Zoom Dry Cleaning

Went there 4 – 5 times. Within this period, more than 5 buttons were ripped of.
The first time I didn’t thought bad about it but then it got more and more.
When I started complaining about, they told me that I have to know it and that dry cleaning is a very rough process. They even told me, I could have a better service paying 3.50 per shirt.
Never go to that place again…

Was on a business trip and sent work clothes in for laundry wash and fold. When i came back to London I realised that one of the shirts had been ripped at the back, Another had one of the sleeve buttons pop off. Contact them via website asking about compensation, offered to give proof, never got a reply. Don’t bother…

So I go back to get my 4 shirts for the 3^rd (yes, third!)time. Apparently, with zoom, 3^rd time isn’t the charm. 3 shirts were fixed after 3 weeks. The 4^th one still isnt! And I kept my calm, and asked the girl «you know it’s been 3 weeks, right?». She just said «it will be fixed by tomorrow». I suspect they are punishing me for the Unilocal review. I pity the people who work there.
Here’s a simple lesson in customer service from a pissed off customer to Zoom.
When you destroy someone’s clothes or property
— apologize.
— take responsibility
— ask to fix it, BEFORE the customer has to request it
— apologize. Because it’s a dry cleaning shop. People just come to get their dirty clothes cleaned. Not to get buttons ripped off or clothes destroyed!
–show some respect. You just destroyed someone’s wedding dress or a shirt or a piece of clothing that probably has some sentimental value.
–and fix your mistake completely (not 4 of 5 shirts)
–fix it quickly (laundry takes a day and fixing 3 weeks and counting?!)
–as a courtesy (please, look it up– if you are reading this, you should be able to Google the meaning), offer not to charge them. Most decent people decline it and just want their clothes back. Does not mean you have to be cheap. You might actually make them feel better.

Used them a couple of times and have no complaints. Delivered on time.

I have been a loyal customer at this site when it opened, I believe, nearly two years ago and never had one issue. On 12÷19÷14, I spoke with the manager, Khole, about my pants and previously my shirts that had missing buttons. They fixed the shirts free of charge but when I also noticed one of my pants had a missing button from the back, Tiffany, an employee, explained to me that they would also fix the pants for free. I drove off and received a call from Tiffany stating that her manager, Khole, informed her that she misspoke and they were not paying to correct my missing button. I spoke with Khole and in so many ways, she insinuated that I was lying. I explained to her that I come to Zoom just about every week and never had any issues in nearly two years. This didn’t matter. I asked her do they check the clothing before servicing to ensure there are no buttons missing to avoid situations like this one? She said yes! Well if so, you would have noticed the missing button if I had broken it off myself. Then she proceeded to say, we don’t check the back of the pants, of course! Unfortunately, I dont want to find another place because this location is convenient, however this will be my last Zoom dry cleaning.

I read the reviews after I dropped off about 7 of my favorite shirts to be dry-​cleaned and I was a little worry after I finished reading them. But, not to worry people, my cloths came back in great condition and definitely much cleaner and fresher than when I dropped them off. Not too pricy either I would say.

I went here last year to get a skirt shortened. The girl at the counter was either stupid or not listening but I asked to remove 5″ off of the skirt (which would’ve hit me right at the knee). I came back 2 – 3 days later and I was told that they made a mistake — they thought to shorten the skirt TO 5″.
I had never had this happen to me so I kind of just stood there speechless. Finally I said, Well I want my money back for the alteration. To the owner’s credit, he not only gave my money back he also offered to pay for the cost of the skirt which was $ 80. Then he told me that the girl was fired. I thought, Harsh but whatever.
A few months later I returned to drop off some dry cleaning and THAT SAME girl was there helping another customer. When it was my turn to be helped I was tempted to ask her, Hey, didn’t you get fired? But kept my mouth shut. I only needed dry cleaning done that day but made sure that she understood me by having her repeat my order.
Nothing special about this place except for how convenient of a location they’re in but I take my dry cleaning elsewhere these days.

Sorry. Not a good job. After spending $ 50 on my first order, I have to either iron my dry cleaned shirts or take them to another cleaner. Was hoping this place would work out because it is so convenient for me. The idea of paying up front intrigues me though.
I don’t know if it is their process or equipment, but the collars are not smooth, wrinkled underneath. Reading other reviews, maybe I just have higher standards on dry cleaning??? Find that hard to believe, since I’m a slob.
I will try to post some pics. Maybe give them another chance in a couple weeks, but only with 1 shirt.

Just moved to las colinas so needed a new dry cleaners. Started using Zoom two months ago. So far, no issues. Clothes are ready when they say they will be, shirts look great. Will continue using. Finding a good dry cleaners in your neighborhood is a good thing!

I love the convenience, but unfortunately, these guys have broken too many of my clothes. My stuff is constantly coming back with buttons broken or missing, holes torn, and bleach marks. And while other places have no problem, my shirt collars always come back looking the same as when I took them in. They can’t seem to actually clean my shirts.

Call me naïve, but when you go to a dry cleaner with your shirts, don’t you usually expect them to be dry cleaned?
Rather, I was greeted by a bunch of young, cackling girls, who took my shirts and then told me to stop back the next day. When I did, I had more stains on the shirts then when I brought them in. When I asked what this was, they said it was starch that was applied after they were washed.
In addition, I brought in the sportcoat to be de-​linted It had more lint when I picked it up than when I dropped it off. It certainly was not wearable. When I asked their manager, Tony, about it, he said the girls went over it several times with the lint brush. Only he was not as eloquent and his words.
He refused to take any money off of the order, and when I inquired about the five dollar off coupon that was printed on the back of his card, he said that was for first-​time visitors only. I told him that this was my first time here. He said no, you came in here to drop the order off, so technically this is your second time here. He would not honor that coupon
I think one thing that this is a testimony to is that you can be whatever you want to be — And Tony’s case, it shows that you can be rude, not good at your job, not really care, and do nothing to make amends with the customer after you deliver poor service. And you can still manage the shop

Great service, great prices, great job! This is my favorite place in the metroplex for dry cleaning. They are good about letting you know when they can’t get a stain out and I appreciate they’re same day service.

I urge you not to use this place. The first time I went, they lost an expensive item. When I inquired about it, I received attitude from the woman working the desk. Conveniently, they don’t provide an itemized receipt when dropping off. I’m highly disappointed as I thought this new place would be quick, easy and convenient. I will be returning to the reliable Hackberry Cleaners just up the street instead. Other patrons should do the same. Fortunately, Zoom is not the only business in town.

Love this place! Friendly and professional, great customer service, drive through drop off and pick up, email notifications, Eco-​friendly commercial materials and affordably priced. The whole package. Highly recommended.
