Great food, greatdrinks, great service, and a mechanical bull. This all-american country bar is a venue you need to check out.

Was a little nervous to eat here. I have been here multiple times but always for drinks and fun, never food. Was downtown the other day and figured I would give it a shot. I had a pork tenderloin and wife had a pulled pork sandwich. They were both excellent! I was extremely surprised at the quality of the food AND the service. I figured this place was just a bar. It absolutely was more than that. This was my spot to come whenever I wanted to get out on the town and have some fun. Always a blast. Now, Its my spot when I want to get food as well. Pleasantly surprised!

One of the bars on my bar hopping tour. Good, decent prices during inflated convention. Fun music, there’s a mechanical bull in there, although last time I was there(a year ago) a girl who got on had busted the thing so I’m not sure if that’s open again

Slow service and dry sandwiches. Also cold French fries. Kyle never got his red potatoes. Not good overall ***update Kyle got his red potatoes after an hour wait. They weren’t worth it.

Didn’t realize they served food here lol, but everything was amazing! They do a great job keeping up with enormous amount of drink orders, and have a great attitude while doing so! Indy has much to offer with places like this!

Is there any redeeming value to the Ranch? $ 1 Bud Lights on Thursdays. If you don’t mind drinking yellow beer, this is the place to go. That’s it. That’s the review. The End. Really though if you have some time to burn, and just want to watch a little SportsCenter, it’s alright to go there. In fact, if you go there early enough, you might have the place all to yourself. I don’t know why some groups want to host events/parties there, but if it’s space you are looking for they do have it. Lots of it. I don’t know why there is a discrepancy in service, but the folks in the front bar are generally attentive, and the people in the back bar are whack. And while there is a bigger crowd later in the evening and on the weekends, is it a better crowd? There is a reason the Ranch is open only from Thursdays to Saturdays. I walked by one time early in the week, and thought it was closed for good.

Worst service I have ever had. I have been a server for 10+ years and even on my worst days I would never treat my guests the way our server treated us. Very disappointed in not only the food but the the manager, the service, everything. JUSTABSOLUTELYAWFUL!!!

Night scene was my bad. I was part of a big group that rented out a section of the place. Good vibe, drinks are priced pretty decent, customer service pretty good, ppl are fun. Nothing bad to say, bottom line

What kind of desperate bar charges for water?! I’m literally sitting here right now at my bachelorette party and they charged for water. The dance floor is empty. Guess they have to make $$ somehow. Special thanks to the blonde bitch with poofy poodle hair: she is the one who charged. Pretty sure you have to supply water at bars. #justsaying.

This place is a real shit show. Great people watching at it’s best. I don’t think if frequent this place if I lived in Indy but I’d go once in awhile for a good show.

Once we actually located the place, by the way it is not at 39 W. Jackson Place like Google maps says it is, it is actually on Meridian north of South St. next to Bartini’s, it was a nice place. The staff is excellent, the food was really good ! We had the soft pretzels and the flatbread pizza’s, we were also the first ones to have one of their tankers of beer, 100 oz of cold beer !

My brother sold me with these five words: half. priced. apps. on. thursdays. Needless to say, I was totally in it to win it. We headed down for an earlier happy hour today after an exhausting day at the Children’s Museum. We got there around 4:45pm, and at that time of day the place was totally dead. I don’t even think they were monitoring their dress code quite yet. Personally, I love going to a restaurant when it’s empty because there’s nooo excuse for poor service. Our waitress was really easy going, nice, and prompt. As we sat in our booth, we decided on nachos and the loaded fries to start. I feel like I fixate on these two items more often than not, but I know what I love. I also ordered the Jack Punch in das boot(because it was only $ 5, so many reasons to love Thursdays!). My drink came due haste. It was sweet, pink, and delicious. I don’t always do whiskey, but when I do it’s Jack Tennessee Honey in a tasty cocktail. The apps followed, and we quickly started tearing them apart. The loaded fries have melted cheddar and bacon on them. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Dip those in some ranch and you’ve got yourself some sophistication. Next, the nachos. I would kind of consider myself a nacho connoisseur, and these did not disappoint. The chilli was good, they were well layered, and they were big enough to share with 4 – 5 people. I enjoyed my stay here, but I cannot imagine what it’s like when the place gets packed. I had an easy going time though and would definitely recommend this place to friends.

Country band playing was pretty good but forget trying to have a conversation. I know it’s a bar but it was extremely loud. If you’re coming solely to listen to live music, then this is your spot. Otherwise, get everything said before you enter. Like its couterpart, Bartinis, mixed drinks are watered down so my advice is stick to beer. On a prior occassion, this girl accused me of stealing money out of her purse and threatening me. We were seated at two barstools for twenty minutes or so when some girl with an attitude stood next to us mumbling this and that. Apparently, there is assigned seating here. Once you’ve sat in a spot, it’s yours all night long and if you’re dumb enough to leave a purse on a barstool seat and it happens to slide off onto the floor that is ammunition to go off on innocent people. Note to self: Pull out my flashlight and check the floor for fallen purses. Then, make a round around the bar asking each person if the seat is taken before sitting. Like rolling dice — never know who you will cross paths with here.

I’m not a bar person. Even casually, I don’t remember the last time I was in a bar. I was doing some business with Roberts Camera across the street and was looking around the downtown area, taking some photos, and thought about getting a snack to hold me until I could stop for a real meal. I had returned from Monument Circle and Circle City Mall, etc. and remembered something about Union Station being a big deal. Forgive me, but I was out of state for 22 years. Things change, right? I walked past many doors that seemed to be forever closed. At the end, the door worked and I entered. I didn’t see much but a large restaurant/bar. I talked to the person out front of the place. He told me that everything else had closed a long, long time ago. He also told me that they had appetizers for half price, $ 1.00 beer, and they were not busy. It seemed perfect.(Not that I like beer, but everyone made it out like I should be happy, so I smiled.) Jason brought me a menu, introduced himself, and as I looked over the appetizers, I ordered an iced tea and the mini fish tacos. I was in the San Fran Bay Area in August and didn’t get fish tacos but every other kind. I was in Philly/New Jersey in June and got some fish tacos that made me sick so I was interested to see what this restaurant had. The iced tea wasn’t bad – typical of what you get in most of the states. It could have been from Kroger or Marsh. When the fish tacos arrived, I was psyched. If you haven’t tried Rubio’s in Southern California or Beto’s in Orlando, Florida, you don’t know what you’re missing. They may not even be the best. The fish tacos here were really good. They didn’t seem to have the mayonnaise/chipotle sauce that some places have but they had a cup of red salsa on the side. Now, if I was paying full price, I might be more critical, and with the tip, it ended up being priced like a meal at a cheap chain restaurant but it really was good and I would certainly return.

Cadillac Ranch, you might just be my kryptonite. I have happened to find myself in this establishment a couple of times(my 25th birthday and the Unilocal,Like, 80’s Prom). I always go in to the night just expecting a fun, laid back, night with friends, but this last time I found myself shamefully stumbling around and waving my white patent pleather pumps in the air in an effort to gather my(also stumbly) friends and hail a cab. Not my proudest moment. There is something about this place that always makes me want to go a little beyond ‘fun and laid back’. It might be the low drink prices(and multiple bars that are always easily accessible), the dance floor calling my name, or the hilarity that ensues from pressuring people to ride the bull… I honestly have no idea, but I have never been to Cadillac ranch and not yelled«shots!» .It just brings out the ‘woo! girl’ hiding deep inside of me.

We had fun during the St. Patty’s Pub Crawl. 10:00 — 3:00 not enough time to thoroughly visit all nine bars but we gave it a good try. Fun to watch what alcohol does for peoples courage on the bull!!! Funny! The Bar is large, several different areas of seating, spacious enough for various group events. Bathrooms were horrible but that’s only because women couldn’t seem to find the trash cans or throw TP all over the floor. Played a nice variety of music while we were there. Tried a couple of their St. Patty’s Day specials. I had the reuben with fries and my husband had the fish and chips. Rueben was average, fries good and breading on fish wasn’t my hubsands favorite but still acceptable. Overall food was ok but wouldn’t come back just for the food we tried. Bartenders and Servers were super friendly and bartender made me a special drink since I was the DD. We’d give it another shot if downtown looking for a cold beverage or a spot for a large group of us.
