There’s a new HH on Sunday. 3−10pm, 2.50 wells and pints of Goose Island(budweiser) IPA. Happy to see a bar sell Goose IPA for what its actually worth and not pretend its some craft beer. Food got more expensive(Sliders were already overpriced) and portions remained the same. Wish the taplist would rotate from time to time. It list(and the beer I’m sure) gets old pretty fast.

Sliders are very good as well as most of the food here, despite a very limited menu. They have a pretty good happy hour and over 10 beers on tap.

I have been here three times and had good experiences every time. The drinks are reasonably priced and the service is friendly and prompt. I’ve only ordered fries, but they were the perfect level of crispy/salted, and they gave a generous serving. I really like that Bishop’s doesn’t get overly crowded and that it is quiet enough to have a conversation with your friends!

I give this joint 3 stars because the juke box ripped me off and the pool tables are crooked which allowed my cocky husband to think he’s better than me at pool. I’ll still go back because it’s still a pretty chill place and drink prices aren’t jacked up.

If you live in Juanita, Bishops its a must. The most important part of the service industry is the people. The bartenders/servers here are polite and provide great attention to their customers. Drinks are appropriately priced for a neighborhood bar. I have not tried the food but taking a peak into the kitchen it looked very clean! I always respect a clean kept kitchen. Never overcrowded. Some people like a packed bar, thats fair. But here, you can get a pool table, buck hunter, watch football, and still get great service from the staff. What more could you ask for in a neighborhood bar?! In Juanita there are basically two bars at this caliber. Bishops and Juanita Pub. Both are legacy status. Both offer different atmospheres. Bishops is the better bar in my opinion, price, quality, staff, all of the above. Let’s support Bishops.

What is going on? Usually great place but 2nd time in a couple months that the place has been closed with no advance notice . There were at least a dozen regulars that came down to find the door locked– not even a sign to explain the situation. Normally a great place between Joni and Andi but what is happening with the Sunday help?

Did not try any of the food but this is a very easy walk from the apartment and we couldn’t resist ducking in. They have a good variety of beers on tap and even cider. The cider was excellent. Very pale in color, dry, flavored subtly with ginger. It was a lot like drinking champagne. We also shared the Deyschennes Black Butte Porter. Very nice as well, although I liked this better than my husband did. Very friendly and quick service although we came at a time when the bar was not crowded.

This place is awesome! Their food is pretty good, especially I love their potato gnocchi, but I go there for their Scotch ale and I plan to keep going until they have it on tap.

This is one of my favorite places in Kirkland. It’s divey dive bar at it’s best. It has great greasy bar food and they are known for their excellent burgers. The crowd here is more mature and really chill, which is a nice retreat from the typical Kirkland bar scene. There are darts, pool tables, some arcade games. the usual bar stuff. Oddly enough, they don’t have chess available to play even though it is named for the chess piece. Service is relatively good. There is usually 1 person working the bar along with table service, so it can get slow when it’s busy. Lot’s of parking is available and it’s right on a bus-line if driving is no longer an option for you after your visit. :) If you find yourself in Juanita any time soon, stop in and show this place some love.

A classic dive bar with a nice selection of beer. Not too crowded or loud on the weekend, and service at the bar was prompt. Good for groups that want to play pool and be able to have conversations without yelling.

Walked in around 11pm and immediately felt a sleepy, low energy vibe. It was warm, dark and had boring music playing. But they had Golden Tee there so we wanted to stick around. Had a lot of money to spend and a reason to celebrate. Stood at the bar for close to 10 minutes with no one even looking at us. Felt like they ignored us on purpose because the bar flow is set up to where they can do that. Someone else came around the other side and was immediately greeted and handed a beer. We left after that. Headed to Juanita Pub which we wanted to avoid but the vibe. the feeling of life actually being lived, was quite a change of atmosphere. Maybe it was bad timing on our part but first impressions are hard to forget. Won’t return.

This is an awesome dive bar. The bartenders and cooks are fantastic and so friendly! My partner and I go there 2 – 5 times a week… we may be considered regulars. On the inside, there are multiple TVs tuned into sporting events, but the likelihood of you hearing the game is zero to nil. There is no surround sound to actually hear the games! The owner just turns up one TV so you can barely hear the games IF the bar is quiet. While I love and adore this bar and its staff, the owner is really only worried about the younger crowd and if it is really busy, he only focuses on the big spenders/tables that will bring him money. 9⁄10 will come again for the staff. And only the staff.

Came here late night for a friend’s birthday. This place isn’t your average dine-in place, so to get food, you’d have to go find your servers or ask the bartenders. The place is very spacey, but the spacing between the tables and the mini games are not. We kept getting bumped into and often were asked to «move for a second»

This is the perfect hole in the wall, dive bar. It’s almost hidden as it is located in a strip mall across the street from the main town center. This only adds to the charm. The inside has lots of seating and bar games. The drinks are good and priced well below competitors. The food didn’t look that great, but I suspect it’s typical bar food.

My gf and I have been to Bishop’s on a few occasions, but I went alone on this particular night as the power was out at my place and I wanted some dinner. I ordered a hamburger and it was what one would expect from a bar; nothing overly inspiring, but plenty good. My only complaint was that there was too much lettuce on it. What I thought was very cool was when the cook came out of the kitchen to ask me how my burger was and took the«too much lettuce» comment for what it was: constructive criticism. I’m looking forward to going back.

Ok, have been avoiding this place for a while because of the Unilocal rating, but wandered in today out of curiosity. Lemme just say, this is the very definition of serendipity. This place is amazing, super laid back, super chill, great feel, comfortable old world pub atmosphere, great pool table, darts, and golden tee, and an awesome bartender. On my second pint now($ 3.25 daily deals, today is the Maritime Pale Ale), and all I keep asking myself is, «What took me so long to finally come in here?!» Definitely new local favorite for me and my wife, and glad to finally find a good spot to unwind after a hard day’s work.

Stopped by with a small group on a Thursday evening, and had a pretty good night! The place was pretty quiet and not very busy, so it was easy to talk and hear each other. I was still able to hear the music, though… I know this because I remember being surprised when I realized they were playing one of the new Taylor Swift songs. Everyone seemed happy with their food, but I only tried the cod & chips. The fish was fantastic! Fries were good. The salad was super simple and I was glad they were able to get me a couple lemon slices instead of standard dressing. Not sure why I got a standard side salad instead of the coleslaw I was expecting, but I was pretty happy with my meal. I wasn’t thrilled by the beer menu because the only beers that appealed to me were the Widmer hefeweizen and PBR… but they did have Mac & Jacks and an interesting sounding porter, so I believe others were happy. Was I blown away? No… but I think it’s a fine neighborhood pub, and it was a good place to meet up with about six people. I didn’t interact with the waitress/bartender much, but she definitely gets points(or something like that) for making it super easy for us to split the bill(by starting separate tabs as people arrived)!

Went here last night for the first time for my bro-in-laws surprise birthday party. It was very chill! Clean, nice open layout. Awesome bartender/server Karen who kicked butt all over the place. She came to our table anytime a new person or group of people joined the party. She kept our checks straight & was VERY pleasant! We shared some quesadillas & nachos around our table. Hubby & I needed a little more grub to go with the suds. I had the wings.(Monday night special) Just alright. Nothing to write home about, but nothing really wrong with them other than they were a little small & I got a whole 3 pieces of celery. Hubby had the sliders. Again nothing to write home about. Kinda small serving of fries with the sliders. Don’t think I would order either one next time. Would like to try the fish & chips or the chicken tenders. So if you’re in the Juanita area of Kirkland around happy hour time & could go for a beer & some snacks this is a definite go to place.
