Ugh! Food was gross. The only thing I really like was the bread. It was hot and toasty. Everything else was either bland or seasoned weird. We got the bang bang shrimp, Caesar salad, and chicken teriyaki bowl. These dishes seem simple and how hard for it to go wrong? Well it did. Waste of money. One star for the bread and ok service.

We have been here several times and service does not meet my expectations. The servers do not seem to be very attentive to the customer. Our most recent visit was very disappointing and it was probably our last time. Food was brought cold and we asked the waiter to bring everything together which he did not. We waited 30 – 45 minutes just to be disappointed. I eventually left and went to another nearby establishment for dinner. I wish their service and food quality was more consistent. Food seems to be cold or just warm quite often. Beautiful restaurant and great atmosphere. We really like the outside patio. Hope they get better.

Really enjoyed our meal here, it was a nice surprise! We came early 4:30ish on a Friday and sat in the bar area. The bang bang shrimp was really good and the portion was large. There were four of us and we had plenty. My friend ordered the mussels and again it was a large portion for an appetizer. They have a HH menu just not sure what the specials are. I had the lobster tail with asparagus and mashed potatoes and everything was delicious. They brought a small bowl of melted butter lit under a small fire for the lobster. I was pretty full after the appetizers so the lobster tail was the perfect serving. Portions are large and very good for the price. My husband had the filet and it was really tasty. Our friend had the salmon and mac and cheese. Make sure you order without mushrooms if you don’t like them. The mac and cheese version without mushrooms was better than with. We also had dessert which was the brownie(can’t remember all the extras) but again very tasty and great sized portion. Highly recommend this place if you are in the Katy area and want good seafood. Will be back soon!

Absolutely amazing experience! The service was stellar! This was our first time there and our waitress Emily was very knowledgeable and made several selections. The food was very good. I loved the ambiance and would recommend it to anyone! Great job!

Had dinner here drinks and food was great! It took a while for the lamb chops to come out so the manager took care of us and the meal was free. I love the bang bang shrimp. Will most definitely return.

I really like the atmosphere here at this place. However service is slow and the food is just ok. Servers are sweet but are not attentive and slow. For the price, I would not recommend this place.

Terrible food and even terrible customer service. Overpriced food, I would never go back. The servers are not attentive at all to the needs of the customers.

The food was ok. Nothing to rave about. We had gift cards since December and finally took the drive out there. The tables were very close to each other. My husbands tea tasted like coffee. They brought the chops medium rare wish we had known to ask to cook longer. The truffle macaroni and cheese was dry and tasteless. I had to ask for extra pesto sauce since my fish barely had any. The bang bang shrimp, bread and garlic mash potatoes were the only things we cared for. The service was good but won’t attempt going back.

My husband and I have eaten here several times trying to find a reason to come back. This is truly our last time. We had a gift card so decided to have dinner tonight. We both chose the Bonefish house salad/my spouse had chicken and I had salmon on mine.. It was supposed to have olives and hearts of palm. Mine had three olives and 2 pieces of Palm. Hubby’s salad was the same. The salads were about $ 14 each. Hubby said his chicken was rubbery. My salmon was decent. There was nothing special about these salads. A bunch of romaine thrown in a plate So sad that this local place just can’t get it together. The servers are nice but the quality and portions of the food just don’t cut it. We are officially done

The food was good. We always come for the bang bang shrimp. I did notice their calamari portion is very small compared to what it used to be. Our server was awesome, he knew the menu and offered suggestions. My only complaint is that the hostess wasn’t welcoming, and seemed inconvenienced just by us walking in the door. Other than that, it was a good experience.

I’m definitely a fan of the Bonefish Grill chain. The Cinco Ranch location doesn’t disappoint in that aspect. So why only 3 stars? Well, that reflects my disappointment in the restaurant seems to be taking with it’s fresh fish choices. I see Bonefish Grill competing more with the Landry’s, Babin’s, and to a certain extent, Fish City Grill as opposed to Red Lobster. When it comes to appetizers, specials, and meal preparation Bonefish Grill wins hands down. I love Bonefish Grill’s Bang Bang shrimp. Their other appetizers like their ahi tuna sahimi and Thai coconut shrimp are pretty good as well. I haven’t had a bad appetizer yet at Bonefish. Their house salad is light, and still full of flavor. I enjoy their rotating seasonal soups. Their sides are decent as well, though I prefer to stick to the green vegetables. Their broccoli is never overcooked, and their french green beans are good. The premium sides are just OK. The appetizers and sides might be great, but what you really come to Bonefish grill for is the fish. There was a time where local fish like snapper and grouper were a staple on the Bonefish grill menu. Unfortunately that no longer seems to be the case. Although both were on the summer menu, right now 3 of the 6 fish on the Bonefish grill menu do not even come from the sea. Atlantic salmon(farmed), Tilapia(farmed) and Rainbow trout(take a guess). To their credit they do have mahi mahi, Chilean sea bass and Ahi Tuna on their menu. If you saved room for dessert, Bonefish has a few that are on point. The key lime pie with the pecan crust is my preference. The macadamia brownie is good for chocoholics, I’ll keep coming back for the bang bang shrimp, but hopefully Bonefish steps their fish game up.

I thought Babins and Landrys was bad. This place takes the cake! Worst seafood restaurant I have ever visited. Papas Seafood and Pappadeaux has nothing to worry about from this chain. Nice atmosphere but food and service is substandard. Nothing good at all about this place. Drive a little further to enjoy true seafood at Pappadeaux.

Went here for date night. The ambiance fit the occasion well, with the dim lights and candles at the table. The appetizer was pretty good, except my wife felt it could have been seasoned better. My wife’s entrée looked and tasted really good. My plate was cooked well too it was just a tab but too plain looking for me. But overall a tasty meal nonetheless. Would definitely go back here.

Me and my wife had our wedding anniversary dinner here. Main course entrees tasted good not great. We ordered wood grilled Atlantic salmon and tilapia with seasonal veggies, garlic mashed potato and jasmine rice. We finished off with crème brûlée, it was disappointing. I make better crème Brûlée than bonefish !!! Finding parking spot in this shopping strip can be a nightmare depending on your timing. I’d recommend this place to others.

First timer here and great little location. Nice layout and pretty bright inside. Kimber was my server and throughout the time I was there, she was really attentive to my needs. Ordered the calamari as my appetizer and was surprised at how good the seasoning was even though a few pieces was overcooked. Got the Kobe Beef which was AMAZING. So good that I would come back JUST for the burger. Overall, no complaints. Definitely coming back if I’m in the area.

My wife and I ate here for an early dinner last Saturday. The worst part was trying to find a parking space around the crowded shopping complex. When we entered, we noticed Bonefish had a nice upscale feel even though shorts are perfectly ok to wear. There were only a couple of tables with diners. It took a few minutes for our waitress to take our drink order, which was odd since the place wasn’t crowded at all. She finally delivered our drinks along with some fresh hot bread and pesto/olive oil dipping sauce. We could have made a meal on the bread and pesto it was so good. We ordered the Bang Bang Shrimp for an appetizer. Lightly fried shrimp covered in a very lightly spiced sauce on top of lettuce. It was very good. We finished our bang bang and waited again for our waitress to take our entrée orders. I order the regular size sea bass(they have a small size) with the lemon butter sauce. My wife ordered the tilapia imperial. It took forever for our food to come out and the waitress kept telling us it would be out soon. Finally our food arrived. My regular size sea bass wasn’t as big as I was hoping. I would say it was about a 4oz chunk if that. My guess the«small» would have been the size of one large sea scallop. The sea bass was very good even though the size/price ratio wasn’t good. My wife’s tilapia imperial was ok, but I thought the stuffing was too mushy. The side of sugar snap peas wasn’t very good. Fresh snap peas don’t need to be peeled. We love eating raw sugar snaps. These sugar snaps were cooked, but were extremely chewy even after being cooked. Sugar snaps shouldn’t be chewy and these were very very stringy. As others have stated, the service needs to improve. Food coming out of the kitchen is painfully slow. Waitstaff needs to be more attentive. Food is so so. The prices are somewhat high for the amount and quality of food you get. I have to give Bonefish a 3 star rating, but we’ll give it another try. Oh, their website had a coupon for 15% off. Using the coupon, it’s worth a shot.

Father’s Day late lunch at 3:00 p started off with the Blood Orange Paloma — beware there is no blood orange in this drink, I was told there was. If you like Campari and Reposado tequila and grapefruit juice, bottoms up! Wait staff kind but appeared new and overwhelmed. Inquired about lobster & mac was told they were too busy but would check with chef, no can do. I asked for a side order of white truffle Mac and cheese $ 4.95 and a 12 oz lobster tail $ 19. Waiter asked why my order & I stated I can have my lobster mac this way. Back of the house must have freaked as the white truffle Mac came out with large lobster pieces — which is not the norm, truffle sauce I could not taste but the lobster was good the 12 oz lobster was on a diet and fresh snap peas tasty too. Photo is not adequate to show what a –12 oz lobster tail should not look like — Had to ask for water refills and remind the wait staff a couple of times about the order As we were ready to leave a manager came over to the table and noted I did not like my drink. Told him I was not in Italy today drinking Campari and the tequila mix could have used a pinch of simple syrup with a splash of lime and not been misleading to be named blood orange. He agreed. Drink comped. In my next life am coming back has a bartender with a law degree so I can be paid for working 2 jobs simultaneously. Manager thought my food industry background interesting, gave him an idea for lobster mac’ n cheese, we had a fun lunch and will be back.

*sigh* Ok, so… I have been wanting to try this place since BEFORE I left Florida. Well, last night(my anniversary) my husband and I went. SOOOOOO disappointed ! ! While our server was very polite and knowledgeable of the menu. the food SUCKED ! The only good thing was indeed the«Bang Bang Shrimp«. We ordered cocktails… which were«OK «. I ordered the Sirloin and Crab cake… to which I requested my steak be medium well… it came out cooked to the NTH degree of done ! My husband had the Lobster Thermidor – though it was tender enough. It was flavorless. It was like we were eating… and that was it. EATING – but not tasting and enjoying what we were chewing. I left with a full belly of tasty BREAD… and that was it. I waited all this time to try this place, just to be seriously let down. I’m good… I shan’t be returning.

Seems the Photos number 1 – 25 are too professional to be posted by actual customers and Posted all on the same date. Makes me wonder. Hmm First time here and was actually good. Bang Bang Shrimp was really good. Eat right away. Had the Rib-Eye and very good, just a light tough but the Mushroom Bacon brown sauce was Amazing-Never tasted anything like that before and combinations Had the Patron Margarita rimmed with Salt and Pepper. Very Good. Raspberry Martini was good. CousCous too Mediterranean flavor. Didn’t match with Rib-Eye. David our server was Very Good-Knew the menu well and gave Meaningful Suggestions. Disappeared for a While but Ok. Would return Here. Wed Has Specials and Brunch on Sunday! We come back!

My wife invited me to go out and try this place. I was glad I did. First its a little difficult to find as you can see it from the Grand Parkway but you enter in LaCentera? Once I figured that out we entered and were immediately seated. Our server was NIck and he came over and went over the menu pretty thoroughly. We decided to have a few drinks 1st. My wife got a Raspberry Martini and I got a Patrón’s Perfect Cucumber Margarita. My drink was a little different than what I was used to but very refreshing with a cucumber added to it. My wife also enjoyed her martini. We started with the Bang Bang shrimp and they were delicious. We were also provide some bread and pesto while we were waiting on our meal. We then ordered two appetizers a shrimp stuffed with lobster meat for our main meal with a side of crab fried rice. It was a great meal and the ambiance was very nice. Our waiter kept checking on us and the service was excellent. He also alerted me that if you fill out the survey on your check that it will allow you to get a free appetizer on your ext visit. I saw on their website if you make a reservation that you will get 15% off your next visit.
