Quick in to p/u a bottle of wine for dinner. Employees were nice and helpful. Would return if I am near here.

Name 3 businesses that never go out of business: — Funeral Homes — Casinos — Liquor Stores Believe it or not, this place is going out of business. Luckily, I grabbed a nice bottle of Saint-Émilion Bordeaux on sale(there’s a BYOB restaurant, ME Casa, across the street). Their selection of Pinor Noir /Malbec was subpar, but beggars can’t be choosers. Stock up because liquor stores never have sales either!

I couldn’t make up my mind for a moment or two when rolling over between three and four Unilocal stars, but the owners being nice brought it to four Unilocal stars. The beer selection is pretty good considering it’s size and location. When I first saw this place years ago, I couldn’t believe seeing a Brooklyn Brewery neon sign on Varick Street(this was years ago, before any local competition). There’s enough«good» beer for the yuppie inside us as well as «cheap» beer for the ghetto folks nearby. There’s also a lot of 750ml bottles of fancy beer. The wine selection is pretty good; nothing to be in awe about, but for years before I became a wine snob, I truly enjoyed their selection. You can always find a cold bottle of inexpensive white wine and a pretty good bottle of red wine. Though my tip is never to buy anything that faces the window since the light damages the wine. The spirits selection is your typical selection of all things 40%. There’s enough selection to get your spirits grocery list, like 12 year old Irish whiskey and not-too-cheap vodka. Basic liqueurs selection: you’ll probably find Kahlua and maybe two kinds of limoncello. There’s a tiny grocery store in the back that has really basic things, like toothpaste and mustard. The owners are really nice and the wife is into sports. It’s really funny — you’ll see her glued to the TV watching baseball. You’re thinking, «oh here’s this middle aged Korean mom», and out of no where she’s saying out loud how some baseball player sucks. Awesome.

–Summary– Pros: Owners, Prices Cons: Selection My go-to liquor store. No, they may not have miles upon miles of every craft beer made, or every bottle of wine in existance, but they make up for it in service. The owners are super nice and the prices are good. They also have a little space in the back where they have some convenience store food items and the like. If you’re looking for some rare item, you most likely won’t find it here, but if you’re coming to get some standard alcohol staples, I highly recommend.

My favorite liqour store in the area. The have a lot of beers but probably not the most around. Same for the wines and liqours. No no the best thing here is the prices 12 packs o pbr for 6 or 7 dollars. Among other cheap and awesome prices. The staff is also very friendly and polite at all times. I really like this place and I think you will to… P. S.10 cc minimum open later than liberty harbor fyi…
