Mandarin Landing Shoe Repair and Alterations

Did a terrible job of re-​soleing my boots! There is dye on the leather and a huge gouge in the new sole; refused to re-​do. Truly a shotty job! DO NOT use them, you will regret it!

I had two pairs of work heels that needed new… well, heels. Found this place on Unilocal with 2 completely opposite reviews and decided to give it a try since it’s in my neighborhood.
It’s a tiny Mom & Pop shop located next to the Kirklands in the Mandarin Landing (Whole Foods) plaza off of 295. So, bonus point right there for me. «Mom» appears to be in charge of alterations and «Pop» takes care of the shoes. Pop was a friendly dude who took a look at my shoes, and gave me some advice about what should be done. I asked if he could buff the leather because of minor damage due to the last time I wore them in the rain. I paid $ 8 per pair and left with a ticket to pick up my shoes on Wednesday. It was Saturday & I got the sense that I could have possibly picked them up sooner, but I was in no hurry.
I came back on Wednesday morning and my heels looked great and like new again. I’d recommend this place to others and would definitely come back again. Friendly, efficient service. I saw that they also do purse repairs too.
They are open 9 – 6 on M-​F and I think 10 – 3 on Sat. I submitted a photo of their hours to the Unilocal moderator so hopefully their Unilocal page gets updated soon.

I had a pair of knee high boots and a pair of black suede strappy heels that lost back of heels with loose soles. Florida humidity has not been kind to my shoe collection.
I read the only review and was hesitant to try this store, but I saw this store is the closest one and I decided to give it a try after driving by.
The shores were repaired in two days and they were perfect! Just like new. I am going there again with a couple of other heels.

Very sloppy, poorly done work. I ended up taking my shoes to another repair shop and paying again.
