I finally had to leave a review for this great place after visiting here with my coworkers several times over the last two years and never had a single issue with quality of food or service. It’s something to show when food fare as simple as burgers and pizza can be done better than it’s corporate competitors. I always get the ½ burger special with fries. The burgers have a down home made in your mom’s kitchen feel and the beef patties are nice and thick! Fries are super crispy but also large like a steak fry style. The nice people who work here are always attentive and listening. I hope this place stays open for a long time because corporate food sucks and this is the real deal. p.s — my friends always either have spaghetti n meatballs, or sub sandwiches, no complaints! This is a REAL review.

Customer service was good. It was our first time there. My husband and I got a bang for our buck. Food was fresh, made to order. We played pinball while we waiting for our food. Place is like old west with your traditional smalltown American home feel. Was able even to watch a baseball game. We will return!

I would give a better review except they give themselves extra profit for every credit card or atm purchase. If you are going to take credit cards suck it up it is a part of being a business. 4÷8÷16: To top it off they are thinking of rasing the fee to .75.

The hot sandwiches are terrific. Unfortunately, they charge a fee to use your credit card. That kind of behavior is just plain wrong. If we don’t stand up to it, then everyone will be charging fees to use credit cards.

The pizza is good and a pretty good macro source. The pizza doesn’t actually taste like cardboard like other joints. You get free salads too if you get a meal m

So my office decided to have lunch since we work down the streets from tonys we all got the pasta and meat balls and we all ask for extra meat balls when we got our order. To our surprise we only got 4 meat balls so our question is how many meat balls dose this order come with ??

On the weekend this restaurant is only open for private parties, and is known as «Tony’s on Aviation.» My wife held a surprise 50th Birthday party for me a couple of weekends ago, and all had a fantastic time. The prices for a private party is very reasonable. All of the food that was served buffet style was excellent. We had pizzas, a variety of sandwiches, chicken, fries, and a salad bar. The package comes with unlimited soft drinks. They also serve beer and wine at a nominal cost. The room is large and accommodate a very large party. There are plenty of parking available on property. The owner Tony, is great. Very friendly and helpful. I look forward to having another party here in the future.

It’s like a dive, dimly lit and feels like it’s been here forever. The burgers and fries are a good combo for lunch, it’s filling and cheap. The subs looked good too, maybe next time, love that they melt the cheese properly. The fries aren’t bad either, I can’t finish them it’s like a pile made from two giant potatoes. The taste of the burger patty is something special. Like my fellow lunch-mate said, «It tastes like I’m in someone’s backyard and I should be getting drunk off beers right now». Though they serve fancy mixed drinks for $ 5 and have a $ 1.25 beer special on Thursdays, I wouldn’t really come here to drink. It’s a very manly place, like you’ve stepped into a saloon in the old west kinda vibe. Or maybe because I noticed mostly men visit this establishment just looking around during lunch hour. Just looking around you immediately can tell what people do: painters with paint on their clothes, the Northrop people from across the street and paramedic/firemen in their uniforms… holla Station 18. ;)

The place is awesome. Two things I like the most: the food of course, and the atmosphere. Down to earth. Your traditional old school I just want to go get some pizza wings subs and beer kind of place. Prices are good, and the portions are huge. Go there on a game day/night.

This place is disgusting. Mariana sauce tasted it was out of a can. Chicken tasted old and it was dry and not well-seasoned. I will never return

I’ve been eating here since they were in a hole in the wall across the street. I can’t talk about their pizza cuz I haven’t had any, but the sandwiches have always been fresh and when you get one with everything have some napkins cause it will drip. I hope to come back soon

I go here all the time nad they are very friendly and the prices are excellent. They do have beer as beer and pizza go hand in hand. They also make a pretty good burger as well. Plenty of seating for that special event. try it and you will be going back as I do.

Tony’s is cheap and the good sized portions but there is a reason why this place is referred to as Ptomaine Tony’s. On more than one occasion, I have had work mates drag me there and so far I am batting about 0.666, with the other 1⁄3 of the time I ended up few hours later expelling uncontrolled massive quantities of liquids from one orifice or another. Maybe I just have some allergic reaction to some unique spice(although I doubt that) Tony’s uses, but not worth the chance if you ask me.

Cheap Italian Lunch If you have a $ 5, you can eat well here. Choices are hot and cold subs(highly recommend their ½ order), pizza, spaghetti, lasagna. Everything a growing boy could want. Your lunch is assembled fresh and still quick enough you can get to that really important meeting(or not). There are NO red and white checkered table cloths or waiter service.

This is one of those places you visit to get a great lunch and simultaneously step back in time. It’s location near LAX means that you end up with as much people watching to do as eating. I ordered the #9 Cold Sandwich(ham, pepperoni, capicola and cheese). It was excellent. The mix of extras was perfect and the bread was nice and soft. The most amazing thing about it though was the price. I got a half sandwich(normally something which is verboten in my book) for $ 4.50 and it ended up being about ten inches long … and three inches wide! Great value! My friend ordered the special for the day, which was a half-pound cheeseburger and fries for $ 5. More excellent value, though in this case the burger was only middle of the road taste-wise. The fries were very good though. Definitely worth getting on the side of any sandwich. All in all, a fun experience and I look forward to my next visit.

The tuna sandwhich has become my favorite item there. It never disappoints for $ 4.35. Earns an extra star.

2 ½ stars. Came here with Spencer and Ryan and we all ordered 3 different subs upon recommendations from the place. I ordered a half sub for less than $ 5 and it’s almost a foot long! I was pretty impressed. We got our subs to go. When we got home it turned out they made the same sandwich for both Spencer and myself, oh well. We got a cold cut sandwich, I think the #9(?). Ryan got the meatball sandwich. Sub was not too impressive with the bread being the weakest link. Bread was just terrible. Almost like store bought bread which made the entire sub taste store bought. In fact Ryan said it tasted like a Von’s sub. Yeah. Honestly I would’t necessarily come back but the price is pretty awesome. Again, less than $ 5 and you score a sub that’s about 10″ long. And that’s a half-sub. Hard to beat that price.
