Update: I kept trying to call to get an appointment. After leaving multiple voice mails, the owner never got back to me. I finally gave up and called livingsocial to get my money back.

I was a little worried with some of the reviews, but I couldn’t pass up the Groupon deal, as my hair was overdue for a cut. Saturday morning was a great time to go, I didn’t have to wait at all. Nicole listened to what I wanted and did an awesome job! She cut my hair really quickly, so I was a little worried that it wouldn’t be a great cut, but it turned out perfectly. The cut also passed the morning after test; it still looked great when I tried to re-create the look the next day! I never get exactly what I want out of a haircut, and Nicole totally nailed it. I’m so excited about how my cut turned out, and I will definitely return. Also, the conditioning treatment was amazing, my hair was silky smooth.

STAYAWAY! I bought a Living Social deal and was excited to try this place out because it SEEMED like a good deal and had decent reviews when I looked them up on Unilocal.First of all, it was very difficult to speak with anyone besides the answering machine because they don’t keep regular business hours. I made an appointment for 3PM and showed up at the salon 5 mins prior to my appt. The lights were out and the sign said«closed». I waited for 20 minutes sitting outside in 93 degree heat and NOONESHOWEDUP! I called and left a message berating them and saying I’d be sure to get my money back and Unilocal about them. I got a call from the owner of the salon at 3:45pm and she said it was a «misunderstanding» and I was in the schedule for 5pm. I am 100% positive it was for 3pm and as you can see by Derek Y’s review, this seems to be a common occurence. I can hardly believe I got stood up! Totally unprofessional! LEARNFROMMYMISTAKE! DON’T WASTEYOURTIME!

Update! I have since been back twice to use up the rest of my Groupon, and it’s been much easier to contact Nicole and schedule an appointment. The haircuts are consistently good and I get a good wash out of the deal. Maybe the scheduling problems were a one-off. Parking is a huge pain on weeknights, though. I got a great haircut here once, but the hours posted are not at all accurate, and they ignore reservations. I have tried to get my hair cut again for the past 2 weeks, and the phone is never answered, the shop is dark(with no hours posted), and it takes them days to return my voicemail. I finally set up a reservation, and they stood me up! It was 6pm on a Wednesday, which appears to be right in the middle of their service hours, so I have no idea when this salon is actually open.

Just went with the groupon for a haircut, glaze, and deep conditioning treatment. In addition, my blowout was fabulous. They did a great job. I will go back. I am a fan!

I can’t say enough good things about Nicole and E’Clips! I’ve been going to the salon since it opened and always refer friends. My highlights always look great and she knows exactly how to cut my wavy, medium length hair. Give E’Clips a try and I’m sure you wont ever go anywhere else! Friendly service, always flexible with appointments and an unbelivable cut/color/dry…What more could you want?

I went to E-Clips when it first opened and had an ok experience with Sonja cutting my hair. I have since gone back numerous times to have Nicole cut and color and i love it(and her) every time! She is super friendly, down-to-earth and definitely knows how to highlight my hair to perfectly match my face and rest of my hair color. Highly recommended. Reasonable prices and no pretentious attitudes.
