Mondo’s Espresso

This location, though seems like it wouldn’t be busy, is often times one of the longest waits for coffee I’ve ever experienced, they seem to run out of flavors pretty often and twice they’ve forgotten to make my drink with soy after I asked to verify. Not my favorite coffee stand, but it’s alright when you don’t wanna head over the freeway for something else.

I’ve been coming here for years and I recommend it to my own customers! I always ordered complicated coffee and they are so accommodating and always smiling! Love the girls that work here! Today I had the absolute best coffee I’ve had in a long time! Thank you!

Terrible coffee, apathetic staff, and way overpriced considering the lack of quality. My coffee tasted like that powdered instant stuff, and had wayyy too much syrup in it.
The barista barely said two words to me aside from taking my order.
That and they don’t serve drip coffee which is lame.
Once was enough. I highly doubt I’ll be back.

VERY FRIENDLY baristas! Hate having to give a bad review when the people running the place seem so genuine, but unfortunately that was the only positive part of the experience. The coffee just isn’t good. I ordered an iced mocha and it had a really strange, off flavor. Tasted like old chocolate milk, and I even ordered an extra shot. I didn’t even want to drink it. Sorry Mondo, probably won’t be back.

Not the best coffee stand out there that is for sure.
The location was out of carmel sauce on my visit and out of 2 of the sandwich options on the menu. The owner? stated she just got back from vacation and was trying to get things in the shop back together. One of the bad things if you are a small business owner I guess, go on vacation and come back to find several issues present. This I can look over though.
What is sad though is during my entire visit, the owner (she kept saying my stand) spent time talking to a lady at the other side of the window and did not even ask how my day was. She did not walk over to my window to ask for my order and instead shouted everything from the drink prep area. Part of paying the expensive prices of coffee is the service and atmosphere of the shop, this location provides neither.
With so many coffee choices in the area, why would I ever go back and give this business owner my hard earned money. $ 5 dollars for 2 shots of espresso, some salted carmel syrup (not sauce, the liquid pump stuff), 16 ozs of milk and some ice is simply not worth it.

Great lattes. They do not burn the coffee. Good prices and friendly staff. Have tried the bagels (they are from Blazing Bagels).

Love this place! Coffee is really good, the service is fast and the girls are always so nice and friendly, and this is also one of the one only place I know of that offers white coffee!

Love the cream cheese polish dog with onions and sauerkraut the girls are nice and quick… good flavored red bull… thanks…always a good quick lunch

Being new to Seattle, I’m still astounded at how many places there are to get coffee. Even the laundromat by my houses has espesso. Instead of going to Starbucks for my morning coffee, I decided to stop by here for my morning fix, and was very happy I did. The iced americano I had, which the barista recommended, was way better than what I usually get.
Even over my very loud car (I should probably Unilocal a mechanic soon) the barista was very friendly and asked me about my day, which I wasn’t expecting since it was a drive through coffee shop. The Totem Lake Mall is essentially dead, except for Trader Joe’s and this place, and both usually have a line. This will be my new stop before work.
