Massage Green

We’ve had 2 couples massages and are in love!!! Both have been excellent and we couldn’t be more impressed! Each masseur listens to your individual requests. They are very professional and make it an individual but combined experience. (Terrell has magic hands, according to my boyfriend; and Danny has magic hands, according to me haha) Don’t skip over this place! It is well worth it and we’ll be back!

What a great place! Super cool environment. They have several staff at the front door to greet you without any wait. Amber was extremely helpful to me as was each and every new face I encountered on my visits. I went three times for monthly massage visits regarding a neck pain. Each therapist was exceptionally friendly, informative, professional and good at what they do. I took my fiancé once for a couples massage and she felt the same. They even have a closed door tranquility waiting room to relax in after you’ve checked in. The beds are heated, the lights are dim and they will offer to have fresh water waiting for you once you exit the room afterwards. ¹⁰⁄₁₀

Like most, I have been to several spas and had massages. Massage Green is my top place to go to. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful and the masseuse are all knowledgeable and great at their craft. I get a lot of tension in my upper back/​shoulder area as well as my lower back and loved the sports massage as well as a good deep tissue massage.
I recommend getting the monthly membership, it is worth it. Even if you don’t use it for that month, the massages roll over into the next month.

I don’t remember who my masseur was the first time I came here, but he did do a great job. Unfortunately I got a stiff neck for the next few days after and then it dawned on me that I usually get a stiff next after I get a massage. Bummer! Anyway, I saw Latrell today and I let him know about my stiff neck issues and he told me he wouldn’t go as hard around my neck area and see if it works out. Keeping my fingers crossed…
The overall massage experience with him was great!
I really enjoy getting a good deep tissue massage and it just so happened that Latrell loves giving them. I decided to get a monthly membership and I think I may have found my masseur from here on.

I have been a member for nearly 2 years now and I can honestly say the 39.95 I spend each month is SO worth it!
I tried several therapists when I first started coming here — and most were terrific, but after my first session with Michelle, I decided that’s it — she’s my gal!
Michelle’s «magic hands» are FANTASTIC at working the little boulders out of my shoulders! Her techniques are exceptional and she always has a calm and friendly demeanor about her.
This location is always clean, rooms are soothing and the reception staff is friendly.
My only suggestion for this place would be to work on making the «tranquility room» a little more tranquil. This room has a thin glass swinging door that allows the loud chatter and phones ringing from the lobby to seep in. Also, the water cooler is in this room and the therapists pop in every few minutes to use it for their clients, so it can disrupt the peace and quiet you are trying to enjoy before your massage.
Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this location and Michelle!!! You won’t be disappointed!

I’ve been coming to this location for 5 years. I’ve been to many different Massage businesses and I can honestly say that Massage Green is the best. They are extremely kind, professional, caring and accomadating!
They have great pricing for the many different services that they provide.
The owner, Darlene does a freaking fantastic job at selecting the right masseuse for each client to ensure that your experience is well above average.

Wow! This was my first massage experience, but it won’t be my last!
Went online and scheduled my appointment for 2 hours later. I walked in, filled out a sheet and was almost immediately taken back.
Liz T was my masseuse. Magic hands… I have (what I believe to be) a muscle strain in my lower back. She focused on that area, but still hit other areas.
I still have pain, but it is no where near what it was. Happy, happy, happy

I decided to join this place because I wanted frequent massages and not at a premium price. I’m pretty much addicted to getting massages. After trying out both locations, I decided on San Jose since it was closer to my work. It’s a great way to spend my lunch hour once a month! I love the fact that it’s cheaper than Massage Envy and you can cancel any time. That was the selling point for me — no obligation for a yearly contract, although I won’t be cancelling any time soon! The first massage I had was meh and done by a guy who I think was pretty inexperienced and awkward. When they asked if I wanted him again while making my next appointment I said not really. They then scheduled me with a lady named Tori and she’s amazing! I go see her every month. The first time I had some recurring knots in my shoulder that she skillfully worked out and they haven’t plagued me since. She can tailor the massage to whatever pressure you would like and makes sure to check in on the pressure to let you know you can always tell her to adjust it. She always makes sure you are comfortable. I like a little more pressure sometimes and then medium pressure other times, depending on how I am feeling or any knots I want worked out. Definitely go see Tori! Sometimes these places are a gamble because so many therapists work there but Tori is an expert. The only reason I didn’t give this place a five star review is because it doesn’t have the high end spa feel, but at $ 39.95, I don’t expect it to have that.

This is for the glycolic peel. I’ve had several glycolic peels before. After having one yesterday at this spa my skin did not feel much different and I could barely feel the mixture they put on my face. The esthetician seemed to be using a lot of water. Normally you would be feeling some serious tingling followed by peeling in the upcoming days. When I woke up this morning my skin did not feel any tighter and I was concerned so I called the spa. A lady informed me that the chemicals are not harsh enough to cause peeling and that the more mild ones are better for your skin. Ok so why the hell are you telling your customers this is a peel. It is merely a facial. If I had known this I wouldn’t have spent $ 70 on it. I now have to go and pay for an actual skin peel somewhere else. I couldn’t be more dissatisfied with the service.

The massage was great but I was double charged. When we called in to ask why we were told it was a computer glitch and that everyone that day was double charged. Shady business practice you ask me! If they knew about any issue they should have taken the initiative and called their clients affected to notify them instead of me finding out by looking at my statement.

Nice and professional environment. Was able to get a same day appt. My massage therapist (Tory) listened to my region of interest, I requested deep tissue and that’s what was provided. She worked out all the knots and tensions in my neck and shoulders relieving my 2days headache! Highly recommend Tory!

I disliked my first experience, she seemed to not know what she was doing. I told the receptionist and she told me she would honor the intro rate again, since I was not satisfied. I came back and had the worse massage I had in my life. The therapist would not use any lotion so I had to ask if he could apply lotion because the friction was uncomfortable so he would only apply a small amount, and it would then dry up really quickly. The massage was barely feeling like a massage and more like someone hold my arm, since the pace was so slow. At the end of massage I just could not wait til it was over. When I went to check out Darlene charge me the full non– member rate, and I told her the only reason I came back was because they had promised me the introductory price again for my bad experience the first. When I booked the appointment I made sure that it was going to be the intro fee. It took her a while to honor it, as she know once again that I did not enjoy the massage, and that it didn’t even feel like a massage since he barely used any lotion. She seemed very non-​caring, and made it look like it was my issue, did not even apologize about my bad experience. If you want quality therapists do not go to this place the lack of care they put into their clients is astonishing, as well as the receptionist will make you feel like its your fault you did not enjoy your session even if she is the owner.

My wife and I tried the massage school prior to this experience. Being our first hour long massage we had high hopes for an amazing experience. We both elected to receive the deep tissue massage. My masseuse did an amazing job, i lost all track of time and before you know it the hour was over. Ugh!!! I had to have fallen asleep I was so relaxed. Everyone was polite and professional. Decided to stop in for a massage with the girlfriend as there was a $ 29.95 deal through Unilocal for a 1 hour massage. The massage was just good and nothing great about it that made me think otherwise. I called and booked over the phone the same day and upon walking in we were greeted and brought into a side room to fill out the paperwork. We waited til our therapists came and got us. We both decided on the couples message, good choice there. We both had the Swedish massages and after an hour I didn’t feel any different. The girlfriend couldn’t stop talking about how great her neck felt afterwards.
Overall nice little place to get a message and the only 2 disappointments I had was the room lighting; which seemed too bright. Atleast they could of lit some candles or something. And then the music that they had playing I couldn’t stay completely relaxed, maybe some soothing or tranquil water music would’ve been better.

Fabulous business that has always taken wonderful care of me. I have even a weekly client for several years and have never had a less than stellar visit. Cost effective and wonderful staff.

Sabrina was my massage therapist. She was amazing and so polite. She really made my experience here wonderful. She gave me a cranial massage and asked me where she wanted me to focus. If I was ever ticklish or she put too much pressure she backed off quickly.
My mom came with me and she wasn’t impressed with her masseuse. However, I did tell her about my experience and it convinced her to get a membership. Thank you Sabrina!

I very rarely feel things deserve a five star rating, but this is well deserved. Ashley P made me feel like jelly on a stick!
I’m just visiting the area for a few months and really needed a massage. Having never been to Massage Green, I was greeted with a $ 30, 60 minute first-​time massage. It was awesome; see comment above about Ashley.
The studio was clean and the staff was very friendly. They had a lot of traffic, all ages and genders, coming and going.
The membership is not too bad and very comparable to some of the other Massage Therapy places you can join; I’m so Envious! ;-)
I will definitely visit again.

The person who took my massage appointment put down the wrong time (5pm instead of 6pm). They made no effort to call in someone to honor my appointment. They did offer to make me wait 15 minutes to see if one of the therapists finishing up with clients would stay and do my massage… they didn’t stay.
They only good thing i can say is that they waived the cancellation policy and returned my money.
