I am a loyal customer and today I had the worst experience ever. My tortilla chips were undercooked and dripping with oil. The kid ignored me in order to flirt with another customer and to top it off he forgot my drink. My advice to management: dont let kids cover shifts alone. I hope my next trip to El Tarascos is worth a positive review. Goodnight from this disgruntled customer.

I love this place! Good food and great, fast service. Ive tried a little bit of everything but my favorite is the #5 with cheese. They have taco for $ 1.50 cooked outside but only Fridays and Saturdays between 5 pm-12 am! They are the BOMB Everyone is so friendly there and always make me laugh. This place never fail to please me

The location is not the best, at all! The food is delicious and they are 24 hours which is hard to find for a good, authentic Mexican food restaurant. I’ve been to the Manhattan Beach, Westchester and Lawndale locations and they are in better neighborhoods/locations. The chips and salsa are delicious … I can’t get enough of it even though they give you A LOT with your order. That salsa is delicious I can eat it all day. I always order the El Tarasco burrito. It is soooo flavorful, super juicy and simple. You really can’t go wrong ordering just about anything on the menu here.

Went to get some takeout for Bear and this location was still open late at night. We have been to the Manhattan Beach location which we liked a lot. This location was a little dodgy. Maybe it was my experience because it was so late at night but it just looked like the wrong place to be at the wrong time! That being said, I have to add that the service was nice and the food was tasty.

This is a good spot to get some authentic type Mexican food. They have tacos fired up outdoors in the afternoons. Bomb breakfast and burritos. Love the asada nachos.

Live around the corner from here. Potato Tacos are good, and the salsa is pretty good. It’s often slow. Hope they are making money. I will come back for the tacos.

My friend Took me here again this afternoon to eat. I don’t really like the food here so I didn’t want to go. He said let me order for you so I did. The guacamole was the best I’ve ever had The service was better, The Place was cleaner. The whole neighborhood there has cleaned up very nice no more bombs or hookers. The new businesses seem to have really upgraded the area. It was very nice to sit out and have lunch and look around and not see trash and graffiti. Kudos to the neighborhood…

This is the second time I ate here and the first was way better. The fact that they have a lunch special with $ 5.75 clearly listed then say oh we changed our prices says a lot. I doubt that I will be coming back… just on principal.

What I ordered: I had the chicken taquitos combo with rice, refried beans, guacamole and a little salad… that they kinda throw in the mix but on the side. Maybe that’s a Mexican food thing… I like it… It adds a little freshness/lightness to the dish. They included a side of Pico De Gallo and salsa with the meal. The food was hot, fresh and was ready to be devoured by the time we returned home from picking it up.(take-out) The Blast: I’ve had El Tarasco several times in the past but, ordered different dishes. I’ve ordered the beef taquitos combo…& I wasn’t crazy about the beef itself. It was nothing to brag about whatsoever. The chicken taquitos saved the day for me. They weren’t stingy on the quantity of the shredded chicken filling. The seasoning of the meat was good and it wasn’t dry. The fried taquito shell had a slight crispness to it and wasn’t overly saturated in oil & also wasn’t dry. It hit the spot & I would order again. You get a nice helping of whole fried tortillas(chips) with the order as well. I love those things… With the salsa, they HIT! The employees are always helpful and polite. Cool Mexican people for real. I’m a black dude so I dig it. Location: I can’t lie… It’s kinda ‘hood adjacent’ if not.hood. lol! I pretty much live in the hood so errr aahhh… Yeah. It’s a ‘walk up to the window and order/no nonsense’ kinda vibe. I don’t mind places like this.(You can be in Beverly Hills and get robbed! Just sayin…) I’ve had GREAT food from many places of the same type environment. The Rating: At this point, I give it an overall 3 stars rating. *The pic posted of the burrito is that of a chicken/beef combo. That day… The beans were dry and I had no idea why… The rice was cool. But yeah… the beef was still less to be desired and the chicken was cool. Note to self: Stay away from the beef. My 3 star rating stands. *

Get the Super Deluxe burrito, that’s the specialty. The food is just okay nothing special. The nice order taker recommended that I get the Super Deluxe burrito but it reminded me of Taco Bell food. I also asked for the hottest chili in my burrito, it was very mild so that was also a disappointment

Been coming here for years and everything USED to be great. Now you don’t get the same amount of quantity of food and thing got more expensive and they use to take card but now all of the sudden their«credit card machine is broken.»(they put a new ATM machine which equals surcharges) its a shame, I won’t be eating there anymore.

Well after not such a great experience at Acosta just blocks away I’m here at El Tarasco, as you can see this is no fancy restaurant (will explain below). So I take a quick look at the menu too much to look at and I don’t see tacos listed, so I ask do you have tacos, and they said YES! I then noticed a list of different meats they offer and proceeded to order tacos, I ordered four different and when he gave me the total I didn’t know if I should laugh or cry!, $ 3.00PERTACO, I said are you kidding me?, he looked at me like«I» was CRAZY… I told him in LA you can get tacos like this all day long for $ 1.00 — $ 1.50 and he said OH but you haven’t had these, they are different, much better and bigger!, so I paid the man, now let’s see these tacos that are so «different». Tacos — Taco de Lengua — Well first the tacos are bigger, the tongue was tough and flavorless, reminded me of my first kiss!, unfortunately not a good thing when it comes to tacos, and pico de gallo WHY, WHY, WHY do you put this CRAP on tacos… 1-Star Tacos — Taco de Carne Asada — Three words is all I need, Flavorless, Tough and Chewy…1-Star Taco de Al Pastor — Definitely not any al pastor off a trompo, adobo or marinade is weak not very good al pastor. 2-Stars Taco de Carnitas — As a BIG fan of the PIG, I must say this was the best of the meats I tried, with that said it still was just OK, nothing special… 3-Stars After they dump pico de gallo all over the tacos, they give you other salsa in these white styrofoam cups which was like a pureed pico de gallo, I asked if they had a other hotter salsa and then I was given this Hmm this is some good salsa!, so why not just use this instead of pico de gallo? El Tarasco… How do you legitimize charging $ 3.00 per taco at a place like this?, and they are not even good!

This is fairly good mexican joint. It’s pretty much cash and dash, as you order at a window and can eat outside. But you’ll be in the middle of Inglewood, so for most I would recommend just eating at home. I love the Super Deluxe burrito which comes wet with a nice mole sauce topped with cheese and a nice dollop of guacamole. For about 7 bucks you get a big wet burrito and large drink along with some salsa and«chips». I put chips in quotes since the chips are really just fried tortillas, like actual whole tortillas lol. So really, they re just tostadas.

This El Tarasco is legit cause it has no indoor seating whatsoever. It’s just a stand that you walk up to. It makes me feel so Socal whenever I come here. This is the place to go for some awesome late night enchilada plates, cause it’s open til 2am. I like the cheese enchiladas with rice and refried beans, served in a little foil dish. Actually everything is served in the foil dishes… be careful cause when I’ve been trying to take my food out of the brown paper bag I have been burned on these bad boys. Also diggin the chips and salsa and horchata. Staff is nice and service is fast, although if you’re waiting outside on a chilly evening it can feel like it takes forever. Prices could be a little lower.
