I only gave one star because it required it. We came just BEFORE the Sunday lunch rush. The chips were almost empty, the tables were dirty, their veggies were mostly out. They were extremely slow and rude. I thought that the woman in front of us was being difficult, but THESANDWICHGUY was just awful. He REFUSED to serve me a flatbread that wasn’t toasted(I eat them almost everyday for lunch, untoasted) and then when I tried to order another on bread he informed me that’s they’re not good unless they’re toasted. So I gave up and went somewhere else for lunch after waiting over 15 minutes in line. There were only 2 customers in front of me.

I really do like this place but OMG, avoid going here during a home game on Friday nights. Not only is it busy but you’ll get that one parent who brings in her kids, all boys, who decide to ruff house in a busy restaurant. Mom of course is to consume in her cell phone to tell them to cut it out and when they do bump into a table with people trying to eat, she apologize and then quietly tells the boys to cut it out. Boy my Mom would have left the restaurant with my brother and I if we acted like that at that age. Other then that really not a bad place and friendly workers!

I was traveling from Snyder, Texas back home to Austin and was glad to get to a town that had some food options on a Sunday! This subway wasn’t busy but, upon entering you are greeted by a nice blonde girl who welcomes you in. I ordered a Spicy Italian footlong on Flatbread. She engaged me in conversation over my Northern accent and we had some good laughs. She toasted my sub and topped it with veggies and was kind enough to wrap it up even though I was eating in, so I could take the rest with me. I love when people anticipate service like that so, I don’t have to head back up to the counter for togo wrapping and a bag. As I sat there and ate another couple came in and a guy and they treated them with familiarity so, I assume they have a lot of regular locals. I enjoyed my sandwich but, I do miss the days when Subway loaded your sub with toppings and offered the bread cut on top with the triangle to put the toppings in. Somehow the way they used to cut the bread like that made it taste better. My sandwich was ok but, I am giving them 4 stars for the stellar customer service and great attitude of the worker that I encountered! Personable employees make for a happy experience for customers!
