Gross microwave reheated pizza on melted styrofoam plate yet still cold. My son said it was worse than $ 5 pizza avoid!

This place is located in the food court at The Grossmont Center… their meat lovers calzone is good. I think I liked the crust more than anything.

So sad that ownership changed, I used to go here all the time when I worked in the mall. Pizza now comes out burnt and the pasta helpings are much smaller, plus the guy taking the orders couldn’t be any ruder.

Changed ownership. Ate there twice recently. Now just average mall quality. Will still consider when in mall but no longer my top choice.

Plain little food court spot. Did not satisfy me though. I was craving pizza and garlic bread so bad, and I thought this place would at least be a bit similar tasting to sbarros, but I was wrong. Pepperoni pizza was super bland and so were the garlic bread pieces. I left some of my pizza slice and 1 and ¾ of my bread, I seriously only took a bite. I guess the only plus I see is that they were open for a bit after the mall closed on Sunday… everywhere else was closed by 6, this place was still open at 6:30

The food here is VERY good! You wouldn’t expect such good Italian food from an Indian family but they have it down. Although, I would NOT recommend the pre-cooked pizza. Otherwise, they are friendly, work fast to get your food out to quickly. Recommend if you are in the Grossmont area.

Dante’s is located in the food court of Grossmont Mall in La Mesa. I ordered a 14″ medium pepperoni pizza to go from here on my way home from shopping.( ) I have to say, for a food court pizza, this pizza as very good. The crust was nice and moist and chewy. It certainly was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. It was not thin New York style but it was not to thick as well.( ). The pizza was loaded with cheese and the amount of pepperoni was average. The cheese was very fresh and tasty. The sauce was very good as well, not to sweet nor tangy, just right. The service was excellent. I have to say, next time I am in this mall for what ever reason, I will be returning here for some great eats!

I have a run in the morning, so I thought i’d load up on a little spaghetti!!! This is the only place I know, other than Grandma’s house, that charges under $ 10.00 for a plate of spaghetti, garlic bead roll, and a salad. I didn’t wait more that six minutes for my order. My youngest daughter loves the cheese pizza here! The slice had no grease pooled on top!!! Most of the places I have gotten a slice from are all greasy!!! Not this place!!! The kids meal is under $ 5.00 too… I look foreward to my next visit!!!

The Spinach Lasagna was very cheesy and perfectly cooked. The noodles were soft with body, not overcooked or crunchy in any area, wonderful flavored meat sauce over it, not too spicy, the garlic roll had a nice yeasty flavor. I was amazed at the quality for the price($ 6.50 with tax for a large cut of the lasagna, a garlic roll and drink) and for being in a food court. Yet I knew I shouldn’t be because the same guy owns this as owns the Himalayan restaurant I love. He believes in good food and good service. This place has been here for years and it wouldn’t have been if it didn’t have good food for a good price. The only reason I hadn’t eaten here before is that I like the Hawaiian, Indian and Greek food in the same area and it is so hard to choose. Tonight I just needed soft food due to a toothache and their lasagna was perfect!
