Loved the pie! I’m pretty particular about pie crusts. Most restaurant’s pie crusts are thick and dry. But the Montana Cherry Pie was incredible. I’ll be back to try the Apple Pie ala Jar — which is apple pie and ice cream served in a Mason jar! Which my son said was great!

Visiting from California and staying at the Baymont. Walked over for an early dinner. WOW! Yum to food coma! Daniel the server was on point and awesome. Loaded potato soup is a must have for appetizer. Great loaded hash browns with my T-bone steak. Definitely coming back again!!!

Clean store(star), friendly staff(star! My server, Jay, was awesome), decent food(star). A surprising Shari’s! Go figure. Not perfect– hey, it’s a Shari’s. A 90’s remodel of a 70’s build, 80’s music, and a somewhat frightening menu. But as a Denny’s/Perkins/Coco’s-style diner chain clone, it does a better job than most! Good on ya. If it’s way past the time you should have been home, and you’re tired, hungry and for some reason in Kirkland, you could do a lot worse. I’ll be remembering that it’s there, just in case«just in case» happens again.

Just had a nice dinner here. Food was fresh and service was outstanding. Steven our waiter was great… kind of wasting his talents at Shari’s. I always go in with a «ok, it’s going to be mediocre» thought but was pleased tonight. Their new fish-n-chips are tasty and the chicken bruschetta was great. The spring omelette made me wish I had ordered it too.

It has been quite some time since my family has been to Shari’s. We were regulars with a group of 8 or more at least 3 – 4 times a month. The service got progressively worse, taking a long time to get our food, no refills for extended periods of at all. The final straw was when we were seated at a table that had visibility to the kitchen. My mother in law and I both watched a woman working actually use her fingers to rearrange the food on our plates, lick her fingers and nibble stuff off the edge of the plates, touch the food again with the same fingers, adjust her hair/bangs and touch the food some more. Not only is that not ok morally it is not ok according to any food handlers class taken. We were absolutely mortified when she then tried to serve us those plates of food. We asked for the manager and we explained the issue, hoping for some sort of explanation or reprimand to the staff member. There was nothing but we were offered a few slices of free pie. We thought maybe this was a fluke so we went again on a different day and the same woman that licked her fingers then touched our food had not been reprimanded, she was actually working as the shift manager. I hope things have changed but I won’t be going back to find out.

This place is bad. What makes it worse is that this Shari’s is next to a genuine, 5-Star breakfast spot named Brown Bag Café. I’m sitting here typing this, waiting for 45 minutes in a half empty restaurant for eggs and hash browns. Of the 3 us at the table, 2 of our water glasses had lipstick on them. We haven’t been checked on once since our orders were taken, and we waited 10 minutes to even be acknowledged at the door. Unless you’re hungover and REALLY want Pie, skip this place altogether, and go next door to a quality, local place. Its worth the wait and you get a MUCH better value in food and service.

My expectations going in here were pretty low, and amazingly, I was still disappointed. The French dip sandwich was so bad I couldn’t finish it. The velvet chocolate silk pie was also terrible. The service was really slow. At least the waiter was friendly. I really wanted to give these guys a better rating for being open 24 hours(huge plus for a night owl like me), but then I realized it doesn’t matter when they’re open if the food is so bad you can’t even eat it.

This place has one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Trail Boss. Every shari’s I go to, I always ask to swap the ham for another patty, and every Shari’s I go to, they always do it. ALWAYS! All except this one. I was blown away. This burger is the main reason I come here, usually the only reason. Massive disappointment, Kirkland. Massive. p. s. I didn’t eat here, so I cant really give one star, and I feel I have to cancel out the joke one star review some children left about a bandaid.

I stayed at the hotel basically in their parking lot. No matter the time of day I came the staff seemed to be happy . It’s pretty much your basic diner food with a huge selection of pies. They even do pie shakes ! There’s options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Depending on the time of day you come, they offer breakfast and lunch specials . They also do daily soup specials . Unlike most diners, they offer healthy options and give you the calories. All the food tasted well prepared and put together nicely.

We had a poor experience with the food, but the manager and our lovely waitress Kathleen fixed it for us. :) thank you for fixing our issues!

Decent service from wait staff, tho’ manager very slow to seat me. Seemed to be making himself busy with coffee filters. Omelettes downsized, barely filling, and not even fully described on menu. Seems like corporate is trying to run this chain out of business.

This place is really weird. It has a diner feel but tries to look nicer aesthetically. All of the plates and cups are dirty, though, so it kind of misses the mark. I don’t think I would order anything more than a pie here. Any of the food I saw other patrons eat, just looked unappetizing. I came here at 12:30 a.m. on a Friday and it was packed thus our waiter was a bit ditzy. He kept coming back with the wrong order and when we were up to the fourth mistake, I just went up to the front and asked if we could change our order to go. Maybe Shari should hire more people for the late night rush?

I’ve been to this specific location a few times already since it’s just down the street from my home. Service has been very attentive and fairly quick the times I’ve been here, too. Parking is super easy in their lot, it’s just behind the the Brown Bag café and the driveway next to here is where you drive in as well to get to Shari’s. I usually only ever get the eggs Benedict with a side of fruit and its consistently delicious every single time. Drinks are always filled and the server each time checks on us just enough. Everyone who I go with here always enjoys their food as well. It’s an affordable and convenient location and I’ll keep coming here for a quiet little dinner out when I’m in need.

I’ll start out with the negatives! First off the server started out with a little attitude. Not sure if she was just busy or it’s cause we had a youngling in the group. Service seemed a little slow. And when she took our orders I noticed she didn’t write anything down so the no lettuce on my burger request went unnoticed as my suspicions were confirmed when I saw green on my burger. My friend ordered a different burger and apparently got a little upset stomach from it. I did not have this issue, my burger was actually pretty good. Now time to end on the good notes! As we talked to our server more she brightened up and by the end of the meal I can honestly say we got solid service. My burger was pretty good despite the unwanted lettuce(easy to remove) and everyone except my friend was very satisfied overall. This place is always open. And they also have a decently extensive pie menu! I’ll probably return soon.

I haven’t been to a Sharis in years because I don’t ever remember being impressed. Today I was impressed, the all American panini, and herb fries were delicious. Hilary our waitress was very friendly, fast, and efficient. We’d come back for sure.

I love Shari’s! Although I have never dined in here, I have ordered takeout many times. They are very quick! When I tried to order takeout tonight though, the online system wasn’t working but I called and received very courteous help from Daniel. Of course, it’s Shari’s not gourmet food, but so great for a lazy night when nothing else is open and J in the B sounds way too repulsive. I ordered a club sandwich on rye with a caesar side. The restaurant is just down the street from my house so I drove over about 5 minutes after I called. When I arrived, I paid, then Daniel went to prepare my caesar just so it was fresh for me! This place has always been good to me and prompt, and yes perfect diner food!

If I could rate this 0 stars, I would. The food was cold, the waiter gave me disgusted looks every time I asked for anything. It took them over 45 minutes to deliver our cold food — one waffle and one cinnamon roll. The butter was gross, whip cream was hardly whipped, and strawberries were canned. We had to wait 20 minutes for a table for 2, when at least 5 tables were very obviously open. I wouldn’t eat free food here if I was starving to death. Avoid this place at all costs.

We came here at 10:00PM on a Sunday night. It was a little busy. We still got seated fairly quickly though. The waitress took a little while to get to us but our water and food came very fast afterwards. The breakfast sampler was surprisingly good. The hash browns were seasoned well, sausage was meaty and juicy, eggs were delicious, bacon was crisp, and pancakes were fluffy. It was decent portion for the price. For dessert we had a slice of velvet chocolate silk pie. Presentation was a little off, but still looked pretty nice. The pie had a surprisingly rich flavor, despite looking deceptively light. We also got the apple pie in a jar dessert thing. It’s a mug/jar that comes with apple pie mixed with ice cream. It was SUPERGOOD and a super genius idea. I can’t believe more foods/desserts aren’t served in mugs/jars. Overall I was pretty satisfied with Shari’s.

I so badly wanted to give Shari’s 5 stars. Within the first 10 minutes, Shari’s was absolutely a 5 star restaurant. The hostess and waitress were very friendly and prompt. Not only did we get our coffee, but we also got a small carafe so that we don’t need to wait for refills. Unfortunatley, we our cinnamon roll was brought out, Shari’s lost a star. The cinnamon roll was very, very, very dry. I felt like it was drenched in butter and overly melted frosting to hide the dryness. Didn’t work. We ordered the meat lovers platter, which was absolutely delicious. The only issue was that the portion was tiny, especially for the price. The french toast that came with it was pathetic. I appreciate Shari’s for the service and the atmosphere. I do want to go back simply because I want to try every single pie.

Very friendly staff. Very busy but it was a Sunday afternoon so probably standard. Eggs are good, quick, attentive staff. No complaints. Good food made quickly and not very expensive. Sure why not?! **try the pies… Yummy!
