Each time we’ve come for dinner the food has been fresh and delicious. I highly recommend a visit.

Bottom Line: Argo has quality food & service. You can’t go wrong choosing Argo as your next meal. I personally just ordered by phone and they had my dinner made fresh and hot even as they were preparing to close. Delicious and highly recommended.

This place is so good. The girl at the cash register was nice. Their falafel balls are delicious and so is their chicken kebabs. Also, I love the garlic sauce they give us.

I ordered the falafel plate with tzatziki and grape leaves and it was by far the best I’ve had. I was pleasantly surprised that the grape leaves were HUGE. Almost double of what I’m used to getting other places. Their bed of rice is perfect! Will definitely come back again soon! Probably best to go after 3pm since they offer $ 2 off your order.

This place is great! I’ve come here twice this week and tried a few different items. The menu could use brief explanations as to what some of the salads/sides contain but the food I’ve tried has all been excellent. I recommend trying the grape leaves as an appetizer, they were great. I’ll update the review once I try out their delivery

*looks around nervously* I don’t usually do this but… THISPLACEISTHEBESTMEDITERRANEANFOODIVEHADINSOCAL. I got the lamb lule plate with hummus, roasted eggplant, and tomatoes. The savory lamb was warm and moist, and was only made better when accompanied with the fresh vegetable sides. Parking is a little tight, but the walk of a block or two is not bad. The area is definitely welcoming and a great place to digest. The service was really great! They were more than open to describe all the items. All in all, I know I will be going out of my way to make another trip here very soon

Tasty but strange. Went in for lunch to place a to-go order, place was empty and quiet as a tomb(where’s the great middle eastern music man?). Food took over 20 minutes to come out, so I was pretty bummed. But then — BOOM — Chicken Kabob sandwich was a flavor bomb, super good. So good, in fact, that I would go again(but call ahead!)

Been hear twice and 2 times for takeout, the food is fantastic the décor is done nicely with the dining area clean and very comfortable. The Boss Loves there chicken kabob and it is her go to when we eat here, I have had the falafel and the beef kabob and both are great. For a casual dinning restaurant the food and the service are top rate. I give Argo 5 Pigs(dressed in Lamb costumes) and some Tzatziki on the side.

My sister and I got to try this place out together and we really enjoyed it. The staff was really friendly and food was fresh and yummy. I really like the prices but the fountain drink was a over priced in my eyes. I ordered the chicken kabob plate. The hummus was really good, chicken was cooked well, rice was good, the pita chips were good, although a little over salted. I’ll be going back. I would recommend it if you’re looking for more of a relaxed atmosphere and fresh food.

IFIT’S NOTBROKEN, DON’T FIXIT! I was a fan of Sabor a Mi, which was owned by the same people and had great food. I figured I’d try this new place since they did a great job with Mexican food. This place wasn’t good ATALL. We had an eggplant dish that was totally spoiled! The eggplant had this«carbonated» texture you get with rotten produce. It was totally disgusting. I will not be going back.

My wife and I stopped in here for dinner last week. It is a nice little place in downtown la Verne with a solid selection of different Mediterranean dishes. We live in DT La Verne and we are huge fans of that type of food, so we were pretty stoked. The gentleman who helped us was very kind and hospitable. Asked a few questions and he was patient and helpful. The food took a while to come out, but it was worth the wait. Their falafels are done right. They are actually fresh and green on the inside like a falafel should be. They were a little on the dry side, but still better than a lot of places. I had the chicken kabobs, and they were superb. Perfectly seasoned and cooked, super juicy too. Younger a solid portion of rice and your two sides. Cherry on top of the whole visit was the customer service. They brought us out an extra side because they accidentally made the wrong salad. It was actually the side we had asked about, but the name escapes me. Plus, at the end of our meal they gave us some complimentary baklava. That’s how you do business, that’s how you gain customer loyalty. I am pleased to give this place 5 stars. The customer service is outstanding and the food is pretty solid. We will definitely be returning.

This place is owned and operated by the same owners of the previous restaurant that had a Mexican cuisine. So, it was interesting to find out if it would stand up to the Mediterranean cuisine. The decoration looks the same as before with the exceptions of some updated painting on the walls that reflect a Mediterranean feel and of course the new menu and logo. It is clean, friendly and pleasant. They have a TV near the ceiling muted if you are interested in that type of thing. My friend and I had the Chicken Kabob and the Beef Kabob Sandwiches. They come wrapped in a pita with a nice tomato/creamy sauce mixture seasoned very nicely on top. It comes with a side of pita chips that in my opinion were a little too saturated in oil, but tasty. My other friend had the Chicken Lule plate, which tasted like a nice chicken meatloaf, seasoned just right. My other friend had a Chicken Kabob with hummus and salad on the side. The owner/chef was willing to make an accommodation for her being that item was not specifically on the menu as a choice, but she was trying to cut back on carbs, so she needed a specific no carb choice. It was tasty. Overall, the service was great. The food was an 8 out of 10. The average cost was about $ 9.00; although if you are an employee of the University of La Verne they will honor a 10% discount, which was very nice. I agree with an earlier post that the presentation of the food on plastic ware is a little on the cheap side, but doable. I would suggest trying to modify the decorations of the interior to be a little more Mediterranean style because it still feels mid-western in there. I would go back here to eat again. Keep up the good work.

I had the falafel and was glad to see that they make them fresh. Great vegetable color that proves the freshness once I cut into them. My side of humus and tabbouleh was also good. My daughter enjoyed her chicken kabob. Together we paid less than $ 20.00. Nice atmosphere, self-service and kinda cool paintings. They offer beer and wine if that is your thing. I also like that there is no hookah or smoke in my face while I’m eating.
