Owner reached out to me and offered me a meal on the house. I’m going to be honest and say that you can really tell the place is under new management. They’re updates inside. The place is more clean and now has a flat screen tv for you to watch as you wait for your food. The improvements have made the place look a ton better. The food taste good. I had the catfish, snapper, shrimp, hush puppies and fries. Everything satisfied my taste buds. I’m all about second chances and I will be revisiting in the future.

Just wanted to say I was sooooo happy tonight with my fish I found out that its under new ownership the place is starting to look way better then it used to… the young men behind the counter were excellent the new owner was there tonight after I went to three other spots that were closed and he accommodated me. I’ve been coming here for years!!! This is the best and most fresh seafood in this area. The staff are friendly, courteous, and professional.

Discovered this gem! Delicious! Perfectly flavored and carefully fried (still moist) fish, homemade tartar and hot sauce. I’m very careful where I eat, but this place is clean, well managed (new ownership), and puts quality back into a neighborhood where good food is lacking. Definitely going to frequent this spot.

I’m very upset about my food. First of all it took way too long to get it. The lady who took my order was too busy having a side conversation. My food sat for several minutes and I had to keep saying excuse me to get her attention… I get back to work only to find hair in my damn food… I will never be back…

Got the 8 fish 8 shrimp dinner meal with 2 types of fish (sole and catfish) and mac salad to share with the hubs. Got the fries «crispy» — keep in mind they won’t do this on Fridays as this is a busy day. Everything was delish. Shrimp are huge. Pan de sal (Filipino or Mexican dinner rolls) instead of thin sandwich bread usually served at fish spots was a major plus. Has probably replaced our old fish spot, although hubs says he likes catfish at old fish spot better — he’s sentimental like that.

I can’t believe I’ve never eaten here. I’ve lived in Inglewood my whole life and I’ve missed this place. Shrimp and fish (red snapper) were perfectly fried wish a light batter and fries. The hush puppies were just okay, and fries were good for frozen fries. 3 pieces of fresh fish, 5 butterfly shrimp, bread, hush puppies, pickle and fries for $ 10. Can’t beat that. I’ll definitely be back.

The worst customer service ever!!! I’ve come here a lot and every single time I’ve came the customer service is really bad. The food is just ok nothing special and with the way they act you would think this is the best fish market in the world. If I could give them zero stars I would. If you want excellent food with excellent service then this isn’t the place for you.

My favorite part of Los Angeles is the food and Pico Seafood is now at the top of my list of options.
I seriously considered changing my flight this morning or «missing» it so I could go back for lunch today!
Fresh fish. Nicely fried and seasoned. I’m a louisiana native so my expectations were very high and they were exceeded. I recommend the lunch menu we had 5 pieces of fish (can mix) & shrimp for $ 10. Added on the oysters for $ 4.50.
I can’t wait to get back here in March. I’m coming straight from the airport!

How could this place be rated at 4 stars if it’s dirty. It was full of flies, a huge line to pick up your phone order and horrible costumer service.
The seafood in the fridge looked old. I wouldn’t recommend it to no one.

Do not mistake this place for the knock off Louisiana Pico fish market in Long Beach, this is called the original for a reason. The shrimp and fish is cooked perfectly and has very good flavor, I really enjoyed it. It is a little hole in the wall with limited parking, but most of these are the best places, give them a try they will not disappoint.

Just amazing… This is real southern style fried fish, nothing extra. Crispy as all get out, FRESH! I will say that again FRESH! On so many occasions I have encountered fried fish that wasn’t fresh. Especially at those * Louisiana* fried places run by God knows who. Selling old fish that isn’t even seasoned properly.
If you have any doubt about this place, don’t. Its the real deal.

My fave place to get fried fish and shrimp. Batter isn’t overseasoned, and the people are cool. We had a big order once, and they were very timely, and the food was soooooo good.

Price: 4⁄5 — The pricing is pretty good. Definitely prefer the family size portions when splitting it with one or two people. Makes it that much more worth it.
Quality: 4⁄5 — Normally with bad fish establishments you can smell fish, usually means the fish is going bad. Not this place, its small but it’s clean! The food is pretty good too. Seasonings aren’t too out of hand with their food you actually taste the fish!
Service: 4⁄5 — You can place an order for pickup (Preferred) or wait about 15 min for your food if you order there. Never had an issue with customer service the several times I’ve visited.
Décor: 3⁄5 — Pretty plain, get your food and go. You come for the food not the décor.
Come here for good fish for a good price. Phone ahead to save time and order the family sized portions. Definitely get more bang for your buck.
