Visiting my daughter at Purdue. Found this place. Food and service is awesome. I had the rigatoni and Katie had the egg plant Parm.

Wow, was not expecting this. Out of town in on business and ordered take out back to the hotel. I thought this was gonna be a knock off Olive Garden, but the service and food quality was wayyy above expectation. Free fresh bread and dipping sauce with take out. Yup. Manager did not put my salad on top of hot pasta(so it would not wilt). Yes again. Next year when I am back in Lafayette I will make sure to stop in for a sit down.

Food was just OK. Place was very busy, which is understandable on a Saturday evening. But the reason for this review was the treatment from our server(Christy). To her credit, she had done a decent job providing service given that she was pretty busy at the bar(where we were sitting). However, before she brought our check, my wife mentioned to her that we had a coupon. At that point, the waitress very rudely took it from my wife’s hand, yelled upsettingly«Michael!», who I assume is the manager, and stormed off. Then for the next minute or so, I watched her throw a fit and rant about the coupon to the other servers. Needless to say my wife and I were very upset about this, and the only other contact we had with the her was when she just dropped the bill on the table(as if to rush us out), and gave us our receipt, giving us a half-heartedly«thank you». Why offer coupons and run promotions if your servers are going to be upset when customers use them. Definitely will not be going back or recommending to others.

Was concerned about several reviews of this place. Took a chance and it paid off. The. food was outstanding as was the service. We don’t live around here but would make the trip again. Ignore the bad reviews as it is worth the chance. Portions are huge and if you go away hungry it is your own fault. Ash was our waiter and did an excellent job.

An Italian restaurant that uses either fake or really cheap mozzarella and expects you to pay $ 10 for a chicken parmesan… The chicken was cooked well but the mozzarella had almost disappeared by the time I got my food. The chicken was served over tasteless and overcooked spaghetti. Believe it or not this wasn’t the worst part. We ordered fried calamari. Obviously frozen, pieces of calamari and chunks of breading clumped together and fried while still frozen… I don’t expect decent sea food here in Lafayette and I could have overlooked this if it weren’t for the fact they were undercook… First and last time I eat from this place. Bread was good though.

I pick this place because I am staying at the hotel next door. I was pleasantly surprised by my entire experience. I was seated quickly on a slow Monday evening. I didn’t even have to look at the menu my waiter suggested the lasagna special. I almost always order what the staff suggest. My iced tea never went dry and even got a free to go iced tea too! My meal came with a huge Caesar salad, nothing too special, it was good. My lasagna was huge, probably 8″ long 4″ wide and 2″ tall. So good! I had to get it to go I couldn’t eat it all. I would recommend Spageddies to anyone in the area, especially if it’s Monday for their lasagna special.

Lived in Lafayette for 10 years but never tried this place. Decided to go on a Saturday at lunch with the buy one get one free coupon. We were seated and given menus. Then we waited. More people were seated after us. Those people were given bread and had their orders taken. We waited about 15 minutes and were never approached by anyone. We decided to leave and take our business elsewhere as we definitely didn’t want to spend hours waiting for lunch. Won’t go back.

The food is atrocious. Maybe it’s because my mom is from Italy. .but this was on parr with Chef Boyardee. The waiter knew it too. joked about it and never did anything to rectify the situation. We ordered desert to maybe make up for the strange orange sauce on my shrimp ravioli. .yeah well i ended up with a weird pink pepto colored raspberry sherbet on top of the cheesecake and stale cannoli.(this was after waiting 20 min for dessert. .i think they were milking the cow or picking the frozen raspberries) in the future if I’m going to pay 120.00 for a meal I’ll find a Carrabas. Frankly McDonalds has better food and service.

Long considered one of the best places to take your(Purdue) date for dinner, Spageddies just didn’t sit right with me. Part of my so-so experience could be attributed to the time of dining(9:30pm on a Saturday). Our waiter – although nice – appeared pretty burnt out, as we were no doubt his last customers at the tail end of a long day. The service was okay until it came very near to their 11pm closing time, so we’re looking to cash out but he was nowhere to be found. My date finally sees him across the restaurant… replenishing the olive oil bottles. Truthfully, it looked more like he was pouring them back and forth(to get them all at equal fill level), but I think he forgot about his last and only customers until I finally flagged him down. Again, he was likely fried from a lengthy shift so I’m willing to cut him a bit of slack. The food quality was fine – I had the salmon and shrimp ravioli, while my girl enjoyed her fishy dish, and we pronounced them both good – but the value was a MAJOR bummer. Everything here is a-la-carte. Everything. So even though we both ordered entrees($ 19+), neither came with soup, a salad or even a choice of veggie. I can’t recall the last time I had Italian where this was the case; I always look forward to the soup/salad course, but there was no way I’d be shelling out an extra $ 4 – 5 per person for that here. For a Carrabba’s knock-off(or is it the other way around?), I was totally underwhelmed. Decent menu items, but mediocre service and astonishingly poor value seal their 3* fate.

TLDR: bad waitress, melted ice cream, dirty utensils, lukewarm food. Decent atmosphere. When we ordered appetizers, the food took a long time to arrive, and when it did, it was cold. When the main course came, it was warm, thankfully. One of my forks had old Alfredo on it. Later, when we ordered dessert, the ice cream we ordered was warm and watery. The lighting and music choice was as good as one could expect though, so plus one star for that.

Their bread is great, but entrees are not always good. Chicken marsala is okay but pizzas are really bad…(maybe I should say disgusting.) Yes, it overprices a little in dinner, but their lunch menu is a steal. It always distributes BOGO coupons to local addresses(inside redplum). Give them a try when you get the coupons. 给3分的原因就是因为有买一赠一的哭胖,非常的值。但是如果没有哭胖确实有点贵,而且味道一般。。 我一个人去吃买一赠一也是蛮拼的,注孤一生的节奏么。。

Chicken parm lunch duo is great. Good chicken parm with a salad or soup for $ 9. Ital wedding soup is just ok. Chix parm is very good.

Really 3.5 stars. Good food, good service. Overpriced(3.99 for a little salad alongside my $ 13 main course?) I came because it was next to my hotel. I probably would not come back if I had to drive at all.

I have been dragged to this place a couple of times. The other Italian place across the street is too busy and gives such poor service, so we have switched to spageddies. Im slightly surprised by the great reviews it has received here. I found it to be mediocre at best. Everything I have ordered has been literally drenched with oil. It also seems overpriced. The pricing was what I would expect at a fine dining restaurant, however spageddies is not fine dining. Spageddies is a place that brings your breadsticks to your table in a paper bag — just like in a fastfood pizzaria. The tables are covered with paper and you’re provided with crayons to draw on the paper. None of that is a problem for me, but the point is: the atmosphere isn’t classy or romantic or special in any way. With that being said, spageddies is not bad. It’s average. If the price didnt come out to over $ 20 per person, I might even say it was good. The thing that ultimately hurts the overall price of the meal is the fact that nothing is included. Most italian places give you free salad or free soup or both. Spageddies’ system treats salad, soup, etc as appetizers that you order and share with the table… and they arent cheap. Again, Spageddies is an average restaurant. I really dont understand how Lafayette can sustain so many mediocre chain restaurants.

Spageddies is perfect places to take your family or friends for lunch or dinner. The restaurant is quite spacious for it seats plenty but you could put in a reservation if you wish. The décor is quite warm and friendly, not fancy but very family friendly. So I’d steer clear if you’re hoping for a fancier, romantic evening dinner location. Lets talk meal and menu. The menu is quite comprehensive with a wide range of pricing options. You don’t have to wait long before a server is coming to plate your table with fresh bread and olive oil, very yummy! If you’re worried about a budget they offer $ 12 meals selection if I remember correctly. I’ve dinned here twice or three times now and was pleased with my experience every time. Better than going to the Olive Garden near by. Their meals can be quite large so expect to need a take home box. The food is good. You surely get the bang for your buck with average service staff.

My friend brought me here because I wanted something new. First visit. Walked in hour before they closed and it was almost empty inside. There was one other table besides us. I ordered a glass of white wine and rushed through their menu. Linguini Pescatore(Sorry for misspelling) was my pick. It was wonderful. Had enough for 3 meals! Server was very nice too. Second visit! While visiting Lafayette few months later, I HAD to stop by here so I begged my friend to take me here again before I left town. Sunday afternoon and just in time for graduation. It was packed! And lots of large group. My server had few tables plus party of 12. She was super attentive throughout the meal(never an empty glass of soda) and very friendly. I got the same dish(seafood pasta) Just as good as the first time. I can’t wait for next visit!

Passing through Lafayette on a road trip lately and we needed a lunch spot. Decided to try this place since it wasn’t a chain, at least not one we’d been to. The menu was good — nice lunch menu with several inexpensive options to choose from. They bring you warm bread and oil right away, which was nice. I had the penna alla vodka and it was delicious. Also, under $ 7 which is pretty great for a very filling lunch. Service was friendly and knowledgable, although my plate was taken away before I was actually finished. I wanted to mop up every last bit of delicious sauce with the bread left on the table, but the waiter grabbed my plate and took off. The restaurant itself is kind of dark, and we were seated in a booth with a large wood shelf dividing us from the next set of booths — it was covered in dust and large dust bunnies… kind of gross, especially considering it was right at eye level. The place could use a good cleaning. Overall, decent food, good prices, bland atmosphere.

I really like the Papa’s Salad here which comes in extra small(which isn’t on the menu), small, and large sizes. The small is a good size for 2 or 3 people to share with other food. The margherita pizza is also good. Our server was very friendly and our food arrived quickly.
