Great little health store. Everything is good quality, clean store, decent prices, great location and really good customer service.

Great produce and snacks. Good service and great selection of health foods. I love picking up items here when I’m in town.

I picked up the most blissful homemade chapstick here. I’ve used it so often that I can’t even read the label anymore. It remains a mysterious yet key item in my gum wrapped filled purse.
This whole store is filled with my kind of treasures. It’s run with a ton of care and it’s ideal for stocking up on healthy items if you live in the area or happen to be passing through. From homemade coconut milk ice-​cream, to local salves, to bulk herbs, to vegan snacks and much more — Joshua Tree Health Foods has it all.
I highly recommend buying some of the unique locally made Joshua Tree food or health products which they carry here and asking the staff to tell you more about them. It’s the perfect way to support talented people in the area and to learn more about the magical world that is Joshua Tree.

I love the ladies who have been working here steadily for the past few years. They’re so helpful, kind and «neighborly». They assume the hippie spirit of Joshua Tree and treat everyone well. I’ve never gone in and been met with an unhappy worker.
Recently they extended the size of the store and included a LOT more food items, which I love. And if they don’t carry something they accept requests to stock items and/​or will special order it for you. Lots of vegan & dairy-​free options. Plus fresh produce from local farmers.

Love this market! I always stop by when I’m in town to get some goodies. Staff is very welcoming and helpful. Selection of products and prices are pretty good! I was looking for a local event and the lady at the register was exremely nice and provided the address. She also assisted me with some supplements I had left back hom, her suggestions were so valuable!

I’m probably there at least once a week. They’re incredibly helpful, just enlarged their place and it was awesome before!

Really great store with plenty of great options for vegans — I was very happy to find this store during my visit in Joshua Tree. It’s exactly what wanted for provisioning my AirBnB rental for my trip and extra snacks for the road.

LOVE Joshua Tree Health Foods. They carry a good selection of organic produce, gluten free foods, health and body, wines, craft beers (my favorite is the Crabbies ginger beer), spices and more. Everyone here is super friendly and sweet not to mention helpful. I desperately needed something for my dry skin, trying everything else and nothing working I came here to find something. I was introduced to the «NOW» brand shea butter which works amazingly. This place is a must visit spot. It is like a smaller WAY smaller version of WHole Foods, Mother’s Market, Sprouts located In the heart of downtown Joshua Tree and near so many amazing shops, restaurants and the new coffee shop Joshua Tree Coffee CO.!!

What a Godsend, this place is! I buy a lot of our food here and come in on a weekly basis. I even buy our dog’s food here! Everyone that works here is sweet, friendly and knowledgable on their inventory. I would have to drive an hour away in order to find the things my families use every day if it weren’t for this amazing store, so I appreciate it very much. They have a artisanal items on occasion and they’re all very good. I highly recommend all of their ice creams, buying herbs and salt in bulk, and the thai coconut curry hummus they have in the refrigerated section. It doesn’t last the car ride home…
PS: If you’re active duty, they offer a discount with ID! :)

They have ice cream! Home made and unique flavors. The only downside is that you’ll have to buy a whole pint and eat it before it melts in the hot desert sun.

Thank you for being open in a small town in the middle of the desert! I thought that I would have to live on nuts and dried fruit for my time in this area, but this place sells healthy, natural products and offers local produce.

Great selection, especially for a very small store — they have a ton of excellent options that I can’t track down in my usual «big city» health food places! Made my stay in Joshua Tree all the better.

Solid little health food store. I needed a couple of my regular supplements that keep me going and I forgot them when I left on vacation. They have lots of options for all my regular herbs and vitamins. They also had a great selection of healthy snacks that packed well for our hiking in Joshua Tree. I was super happy to find a nice little health food store, even if it was in the middle of nowhere.

Very well stocked, whole-​food like local market. Really made our trip by supplying us organic beer, soaps, and gifts.

The customer service here is down-​right old school.
He is so pleasant and helpful. You can get pastas, sauces, almond butter, cashew butter, cereals, bars, supplements, vitamins, etc.
Don’t half step. Don’t let the small size of the store fool you.

Like most «health food stores» this place is at least 50% supplements and powders. That’s not food. What they do have is fine, but it is so tiny that there is no way you can really do all your grocery shopping here. If they would nix the supplements and fill the isles with food, it would be better. Found some nice sprouted bread there, though, that we quite liked and in JT this is the only place you’re gonna get free range eggs or organic milk.

As a one time dirtbag climber, I oddly enough found myself with enough cash to both shop here and buy the occasional piece of gear around the corner at Nomad.
Yeah! Utah unemployment for making it so easy to call in my weekly claim and stoking me with the direct deposit.
