Overpriced merchandise. Unfriendly staff.
On Connecticut Ave where Conn Ave and University split, in Kensington.
The old ARC thrift in Wheaton was much nicer, although smaller, and prices were much better. I will not be shopping or donating to this location.

Wonderful place with lots of variety for the store size. Lots of new items. I don’t know if they go through donations, but the items have always been in really good condition, and not close to the end of life, like some thrift stores I’ve visited. There’s a reasonable amount of parking. The prices range from reasonable to excellent. They have discounts and sales often, so watch for those. The staff is friendly, items are organized, and the store supports a great cause.

I was really looking forward to this place. Unfortunately, not much to see or get excited about. The prices seemed reasonable, but there was not much that I wanted to buy. There is parking right in front, which was great.

Not great, but you never know when you’ll find a treasure. Some things are overpriced. Biggest problem is — what’s the phone number? I want to call and ask a question, but I can’t find the phone number!

Not much worth seeing here. The prices are quite high. On a 50% off day the prices are close to normal thrift store pricing.
Skip unless you are really bored.

I was not impressed with this thrift store. The store is large and bright which is always good. However, prices seemed so high. I buy Springbok puzzles and there were several that were priced at $ 7.45. For a used puzzle! Used and worn furniture had high prices. I looked at a few clothes and they were priced high too. I’d visit again if I was in the area. With thrift stores, everyday is different.

Since it is new, they are having plenty of promos going on such as 50% off everything during weekends. The prices are OK but with the 50% off promo, it is great. Mostly have clothes, glasswares, kids toys DVDs/​VHS.
Clothes consists of Ann Taylor, Loft, Forever 21 … Nothing rare or exclusive brands.
Definitely worth checking out especially during the weekends!
They accept credit cards.
