Hand & Stone Spa Massage & Facial

I frequently come to this location for facials and the occasional massage. Jackie is absolutely amazing for facials! She is accommodating to my needs and thoughtful in attention to my at home routines when I can’t come in in a regular basis. Since coming here my skin feels and looks great.
The staff is very sweet and considerate and I have never had an issue with billing.

This is a review of their website — not the actual salon service. I’ve filled out the online appointment request twice and haven’t heard from anybody here to finalize. I tried it once two weeks ago selecting email as the best method to finalize… didn’t hear a thing… yes, I checked my spam diligently. Tried again last week using phone as the best method to contact, figured I’d switch it up and not drive myself nuts checking a span folder. No call, no voice mail. I’ve given up. Sure it could be a glitch in their online booking system or a number of other things, the cause isn’t so much my concern. I just want a massage and massage places are a dime a dozen (sorry not sorry) I’ll just find one that responds. Yes, I realize I could’ve called but I didn’t feel like it and I’m not necessarily pressed on going to this place specifically.
This place might be great. I can’t vouch for it either way.
My only advice is if you want an appointment don’t hold your breath with the online booking option.

I’m a regular at this place I have been for quite a while now.
Every time I come there is something new and amazing.
Recently I was scouring the valley for a foot reflexologist not realizing that One of the massage therapists here does reflexology.
The facials are heavenly.
I try to pamper myself as often as possible, unfortunately it’s not as often as I would like. But when I do come into Hand and Stone — they pamper me so well — I feel leaving refreshed and relaxed.

All of the staff is wonderful, always smiling, they always remember my name and they make me feel so special.

I went to get my first massage here and called and made an appointment for a prenatal massage. The lady asked me how far along I was and then gave me the name of the person I was scheduled with. When I got there they didn’t have it in their notes that I was pregnant so a different person had to do the massage. That didn’t bother me but they insisted that the massage was going to be free because they changed it on me. At the end of the massage I signed up for the membership and had monthly massages throughout my pregnancy. They were all wonderful and always the full hour (not like another membership place that kept getting shorter and shorter since I was already a member). I ended up canceling last much because my husband hates me having memberships anywhere, but I highly recommend Hand and Stone.

This was my first massage in a few years. This place was highly recommended by a friend. It is tucked away in a strip mall. When you walk in it is very clean and you are greeting my the girls up front. They were nice and got me a bottle of water while I filled out very minimal paperwork. I was shown to my room right on time for my 11am Hot Stone Massage. When I walked into my room it smelled faintly of cigarette smoke. This was the one and only turn off to the place. Next time I will pay the extra $ 10 for an added aroma. My therapist was great– he gave a great massage, I felt very comfortable in the room with him, he asked how I was doing, and I left feeling happy and relaxed. The massages are fairly priced — and they have an a-​la-​carte menu for add-​ons (like aroma). I signed up for the monthly membership, but didn’t feel pressured to (side-​note, you can cancel membership at any time).

first time at this establishment, used a gift card from spa finder my mom got me I totally enjoyed it … facility was modern, decorated nicely, love the use of hot towels throughout the treatments, friendly staff, I had a full hour body massage and hour facial, highly recommended!

My experience started with a warm friendly smile. I was encouraged to sit down and the receptionist would bring me over the paperwork I was offered a cold water while I was waiting. Not long after I was done with the paperwork then Kelsey came out to escort me back to the room. She was very friendly and immediately put me at ease. She was very considerate and gave me options based on my comfort, I was concerned with some injuries I had but Kelsey quickly put me at ease. She ensured my comfort was addressed at all times. I had a nerve/​muscle that was extremely sensitive and Kelsey stopped to make sure that I was not in pain and that it was just a touchy area. I was very impressed and grateful that she ensure that I was ok. I had been in pain for a few weeks due to injuring my shoulder while moving. While I did notice a difference that day, i noticed a bigger difference every day after. My shoulder feel so much better and I Thank Kelsey for working her magic.
I was onto my next self indulgence of the day. Susan would be working with me and immediately again felt reassured and comfortable. Susan worked magic to bring back a glow to my face. She assessed my face and told me the issues i had and how to remedy them. She never made me feel that i was doing a terrible job cleansing or caring for my skin. She did offer helpful suggestions that I have already instituted in my daily régime. Susan stated that she would write everything down for me so I would not have to remember, which was extremely helpful and allowed me to fully relax and clear my mind. When we are finished she showed me a few products that would help me achieve my skin care goal but I never felt pressured to purchase them. Just prior to leaving she fulfilled her promise and provided me with a written instructions as discussed.
Upon check out, there was a sign that helped me determine the correct tipping amount for my services and envelopes for me to place the tip. The front desk also took the time to discuss the membership with me and all the benefits. Not once did I feel that it was a hard sell and I especially like that I could cancel at anytime with notice. Because I was so happy with my services I did join and look forward to returning to keep my skin healthy and obtain my relaxation messages.

I had a wonderful experience. Very nice setting and beautiful and relaxing. Eric McFerin was my therapist and he did an amazing job. I felt less tense and stress free once the massage was completed. He focused on my problem areas which were my upper back, shoulders and neck work.

I initially signed up for a membership with hand and stone in Miami. I loved the Coral Gables location. The masseuse that work there are AMAZING. Sucks that I can’t say the same for this location. Although the staff is friendly and the rooms are relaxing I have received less than amazing services each time i’ve visited thus resulting in me canceling my membership. I’m only in Jax for a year so I figure i’ll try out a few other places until I find a place that suites my expectations. Hand and stone is a great concept but as a «veteran massage receiver» this location isn’t inciting me to return.
