can produce such incredible food yet, large companies can’t even come close to touching! This place is definitely a hidden gem and we are returning for breakfast in the morning!!!

Small place inside Regency Casino. I had the NY steak. It was tasty and it comes with baked potato and mixed veggies. The veggies were also lightly seasoned. Food was great. Will definitely visit again when in Laughlin.

Great food, great service, and a beautiful view. All for under $ 20 for two. My girlfriend got a blt and curly fries. I got a cheddar bacon burger. For a Thursday it wasn’t crowded but had a good amount of people. We were lucky enough to get a table by the window. Waiter was nice and informative, a no rushed attitude.

A hidden little gem! My wife and I came here this morning at 11AM. We just missed the breakfast special by one half hour. But we didn’t mind paying full price for our meals because they were excellent. She got bacon and eggs. I got the Cajun hamburger with sweet potato fries. Everything was cooked to perfection. The eggs were fluffy, the country potatoes were crispy, the bacon was perfect. My hamburger was seasoned perfectly, not too overpowering but full of flavor. The sweet potato fries were piping HOT and the portions were large. Neither one of us completely finished our meal. And I want to give a shout out to Eve, our server, she was excellent! You won’t be disappointed here.

Great service and great food. We came in on a Tuesday they had taco Tuesday special. The tacos are all great we tried the Carne and the shrimp and fish tacos they were mouthwatering delicious with great flavor and the spicy sauce was a plesent kick. Ordering 2 of the Carne and shrimp to go they are that good. Want some good food… this is the spot! Draft beers too… wasn’t too busy and feels like a family run establishment they are definetly on my list of places to eat at in laughlin.

Servers were great! Our burgers we great! Made with homemade patties not the frozen kind. The offer a few choices in fries which is really nice. Hubby opted for a side salad instead of fries which they substituted with no problems. Over all the experience here was very good we would definitely come back again. Oh yeah, don’t let the size of the building(Regency Casino in between the Aquarius & Edgewater casino’s) throw you, the restaurant is a decent size with a nice view of the river.

DANIEL’S RESTONTHERIVER One of the dearest things I appreciate is resting alongside the Colorado River. Whether it is in Grand Canyon National Park, Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Lake Havasu City, or Laughlin; time spent along the Colorado River is the food for my soul. So, after hiking along the Colorado River, I’d get food for my hunger in a restaurant overlooking it. Daniel’s on the River is the upper level restaurant of the Regency Casino. If you’ve never been to Laughlin, the Regency is a tiny casino near the middle of the Riverwalk between The Aquarius and The Edgewater. At the time of my visit in mid May, a continuous cloud of infinitesimal flies swarmed over the Riverwalk. In similar style to walking into any of the businesses off the Riverwalk, it was necessary to pass through a cloud of infinitesimal flies to enter the Regency. As soon as the door opens, there is a gift shop. It is necessary to pass through the gift shop to ride the elevator to the second level where Daniel’s on the River is. When I entered Daniel’s on the River, it was only me: Daniel and the waiter who was sweeping the floor at the time. The upshot was that the restaurant was empty freeing up a table overlooking the Colorado River. This and not the food was the ingredient to a positive dining experience. The view of the Colorado River looks across the northern landscape of Bullhead City toward the mountains. I wouldn’t be surprised if one day, the owners turn the picturesque tables into a patio area. Now let me discuss the food. I ordered the mushroom Swiss mushroom burger with fries. Their menu features the usual repertoire of burger and sandwich choices with different names. This is similar to a café. The Swiss mushroom burger was thick and juicy with the right amount of mushrooms. The flaw with the sandwich was the hamburger rolls. After a few bites, the upper bun crumbled apart. The fries were okay. As far as the service, the one negative is the perception of being rushed toward the end. I am still finishing the mushroom Swiss burger and the waiter is asking me if I’m done. I don’t know why he’d be hurrying me when the population of the restaurant increased from just yours truly to an additional person at the counter. Overall the waiter was pleasant and on top of my soda refills. On future Laughlin visits I most likely will be resting at other restauo near the Colorado River. I have nothing bad to say about Daniel’s Restaurant on the River at the exact time that I have something to say about wanting to experience more of Laughlin by dining in one of the several restaurants under the town’s skyline.

My husband and I ate here for the first time in the 9 years that we have lived in this area. It is a tiny little casino hole in the wall, that we have driven by the sign a million times and never made a connection that it was a stand alone casino. Anyway, my hubby thought that the prime rib was just was good as any other casino in Laughlin or Vegas. I had the Mahi Mahi with the Vera Cruz sauce. The fish was over cooked, and the reason for the 3 stars(my hubby would have given 4) and not a very big piece. The sauce was good and seemed home made, though it was just a little too salty for my taste. I opted for the«seasonal veggies» and no potato, which I often do. They actually gave me more than the normal portion, but seasonal? It was basically frozen Bird’s Eye veggie mix of corn, peas, square cut corn and a few green beans. That being said, at least it wasn’t over cooked. The dinner salads were very fresh and crisp, which is a plus. The Honey Mustard dressing seemed home made as well, but I don’t know if it was for sure, but it was tasty. Overall, would probably return and try something else.

After a long sojourn away, I decided it was time to come here for a Friday AYCE Fish Fry. It is a small place but one that turns out some good food. I began with a very good floury and somewhat creamy small bowl of hot New England Clam Chowder that included many clams, a few carrot pieces, celery, potato chunks, and a good little kick. Shrimp Cocktail was unremarkable with defrosted medium-sized shrimp accompanied by a tame Cocktail Sauce. The fried fish filets served to me with Tartar Sauce were very good and well cooked, but I had to ask for malt vinegar. Unfortunately, the previously frozen Skinny Fries were rather dead. Reorders of fish at first contained 2, and later 3, golden fish filets. Dirty plates were not picked up. Otherwise service was good even though the servers were obviously overtaxed, at least on Fridays. We had to sit at the counter to get quickly seated and fed. Initially the bill had one extra bowl of soup on it. But the error was quickly rectified. Hogs that Diane and I were this day, we each had 4 reorders of fish, and did not leave hungry! 3−½ stars overall!

We ate here the other day as I have heard great things about this place not only that but they do have great breakfast specials M-F from 730AM to 1030AM. Our experience was put off by the customer service of our waiter Joseph. He was rude and had attitude when I was asking him questions about the food and prices. For example, the sign posted out side said breakfast ends at 1030AM but yet inside they offer the pork chop and egg breakfast until 4PM so I asked if they offer any other extended breakfast offers and he rolled his eyes and said no. We place our order including our drinks which was water and 10 – 15 minutes no water and no food. No Joseph either. Finally, we asked one of the friendly and hardworking gals serving other customers if we could please have our water she graciously and immediately brought them out and look there’s Joseph with our food! I asked for wheat toast and a course ended up with my wife’s sour dough toast. Whatever, we made the swap. Time goes by about 15 minutes and no Joseph until he decided to bring us the check then he finally asked us if we needed anything. We leave a $ 2 tip after I seriously wasn’t going to leave any tip and then paid for our meal at the front and went on our way. Breakfast was good at a great price. We will be back but will never allow Joseph to be our waiter again. Nope, we will choose one of the lovely, friendly, helpful and hardworking female waitresses that were happy doing their job and making sure their customers were happy and had everything they needed.
