Went here and ordered dumplings for take out. The staff was nice enough, and the dumplings were decent that one time. since then I’ve went two other times and those were both a miss for me

Food was okay. If you ordered from a Chinese place, you ordered them all… Ordered at 3:30… Got a phone call at 4:20… I called back and they said that the delivery guy as there banging on my door but I didn’t open the door. I was home and no one was at my door. They got offensive and raised their voice. And I asked«are you sure you got the right address?» Yes… And he read back my address. And he wrote it down wrong… They went to the wrong address… I ordered thru grub hub so there’s no way that I told them the wrong address. Anyway, no apologies, no nothing… Guess it was my fault that they went to the wrong house? Anyway, food arrived 5:30. And I still tipped them, I don’t know why… Tipping is for good or great service only… I guess I’m just a nice person…

We tried this rat trap once again. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I cannot think of one good thing to say. Food taste, quality and service… go elsewhere if you would like a great meal for you and your family.

Great, authentic chinese food for a much lower price point than many other restaurants in the area. The Mongolian beef is perhaps the best I’ve ever eaten, and certainly the best in the katy/cinco ranch area. Friendly staff, fast delivery and delicious food make china wall an establishment that I will continue to visit in the future.

We had a party of three. The employee gave us one menu. When we asked for more, he suggested we look at the«to go» paper menu on the counter. Water dispenser had black gooey stuff coming out of the spout. When asked if the employee could clean it, he was very rude. It wasn’t going well — even before the food came out — so we cancelled our order and left.

Down hill slide that can’t be stopped. We’ve eaten here many many times over the past 10 or so years, it was our regular takeout place and was consistently good. There must be new owners, cooks or some other problem going on. Ordered tonight and our regular go to meals of general tso’s chicken and chicken with snow peas were unrecognizable. Every single thing was off. Sauces all wrong, spring roll gummy and non-descript, hot and sour soup that tasted like brown water with a lot of salt. The chicken in the general tso’s looked like nuggets from a bag. Save yourself the disappointment and keep looking. China Wall just isn’t what it used to be.

Food was delicious and had lots of different varieties but it was very expensive. And I looked up online and when I call to order they said that’s an old menu and that their menu is $ 3 more expensive and some did not have dinner combo. It was hard to order since I couldn’t see their new Menu online.

When trying a new Chinese restaurant I only try shrimp fried rice to check the place out. I feel if you can’t get that right then I need no further dishes from the business. Sadly to say this was a waste of my money. Although they were very generous with shrimp, the flavors were just not there.

A disappointment! Ordered two entrees, chicken and fried rice. Over half the mongolian beef and shrimp entrees were made up of onions. I didn’t order onion entrees with small portions. Taste was bland, beef with red peppers sprinkled and soggy chicken. The egg rolls were forgotten as part of the order. DONOT waste your time and unless you want to order tasteless food.

You know how sometimes, you’re working late or the kids have a huge schedule for you to schlep them around to, or the weather is just too hot/cold/rainy/whatever, or maybe you are working late or got off early or are kicking back with a movie… and for whatever reasons, you want Chinese takeout? Not something super fancy or exotic, but the Chinese-American comfort food that your mom brought home, and her mom before her, and her mom before her? This is the place to go when you hit those days. It has all the traditional stand-byes — kung pao chicken, lemon chicken, sweet and sour pork, lo mein, moo goo gai pan, triple delight, and all the others. Here’s the special kicker — made with really wholesome high-quality ingredients(white meat, fresh vegetables, homemade sauces)! Cooked to order, quickly, and packed up securely for you to haul home and enjoy… maybe for dinner, and maybe later while standing in front of an open fridge door(or even breakfast the next day). I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s been consistently good this entire time. A five-star place.

Don’t want to cook? Too tired to go out? China Wall is a nice choice for delivery on those kinds of nights. Special fried rice meat quality is really good; tender beef chicken and baby shrimp. Not the«slivers» commonly found but chunks! Same-same for Moo Shu dishes(we like shrimp) Not fancy or gourmet, but which restaurant like that will seat you when you are in your pajamas early on a Friday night anyway?

This is a two month follow up review. Their food has gotten a *lot* better in recent months! Not sure what changed but now they are a top notch Chinese food restaurant!

Had the sesame chicken and an egg roll. Worst food poisoning I’ve ever had. Glad you guys like it but it’s a no go for me.

Not the greatest Chinese food, but definitely the best in the cinco ranch area. Good hot and sour soup, everything cooked correctly. Just your above average Americanized Chinese food joint. BTW, their website is horribly outdated and wrong. They deliver.

Best Chinese food on 99! This place did it up with great size portions and special requests. They were friendly with kids and attentive to customers. Very surprised it wasn’t busy when we ate there around 5:30PM. The ordering style is at the counter and reminded me of a Chinese vendor in a mall food court. Orange chicken was great and packed with flavor Sesame chicken was sweet and crispy instead of soggy and smothered with sesame seeds like most. Sweet and sour pork was great but I would have liked a few more vegetables mixed in. No fountain drinks so expect a canned drink, glass of tea or water.

Good, reasonable Chinese dishes. Specials normally offered. China Wall is a small restaurant that mainly focuses on delivery and take-out. The business is located in a strip center next to the Super Target on Westheimer Parkway. I prefer to eat in the restaurant. Although CW only has a few tables, service is good. The food is cooked quickly and is delicious. My family likes the fried rice, noodles, and orange chicken. The crab rangoon is also very good. On our last visit, I had the shrimp with lobster sauce. It came with about 8 medium-sized shrimp and the sauce was very tasty. My daughter had an egg-drop soup with her orange chicken and liked both items. CW also offers food specials… look at the take-out menu for details. We received a free order of delicious chicken fried rice for spending over $ 40 on the meal. There is a cooler in the counter with soft drinks and water. After you are done with your meal, CW will happily box-up your leftovers. CW is our go-to place for Chinese food.

New owners… bad food. Will not go back! It’s hard to screw up chicken fried rice… but they did. I threw it out because it tasted terrible. !

Just had China Wall after getting a menu in the mail. Delivery is a huge plus for us, so we definitely were going to try. I got the orange chicken and my husband got LO mien combo. Both were above average in taste and quality, and still really hot when it got here. The hot and sour soup was lighter and more delicious than other places. Prices were right… Not too much and not too cheap. The delivery guy was super nice too! We will order from here again!

We didn’t eat in, so this is a review for a delivery order. They apparently JUST started doing delivery a few days before we ordered, so when we placed our order, they told us it would be 45 minutes. I was a little surprised at the long wait time, but we weren’t dying of hunger, so we were fine waiting. Our food arrived in 15 minutes tho, so I don’t know if they haven’t figured out how to estimate timing on delivery orders or what, but I was happy it showed up so quick. I ordered the Mongolian Beef and Hubby ordered the Happy Family. A lot of places will try to fill a Mongolian Beef order with lots of filler veggies, but this order was exactly as it should be– beef and onions in a brown sauce. It was delish and the meat was super tender. My husband seemed to really like his Happy Family meal as well. It had a lot of veggies in it– baby corns, carrots, peas, etc, so it looked really pretty with all the color. The meal came with 2 eggrolls and they seemed to be fatter than I am used to, but they were flavorful and fresh tasting. All in all, the place has legit food and we’ll def be ordering from here again.
