Luscious Moi came recommended from a friend for my bridal party hair and makeup needs and I am SO glad I chose them!
They were professional, accommodating, and GOOD AT THEIR JOBS!!! Every single bridesmaid and both mothers loved their hair and makeup (when is the last time you heard of THAT happening?!) and by the end of a long day of heat, humidity, and dancing we all still looked just as beautiful as when we left the salon.
Neil and his staff went above and beyond to make sure all the girls were relaxed, well taken care of, and happy with their hair and makeup. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I adore Luscious Moi! The salon is gorgeous, chic and perfectly kept. The owner, Neil, is fabulous, charming and an expert at what he does! I would recommend Luscious Moi to anyone, especially when you need a pick-​me up and want to feel wonderful.

This salon is great. It is in my hometown, and I will drive the two hours from Chicago to get my hair done because I can trust Neil and his staff. I’ve gone there for weddings and regular appointments. The salon has a very modern, pretty design and it feels comfortable. They never put the pressure on you to buy extra products, but they have a nice array of quality stuff from brands that are hard to find in the area. I have been getting comments on my hair because Neil really made it look great. They also have a text messaging system for appointment reminders. hi-​tech for the Illinois Valley!

Made appointments on May 6^th for my daughter and niece to get their hair and makeup done on May24th at 2 o’clock. Show up at 1:45 on the 24^th and the rude receptionist claims she has no appointments for that time. This was supposed to be a special day for my girls it was there very first dance recital. They didn’t even try to make it right. As she claimed earlier there were NO appointments so why not right the wrong and get the girls in instead of saying there was nothing she could do! This place is very unprofessional and rude we will not be back!

This past weekend the salon catered to a large wedding party and exceeded any and all expectations. Not only did they create classic looks for all the bridesmaids, but made the bride feel comfortable and relaxed as she prepared for a long day of photos and an even longer night of dancing. The salon was especially thoughtful as we had three out of town guests unexpectedly decide to get their hair done, and they were made welcome an given time by the stylists (time that the stylists did not have). Because of the 3 unexpected hair styles we were running behind on time and the head stylist offered to drive the remaining 3 back to the Starved Rock Lodge allowing the bride to leave early and begin getting ready. As a spa girl myself, I demand glamourous treatment and the salon went above and beyond to impress. The cups of warm tea and shortbread cookies accompanied by elegant classic décor and a friendly ambiance only enhanced the wedding day. THANK YOU LUSCIOUS MOI FOR AN UN-​FORGETTTABLE EXPERIENCE! PS. If you ever move to Chicago please let me know so I can become a regular client!

My daughter had a updo and makeup for prom this spring, and it was fab! Neal was quick and charming!

I called the salon to see about doing my hair for my wedding along with my bridesmaids. When I called to set up my trial and the actual day I felt like they really cared about me. They said we could bring in music and food or whatever we wanted to make it special for me. We also would have the place to ourselves. I had gone to see them a few times before my wedding and each time I was so happy with the results. The day of my wedding went so smooth there. I absolutely love Alyssa and Neil. They were amazing!!! I would recommend anyone to go there for hair and makeup!!! I also got spray tanned there for my wedding and it was the exact color that I wanted as well!!! They deserve more than 5 stars!!!

This salon is the best in the area. After traveling two hours away for a good style and cut I was sent here by a friend. Upscale, great staff, and good prices.

«Luscious Moi» isn’t just a name, it’s a vibe and an energy that you get walking into the salon. From the super chic aesthetic, to the friendly (and approachable) staff, this place rocks. I work in Chicago a lot, and I am often stopped on the street and at restaurants to be asked which salon I go to. And yes, I really mean often. I do have Neil (the owner) as my stylist, but I would certainly trust anyone that he puts on team with my hair. I’m a Bumble & Bumble fan, so it’s a bonus that LM carries their products. To put it simply — I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

LOVE LOVE LOVE Luscious Moi and Neil! I live in NYC and would choose Neil over ANY high profiled NYC stylist or salon ANYDAY of the week. The salon is fun, classy, trendy, and yet no one acts ‘too cool for school.” Yet another reason I prefer Luscious Moi over my NYC experiences, no snoot but all the cool! I needed to get in earlier than the salon opened and I took the chance to ask if Neil could come in earlier for me. Low and behold, he did! ON A SATURDAY, at 8am. Not too many owners of a salon would do that for you. As a blonde, I get super paranoid about my hair color, but I felt so calm and at east in Neil’s chair. As always, he did an excellent job on my color and got me in and out in time for my bridal shower. To top it off, he showered my new pup with tons of love too! Go check out the salon and ask for Neil!
