Omdelicious This was our first stop after arriving in town famished, and what a meal it was. Delighted to see a tempeh wrap on the menu and my companion ordered the chicken salad wrap. Both we thought were amazing. Turns out, this was the best meal of the 2-day trip! Unpretentious, friendly service and a great selection of both prepared meals to take with you and ingredients for a meal in. I only wish we had stopped here a second time during our short trip, but hopefully we’ll be back again for a repeat performance!

Inspirational! That’s the word that comes to mind when thinking about this place. From their mission & message to their community to their customer service and obviously the food… Date & thyme has it all… its def a local spot that has worldly aspects. I would call it a destination! They have everything, juices, smoothies, a small market and of coarse breakfast/lunch menu. Next time your down in key west. Make it a point to check this place out, I’m sure you will love it as much as I do. P. S they have a little family of chickens running around, love that!

Best healthy food source in Key West! My husband and I just vacationed for a long wknd in Key West, from Seattle. Hailing from Seattle, naturally, we are foodies and are used to amazing produce, locally sourced ingredients and healthy options; so the food in Key west was a struggle… Until we found Date & Thyme! We ended up coming back every morning. We tried both locations; both are lovely for different reasons. The food is healthy, fresh and tasty. We tried the bowls, smoothies and lattes for breakfast and picked up ingredients to-go for picnic lunches from the market. All fabulous! The staff was also so friendly and offered good local recommendations for dinner. I’m so glad we found date and thyme; it was key to enjoying our time in Key West.

This place offers a variety of very healthy foods which I really enjoy. Although they offer groceries, theres a very limited selection so this wouldn’t be the place for generic grocery shopping. I also dined here and thought the menu offered very delicious items. I decided to settle with the pesto garden wrap. Honestly it was just okay… it felt like a bunch of vegetables were just stuffed into a wrap. As soon as I picked it up, everything fell out. The highlight was the delicious pesto sauce. My other guest ordered the paleo plate and said it tasted quite good. I tasted the kale and it was steamed perfectly and the pesto was the perfect touch. Although I’m not wild about this place, I would definitely go back. Their smoothies look heavenly!

I am trying so hard to love this place because I like the idea of it, plus there are not too many healthy options in Key West. Not yet at least… I live in the area and it would be my go to spot if it wasn’t for the employees who work there. They are rude most of the times and often aggravated if you have a question. It seems super hard for them to be polite(I’m not even expecting a smile)! Please guys loose the attitude and try to work on being a bit nicer.

Date and Thyme is a kind of breakfast/grocery/juice and smoothie place. It’s pretty good and not too expensive. There is outdoor seating and chickens were wandering around the whole time we were there.

Really good! Very fresh. On the pricey side but you definitely get what you pay for in quality. We had a delicious açai bowl and a breakfast wrap. My husband loved that his wrap was not greasy and had a good mix of greens and eggs. We would recommend if you are looking for clean eats.

Awesome little spot in the old downtown of Key West. It’s both an organic grocery store and a brunch place. Most of the dishes are vegetarian but there are also a few options with chicken and tuna(wraps, sandwiches). Their salads are very fresh with lots of super grains and kale — you see what I mean. Anyway I like that thing. Portions are actually feeling too. Order at the counter and then sit on their charming little outdoor patio until they call your name. Nice smoothies selection. No booze or beer /wine. Great place for breakfast, brunch or a snack.

Very good vegan and meat option deli style. Excellent juice/smoothie bar. The staff is excellent! The half wraps are big!

It’s pretty pricey but the drinks are organic so I’ll give them that. I liked my drink. Wouldn’t go again because it was so expensive(I don’t really want to shell out a 20 for just 2 small drinks) but it was tasty

The spicy tempeh wrap is DELICIOUS! Great folks working there, and a nice menu. I’ll be back tomorrow.

The best compliment is to recommend to family and friends, I wouldn’t suggest this to even a stranger. Hard core ingredients for a hard core price. One cup of mango that tasted like kale and anyone that tastes kale would know it’s not something that tastes remotely good. Good for you but not good alone. yuk… I have no idea even if they put strawberries and banana in the other one because I couldn’t get past the power particles that never blended. I understand we’re on an island but their prices are unacceptable. I just paid 14.00 for a drink that I threw out. Never again. Do yourself a favor, don’t go. Even the staff sucked, Sorry… I don’t know why these people are even open. …and Unilocal it’s more than $$.

Healthy delicious food and friendly servers who seem genuinely interested in you. Food is very fresh and well prepared. Try the paleo plate and a fresh juice combo of your choice. Casual outdoor seating and some Key West characters for people watching.

Really great little place! If you’re visiting on vacation and want to keep up a healthy lifestyle, visit this place. I had a wonderful green juice with kale, lemon, celery, and cucumber. Also, if you need any healthy snacks or supplements they have that too. I was coming down with a cold and looking for Apple cider vinegar, and I was happy to see it on the shelf. I will be back!

The acai granola bowl and my sisters GF breakfast bagel were pretty good! She says the cream cheese tastes nothing like cream cheese. I ordered the Azteca for a coffee. Since I drink green chili beers and Mexican coffees at home, heat did not worry me. Closing your throat heat that makes me unable to swallow, did! She told me this is the way we are made and switched me down to a vanilla latte with coconut milk. That’s fine too. It takes a lot to get 4 and 5 stars from me, but overall pretty good.

I hate to be a bitch but i feel fleeced. Don’t get the acai bowl. It’s not an acai bowl. It’s $ 12 granola with a little frozen smoothie on top. Note to restaurant: look up acai bowl recipes. Everyone else seemed happy though!

This is why poor people are fat. Healthy food is for the privileged fools who can afford to pay $ 12+ dollars for a dixie cup of Ninja®‘d vegetables. Seriously, you have got to be kidding me. You’ll walk out of there $ 50+ lighter to get your family of 4 about 24oz of what is basically V8 without the salt. Not only that, but you get to deal with the snotty/crabby staff who for good reason have zero respect for their customers. My young Polish wife got the«Green Immunity» because they were out of beets and so couldn’t get the daily detox. There was so much garlic in it she could only drink about ¼. The rest of my family attempted to drink some but were nobody could meet the challenge. Anyway, screw this place. I’m not going back. They’ve already got nearly $ 100 of my hard earned money. Next time I’ll buy a Ninja and go to the farmers market and be set for life.

My wife and I walked here for breakfast while staying in Key West, it’s such a great little spot! I had a bagel with cashew nut cheese, avocado and tomato and she had the one with peanut butter and mixed seeds. She also got a peanut butter cup smoothie and I had a fresh juice. They have a nice outdoor seating area which is shaded from the brutal sun. It was a nice little hideaway. We will be stopping back here on our way off the island!

I was in Key West last weekend for a short getaway. My friend who knows I love vegan food highly recommended this place. The food was amazing– I had the tuna gluten free wrap – which is such a treat to have gluten free items readily available. My friend who had not been exposed to vegan foods before had the tempeh scramble and loved it. We had a coconut turmeric smoothie which I could seriously drink everyday. In addition to their kitchen and drink counter they have an adorable supermarket with quality items that I have not seen in my local supermarket. I stopped by right before my drive back to pick up some Kevita, ginger cashews, and paleo wraps. If I lived closer to this place – my wallet would be in trouble. Oh and they definitely deserve a shout out for excellent customer service both times I visit. That is the cherry on top of this awesome must visit place.

Nice place to detox on your vacation with a kombucha or a fresh-made smoothie. The food looked good too but I didn’t try any. The smoothies are very expensive and take a while to come out, but they truly are delicious. Wide variety of flavor options.

The smoothie here was delicious, but $ 12 is crazy for a smoothie in this land of coconuts and mango trees.

Came here around 4:30 planning on getting something from the café, but did not realize it closes at 4. So instead, I decided to pick up something else to go and grabbed some Thai peanut noodles from the market. When I went to check out, I was told there was a credit card minimum and I was about a dollar under it, so I looked around the register and grabbed a small cookie to put my total over the minimum. I was surprised to find that the cookie was over $ 5. It was vegan and gluten free, but still, over $ 5 for a single, small, flavorless cookie that I ended up tossing? My noodles were decent, and I like the healthy options this market offers, but it is just too overpriced for me(and the quality/taste did not seem high enough to warrant its prices). If I were to return, I might give the café a shot.

Such a great gluten option, off the beaten path in Key West. I had a green tea, and a gluten free breakfast wrap. The wrap was delicious! It had egg, a special sauce, avocado and greens. I was so pleased, I ordered a smoothie to go. The tables outside are fantastic. They are planters in the middle with fresh herbs and greens growing. All of their to go containers are compostable and green. Inside they have a shop with teas, drinks and groceries. Perfect for stocking up to take back to your room or home. Can’t wait to go back!
