I’ve been getting geared up here since they were at their old location on Georgia Ave. many moons ago. This is part of Tai Yim Kung Fu school. They have a nice selection of uniforms for karate, judo, kung fu also the various sparing and padding needed to perform. They also have small sizes for kids. Their selection of weapons include everything from nunchaku to staff weapons, knives, throwing stars, swords both Chinese and Japanese types and many instructional books/​DVDs. They also have a nice little selection of Chinese herbal medicine. All of this and without having to go to Chinatown. Grandmaster Yim is often there to assist you in your selection he has a lifetime of experience in the martial arts and he is more than able to answer all questions about the various items that you would need for whatever discipline that you study. Sure you can get all of these items and more thru online shopping but sometimes it is good to discuss in person with those who know.
