LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place and Paul & Annette!!! I have been going to Paul for 20 years… OMG that sounds like a long time but I have been his client since 1993 and have NEVER went to any one else. Not only are Paul & Annette the coolest, friendliness and best shop in Laguna, their work is phenomenal!!! I have my hair permed & my curls look absolutely natural and Annette is a wiz with hair color. I can not say enough about this shop and the owners, love spending time just chatting with Paul & Annette and admiring Annette’s art… OOOO yeah it is across from Main Beach and when Paul designed the inside he positioned the mirrors so when you sit in the chairs you can admire the view :)

Love this place! Annette does my hair and has it in amazing condition. Fun to watch Paul and his clients all depart looking great. Love the location — what a view and greatly enjoy Annette’s artwork on the walls. Excellent low key and calming salon and I always walk out of there feeling like a million bucks!

I am a college student that has been going to Annette at Paul Brian Hair Design for three years now. Before Annette, I had never been satisfied with any coloring job. She was the first stylist to make my blond highlights look natural and stay beautiful for months as they grew out. She understands color like nobody else!
The salon overlooks laguna beach and is run by Annette and her husband, Paul, who are a joy to spend a few hours with.
The prices are good and the service is exceptional. No matter where I move, I will have to return to Paul Brian Hair Design for every appointment!

I have really difficult hair, it’s dry and frizzy. I’ve had tried many salons over the years but was unable to find one that gave me consistent satisfaction. I even tried to color and trim my hair myself! Then I found Paul Brian Hair Design! I have been so pleased with my color and cuts every time. I recommend them to everyone I know.

Paul and Annette have been cutting and coloring my hair for over 10 years. They have a beautiful location with a panoramic view of Main Beach in Laguna. I agree with everything Janine said — going to PBHD provides not just a reasonably priced hair treatment, but a lively conversation about current events. And they CHOOSE to keep their business small and very personalized.

I have been going to Paul Brian Hair Design for years now. It’s run by a wonderful Laguna couple named Paul and Annette. I have Annette cut and color my hair, and it always looks great and the price is so reasonable! The best thing is that Paul and Annette are fun to hang out – they are smart, funny and progressive. He’s a surfer and she’s an artist. How often do you look forward to having your hair done? These guys are awesome!

Entered Salon as a walk in. Paul Brian the owner was so rude to me that I immediately departed the salon, never even booking an appointment. Its no wonder there are only two chairs in this salon. With his bad attitude I can’t imagine many stylists would want to work in this establishment. There are many other salons in area who offer a friendly welcome and have talented stylists. Stay away from this salon!
