Sprint Store

Great customer service at this store! There’s sometimes a wait, especially during lunch and right after work hours, but it’s worth it to get people who know what they’re talking about and really want to help you.

Surprisingly, I actually had a good experience at a Sprint store. I walked in and was serviced right away. My associate Kale was friends and light hearted. He was not pushy and provided me with all the information i needed. Thanks Kale!!!

Waiting 45 minutes to upgrade my iPhone. Hey Sprint store if you didn’t waste so much time trying to push your low end speakers and horribly priced accessories maybe you wouldn’t have so many pissed off people in your lobby. This is not a good Sprint location if you can go to another.

We got a TERRIBLE guy at this location. All he would say was «This is the plan you want» over and over, instead of answering our questions about our options.
Sprint must really be pressuring their staff to push this «iPhone for life» phone leasing deal. I wanted to see the details in writing for the service agreement, to verify that the price for the service plan would not increase during the lease period (this plan is NOT a service contract so who’s to say Sprint won’t up the monthly service cost whenever they please? At least help is verify this by showing us the agreement), but the associate replied, «I’m not going to spend an hour looking for this in writing.»
When I asked to speak to the manager, to see if someone else might be able to help us obtain a copy of the agreement we’d be signing before we actually signed it, the guy went to the back for a minute, then came back and told us with a smirk that since his manager was out, he was the manager on duty. We left. Now considering a new carrier when our contract ends in a month.

Unfortunately I could not give zero stars. Here is my letter to Sprint corporate:
The primary reason for my dissatisfaction is that I took my phone in to be services and also purchased a new phone. The Sprint rep, Jamaal, advised me that they’d work on the phone to try and retrieved my contacts and photos. I left the phone at the store and left the next day for a business trip. When I returned to the store on August 5^th I was told by Jamaal that he was not sure what happened to the phone. Today I went in and spoke with a manager and was told the phone was bought back during my transaction and the credit applied toward a case the rep kept pushing on me. The rep told me the case was on sale for $ 20. He did not say that he was keeping my phone. I expressly told him that I wanted to keep my phone. He also did not provide me with a receipt at the time of the transaction. In hindsight, I believe he did not want me to know that he was submitted this as a buyback. On August 6, Jamaal called me in the morning apologizing for accidentally donating my phone. He said his manager was in Kansas City for a conference and that he could apply a credit of $ 100 on my account. I told him I was not comfortable with that and called the store. The manager, Louis Lupinacci, said he’d inquire and call me back. When he called back, he was prior and went so far as to call me a liar when I went to the store after he said «The phone is gone and there’s nothing that could be done about it.» He also refused to provide me the contact information for the district manager. When I my phone has been taken without my permission, his response was «prove it.» I asked him why I would come immediately to the store to pick up my phone after my business trip if I had consented to a buyback and he said, «well that what you said» insinuating that I was again being dishonest. He claimed that he called Jamaal and spoke with him and now he had a different story. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I was literally in tears in the store. This manager, Louis, was extremely condescending and to add insult to injury, called the police saying I was being belligerent because I didn’t want to leave without my phone. There are some serious unethical business practices going on at this store. I believe that phones are being «bought back» without the consumer’s permission. I am requesting that video from the store be reviewed. I am filing a complaint with the BBB, the Texas Attorney General and every review site I can find. I was a loyal customer for 2 years with 4 lines. I will be cancelling all lines and moving my business to a competitor. Now I will be without a phone of any kind because i have to return the new Galaxy S5 and Sprint retained my old phone without my permission. I did not sign any documents authorizing a buyback. Thanks Sprint.

When we decided to switch from Straight Talk (which I wouldn’t recommend to my enemy) to a major carrier, we did a lot of research before deciding to go with Sprint. We had had Verizon prior to our Straight Talk fiasco and hadn’t been satisfied enough to go back to them. After some online research, we felt Sprint’s plans were affordable and filled our cell phone service needs. The only decision we needed to make at that point were which phones to get.
As soon as we walked into this particular Sprint store, we were greeted politely and warmly by several Sprint associates. Derrick, Lead Retail Consultant, directed us to the available phones and patiently explained the details and all the bells and whistles related to each phone. We were very impressed with his expertise and knowledge (and, once again, his patience). Derrick was able to answer absolutely every question we had. When there was some question on whether or not we would be able to take advantage of Sprint’s current promotion of a $ 100 discount per phone (since we weren’t switching from a major carrier) Derrick researched several options, made some calls and ultimately made it possible for us to take advantage of the promotional discount.
Several days later, my husband was having a problem taking advantage of his company’s cell phone discount (they offer a generous 25% discount to employees and we weren’t about to lose that). Since Derrick was so helpful the first time, my husband went in to talk to him. Derrick was again extremely helpful. He made a few calls, and printed and filled out a voucher so that my husband would be sure to receive the company discount. He even gave my husband the envelope to mail the voucher. Now that’s service!
We’ve been very satisfied with our Sprint phones and service. I would definitely recommend this particular Sprint store. I would also recommend talking to Derrick if at all possible.
