Macroons — Delicious. Very good quality. Employees — Lovely. Friendly. Owner — A bit snooty as we met her once and didn’t really like the way that she was treating her employees. That being said, just like the name implies. Yum, yum, yum!!! We try not to pass up an opportunity to stop by and grab a few macroons when we can.

I wasn’t really a fan of macaroons until I tried these. These are yummy treats. Great selection and gift ideas. Favorite flavors was the cereal one, vanilla, strawberry, Oreo, chocolate geez they were all so yummy. Although the lavender one was just okay. Cost for one $ 2

One of our most memorable sweet experiences when we lived in Portland was getting chocolate macarons from Ken’s Artisan Bakery. When we moved away, although my waistline rejoiced I knew I was going to miss them… We have had good macarons at Bakery Nouveau and other local spots but nothing ever came close to us as Ken’s until we tried Lady Yum’s. Their flavors are so natural and the sweetness is so well balanced – the pistachio, chocolate, toffee, and strawberry are among my favorites.

This place is great, quality macaroons, gluten-free, great service. They’re popular and often busy. But the lovely ladies that work there will get you your box of macaroons quickly and efficiently.

Hands down, the BEST macarons in Seattle! Seriously… each time I go into Kirkland. My first initial thought is, I have to go to Lady Yum! I’m not even joking! It’s gotten to where whenever I go workout across the street, I hop into Lady Yum right beforehand so I can have a «treat» for myself as a reward after my workout. :D My favorites are their maple bacon, The Shindig(fruity pebbles), and Toffee Tent. I don’t even mind that they’re $ 2 each, I mean they can take all of my money for all I care. haha. I rather be happy eating Lady Yum macarons! :)

A friend gifted me with a box of Lady Yum macarons so I had to stop by when I had a chance to be in downtown Kirkland. I love this place! The store is warm and inviting with booth seating against the walls, mini chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, a huge glass display counter where you can place your order and shelves filled with bottles of sparkling wine, candles, syrups and small gift items. Aside from macarons, they also serve wine, chilled beverages and light snacks. Now on to the macarons… sweet meringue-based confection made with egg white, icing sugar, granulated sugar filled with ganache, buttercream or jam. I have had many a macaron and must admit, Lady Yum is up there amongst the best ones I have tasted. I look for that smooth outside with a nice crunch and a smooth and firm filling between cookies. Of course, Lady Yum offers over twenty signature, seasonal and monthly flavors on a daily basis, but I do have my favorites — lemon, lychee and honey lavander. If you like the more traditional flavors, they have strawberry, cookies n cream, toasted coconut and raspberry to name a few. Now who would have thought this tiny confection that two Carmelite nuns baked and sold while seeking asylum during the French Revolution would find a home in Kirkland?

At $ 2 each these suckers are expensive! But they are so worth it!!! After years of trying SO many macarons from different shops I can say that the search for the best macarons is over. I love Lady Yum SO much. They’re pricey and the location is super far for me(I live in South Seattle), but it really is all worth it when you take a bite of all their deliciousness. The flavors have depth, the cookies have just enough height and chewiness while maintaining a perfectly shell-like crust. I love that some of the fillings alternate from being creamy or gel-like fillings. Beautifully crafted with delicious flavor. Also, I can’t forget to mention how picture perfect the shop is inside. When ordering 10, 15, or 25, they can be placed in cute little boxes. They make the perfect gift(*hint… somebody?*). You need to try: Raspberry Chardonnay Passionfruit Lychee Toffee Honestly, I love almost all the flavors I’ve tried, but the ones listed here are a MUST!!!

Nice looking macaroons and nice selection! This place had macaroons full stock(or so it seemed) late in the day! So of course I enjoyed that. Why, you ask? More choices to choose from, duh. The lady got the 10 pack for $ 20. Sour apple, Samoa, Choco Hazelnut Marshmellow, Raspberry Chardonnay, Lemon, Apricot Amaretto, The Shindig(has fruity pebbles on it), Toffee, S’mores, and Lychee were our choices. Tried about half so far, and so far so good! Nice little spot as well.

Lady Yum is just so adorable! They serve champagne, they serve macaroons… what else can I say? This place is delicious. It just needs a comfy couch and some blankets and then I’d never want to leave. Sweet place to end the night or in the words of the Lady Yum herself… «This first location is… a place where they can go to escape, to be whoever they want to be, to sip champagne at noon on a Wednesday, eat fancy cookies, and pretend they are in Paris.»

Lady Yum makes me go dumb! I’m not much of a macaron fanatic, but this place totally converted me into creating a mac-diction! This cute little shop is located near the Kirkland Waterfront and is decorated beautifully. The workers are always so polite, patient and informative, especially about their sweet treats! My favorite thing to get here is the Crunchberry, which is essentially the fruity pebbles mac! It’s so freakin’ delicious but sometimes I feel bad devouring it because it’s just so dang cute! I also love the honey lavender flavor, but another flavor that took me by surprise was the tigers blood! I’m not a fan of coconut flavored items, but this one was just too good to pass up! Make sure to check this cute place out whenever you head up to Kirkland! :)

So I am super impressed with Lady Yum! I first heard of them when a vendor of my company sent them to us as a gift. The macaroons were a hit and everyone loved them! Since they were so good, I decided to go back on a weekend and get some more just for myself! My sister and I walked into the shop and I was in love! Walls lined with champagne, a case full of delicious macaroons and the cutest décor and seating areas! I got a pack of 10 macaroons and tried out multiple flavored. We ended up talking with a lady, who ended up being the owner, and I told her I had a vendor send us her macaroons and she immediately remembered the order and my company! She said they don’t even make deliveries but decided to make a special exception. So wonderful! I absolutely love the maple bacon macaroons and basically every other flavor I got! The owner also told us on Tuesdays they have unlimited champagne and are open until 10 pm(every night). I guess I’ve found the new place I will be spending my summer night!

I have no words. But I’ll find some. Walking into this store is like walking into a magazine layout. A super fancy magazine. Chandeliers and shabby chic and rustic shelving and I kind of want to work here. I grew up on the Eastside. I don’t expect much from employees here because I know better. The woman behind the counter here was DELIGHTFUL. She was super patient with me while I took photos and wrote down the flavors I purchased and she made sure I had the right ones written down. Then the macarons. OMG. I bought ten but we have only been able to bring ourselves to eat two. The salted caramel, with Jacobson Salt was the first we tried. The caramel wasn’t too chewy or sticky and was JUST salty enough and the macaron was perfect(the right amount of airy and chewy with a great foot on each of the halves). The espresso was delightful. Like a doppio, without too much of a bite. The cream in the middle was melted(my fault, I had the heat jacked up in the car), so I got to lick my fingers(which I never do because I think it’s gross). Kudos to the mind behind this shop. I will definitely be back!

Dedicated macaroon shop. How can this not be a must try? No need to go into detail about how just awesome this place is but here are some tips: 1. Go at night and grab a glass of bubbly. This place serves champagne and whats more French than macaroons and champagne? 2. Get free macaroons at night. They only display undamaged macaroons so ask the guy to hook you up with some free flawed ones. 3. Take photos. The décor is pretty redonk. They pretty much went all out in the theme of this joint. GUAPPROVED!

Lady Yum = YUMYUMINMYTUMTUM Macarons are my favorite sweet treat and these people know how to do it right. Perfectly soft and chewy… plus they rotate their flavors every so often and they all are delicious! Their toasted coconut ones are certainly a fave. The shop is small and super cute. You can easily come in and grab something to-go or grab yourself a glass of wine and devour these little delectable treats in one sitting. I know I can. Living only a couple miles away from this place can be dangerous! Highly recommend stopping in.

Ridiculously delicious and sinfully good. I purchased a 10 pack and had to hide them after eating 5… they are that addictive! Cute little shop and they said they were opening another store in Seattle. As long as this store stays put, I’m happy. Next time I’m heading over to a friends, I’ll definitely pick some up as a perfect gift. And of course, I’ll eat a few myself.

These macarons are consistently ridiculously delicious. They have a huge variety of flavors, be sure to choose many different kinds to try and share. The actual shop is very cute and quaint as well. They sell candles, salts, caramels and other little things — most of which seemed to be by local companies. Definitely try the salted caramel!

The food: The macarons were wonderful. We got the salted caramel(apparently the most popular flavor here), the chocolate, the gingerbread, and the passion fruit. They were flavorful and not overly sweet. The macarons were a bit chewy(good if you like chewy macarons) and a good, light snack. They have a good variety of flavors and some cutely decorated Seahawks ones. They don’t have all the flavors they list on their website, but the staples(ie: chocolate/salted caramel/lemon/etc) are always there. So if you’re looking for a specific seasonal flavor, I would call first. Lady Yum also lets you order in boxes, to-go. The atmosphere: Service was great as well. The lady who worked there was helpful and gave us great recommendations. There’s a couple of places to sit and enjoy your macarons. They also have a few wine/champagne and coffee selections as well. The interior of this place is very cute – it’s a great place to grab some macarons with friends and chat!

I am not a huge macaron person but I’ve experience Laduree before. Here’s what I shared with my friend: Sugar Plum Fairy — this one was neither amazing nor horrible. Raspberry Champagne — my friend’s favorite. There’s a little bit of rasberry jam right in the middle which was a fun surprise Oatmeal — meh. Something weird about this one. Wasn’t really oatmeal. Maybe nuts? Candy Cane — a close favorite. Tasted like Christmas in my mouth Blackberry Lime Vanilla — my favorite. Loved the citrus vanilla blend. Raw Almond Nutella — no nutella flavor whatsover. Tasted like grocery store chocolate frosting. Overall I found all the macarons to have an almost overwhelming butter taste. Is this normal? Maybe I’m just not a macaron person! Service was excellent. Very attentive and bubbly staff

I love this place. It seems to be getting more popular with my friend group since I see more posts from here. I live down the street from Lady Yum, and it’s hard to resist to come here every day. The flavors are unique, atmosphere is relaxed and chill, and the service is impeccable. On Tuesdays there’s unlimited champagne for $ 15!!! You can add flavors to it too, so you’ll easily get your moneys worth if you try all the flavors.

Though I’m not a huge fan of macarons, I wanted to treat my fiancé to one of his favorite sweets. Knowing Lady Yum was just a few minutes away, I drove over. Parking is pretty simple in Downtown Kirkland during a weekday afternoon, so it wasn’t too difficult to find. If you don’t care to look for parking, there’s also a paid parking lot across the street. I walked into Lady Yum and it felt just like any sweet shop. There were goodies going into the entrance, a few seats, and a glass counter full of macarons. To the right, there were miscellaneous goodies ranging from patterned napkins to candles to chocolate and so forth. The macaron flavors all sounded really good, but the best tasting one of the 15 I purchased was the raspberry chardonnay. All the others were either too artificial in taste(especially the fruit ones), too sweet, or didn’t taste anything like the flavor it portrayed. It never hurts to try them at the store first so you don’t wind up with ones you dislike. Their website features both the ongoing and seasonal flavors, so if you want something specific, it’s best to call to order.
