Great place to bring all your friends out and have the time of your life. 3 bars, a huge dance floor, and top of the line v.i.p seating. This place is second to none for indy night life.

This place is so fun. They have three bars so you don’t have to wait long for drinks. The dance floor is huge. I love that also connected to it is Cadillac Ranch so it’s two bars in one.

I was a bit disappointed We went for Ladies Night and were underwhelmed. The atmosphere was smoky. There was no room to sit. It was all very unwelcoming or intended for a short stay. Our mission was to dance. The music was the best part of the night; however where we suppose to sit to cool down? It would be dope if they had more bar stools or a better lounge option outside of wind down from dancing all over the place. Also, the dress code should be enforced for both men and women.

Do not go here if you value your safety, like to be treated fairly by management and/or security, or have any shred of self-respect. Here’s why: Last weekend, a group of friends and I traveled to Indianapolis for a bachelorette party, and had heard great things about both Cadillac Ranch and Bartini’s, so we decided to go there, and though it would be a great two-for-one, since they connect. We had a large group — about 20 girls — and we were all dressed up(sparkly dresses, heels, the whole nine, it was a bachelorette party, after all — and we all spent a lot of time and money at this bar, since there really weren’t that many other bars within walking distance.) We had been there a an hour or so and were all on the dance floor, having a great time. I’m a pretty outgoing and friendly person, so when I saw a girl(who I didn’t know, FYI) that had some pretty killer dance moves, I decided to tell her. Everyone loves a compliment, right? Well, not so much. I tapped her on the shoulder and said, «Your dance moves are legit!» And her friend, who I wasn’t even addressing, immediately got into my face, yelling and screaming at me to go away, saying really nasty things about how I didn’t know them and shouldn’t talk to them. It was obvious that not only was she ridiculously drunk, but also had serious anger and aggression issues. I really am not a confrontational person, and I was so shocked, I just stood there with my mouth open. She proceeded to them try to attack me and had to be physically restrained by not only security, but her friends as well(who later apologized to me.) After the incident, I was sure she was going to be kicked out — she tried to physically attack me for no apparent reason, so I thought it would be a given. Um, not so much. Security came up to me — and instead of APOLOGIZING for what had just happened, told me that all they saw was an altercation, and they should really kick us both out. Excuse me?! Since when is that the appropriate action when someone takes a swing at another person, unprovoked, to kick them both out? I was so beyond disgusted, and upset, so ended up going outside by myself, partially from being upset and partially because I didn’t want to be in the room as an obviously dangerous person. I then decided to complain to the manager about what had happened, because it was simply unacceptable. I was a paying customer, and I deserved to be treated with respect at the very least, and if not, management should have taken care of it. AND– it was a matter of physical safety. While the manager was sympathetic, he really didn’t do anything except offer me a free drink. So there you have it — someone takes a swing at you in Bartini’s — and all you get out of it is a $ 3 Bud Light. PS the girl later got kicked out because she tried to start a fight with another girl in our group.

The establishment itself is great: multiple bar tops so you don’t have to wait long for drinks, good prices, free cover on Thursdays, and a large dance floor. The problem with Bartinis is that if you are a female on the dance floor you can almost bet your life savings that a guy will push up from behind you and have to be shoved off. I’ve had a real problem with it a couple of times and security was great about controlling the situation. Sometimes the bartenders can be very rude. If you can’t handle working around intoxicated people all night then don’t. I used to go here A LOT but I’m 24 now and I’m over the scene. Its a great place for party-hard 21 – 22 year olds.

This review may be a lil long because club life is just like that sometimes. I’ve gone to Bartini’s since they first opened up some years ago… I’ve seen the space expand, the crowd change, the menu get an update, the specials get a little more special… The club is connected to Caddillac Ranch(I will review seperately) and almost to the tail end of south Meridian street. If you’re coming in from out-of-town, South Meridian is one of the familiar party spots for convention, tourism, and travel guests of the city. Most people are utlizing car service or walking to their destiniation, and the bars and clubs along the strip are a within a few blocks of the many downtown hotels and sport attractions. The set up– Open Thursday thru Saturday with some special events that are usually announced via twitter and radio other days of the week. Usually free before 10 and sometimes passes are avaible if you call in on the radio. You can also go into Bartini’s from Caddillac Ranch, so most people go there early on to have food and drinks then over to the club area. Lines are usually longer on Friday or Saturday. Doormen/Bouncers– Although, I’m familiar with a lot of them. Some of the guys at the door are really uptight pricks just being honest. They tend to have a chip on their shoulder. I’ve been cursed at and called a B**** by one of them. I’ve also been knocked over the head a few times while they’ve thrown people out way too aggressively. That being said some of them are really sweethearts, helping you down the stairs, wishing you a safe night. A lot of them deserve a raise especially«Lion» he’s probably the best in the city! Bathroom– Often a first stop for the ladies, the bathroom usually has an attendant on busy nights keeping everyone smelling good and looking sexy(i.e. no toilet paper on your heels) HOWEVER prepare for the bathroom to look like high hell any other night. Even when mentioning it to someone, girls have a tendency to clog toilets, vomit may be on the floor, half full drinks everywhere, water and paper towels strewn across the sinks. Even the stalls can be a hot mess — broken doors, no toilet paper, toilet not flushing. Bar– It’s always great to make friends with the bartenders. By that I mean, have your drink order and money ready. Be loud enough to be heard, but kind. You’ll get a drink that’s not too watered down. You do have to wait sometime before you actually get that drink, but the bartenders here are top notch compared to other places. Ask for Ashley N. he is AMAAAAZING and his beautiful girlfriend bartends there too. Both provide excellent service! We personally try to find both because they just know what they are doing, and are super friendly also two of Indy’s best! Servers/VIP– You used to be able to go on a Thursday and pop a bottle for a really great price, but now that they are all famous those prices have gone up! I’m only joking, Thursday is still one of their best days. I haven’t been in a while, but the specials on thursday are the bomb. $ 1-$ 3 drinks and a live DJ starting at 10pm for no cover is a great deal to start your weekend drinking. The VIP consists of three or four sections(I believe) two are located near the stage area. You have to have a wristband to enter and of course get your own server, and private bouncer. The chairs are white couches(do not stand on them) and the tables are low to the ground and wide so there isn’t much room for dancing. Dance Floor– The show piece itself. I have to be honest, Bartini’s has one of the weirdest dance floors. I’m sure there is a reason for the many pillars and stairs and random walls. For instance the wheelchair ramp starts immediately to the right of the dance floor and is difficult to get to. The pilars are close to the floor to encourage setting your drink down before dancing… however, they are kind of in the way. There’s an area for two stunning GOGO dancers on either side near the DJ booth and with the space often being roped off, it consumes even more of the dance floor. Stick to the outside of the floor if you don’t want to get bumped, stepped on, groped, or otherwise hot and sweaty. Music– Top 40, EDM, Rave, Dance, House, Rap, Hip Hop, Old School R and B(Think R kelly)…you’ll hear anything from Banks or Ke$ha to Jay Z and Montell Jordan. Crowd– Trendy, Bratty, Hipster, Sexy, Tourist/Travel, College, Under 40. Enjoy!

Went there for the Comic Con Indy party they had earlier this year. Have to say it was better than I thought it would be. Not the party, that was lame, but the place itself. Beautiful women dancing on stage, awesome dance floor, good VIP sections, and I beautiful bartenders. Also good for people watching, if you are into that kind of thing. All in all, nice place to spend your night life. I personally plan on being a regular there if I can.

Terrible place. Kicked me out saying I was drunk — here’s the kicker, I was the DD and hadn’t had a drink at all. I’ve heard it happening before. I guess they kick you out if you’re not ordering drinks.

This place is gross. That’s about all I have to say about that. It smells like a frat basement, they steal the bar stools so people won’t use them to kill one another, the drinks are terrible, the bartenders ignore you, and the music is completely uninspired. Methinks I’ll never return to a place where they check everyone for weapons at the doors. Or where the bathrooms have higher humidity than saunas. Ew. ew. ew. ew. ew. ew. ew.

Bartini’s knows how to throw a party right. After spending an awesome New Years in their VIP area, i’d highly recommend that avenue for any large party looking for a glamorous Vegas style VIP experience. With table service, dancing girls, great DJ’s and lots of dance floor real estate, it’s the place to be on a weekend. Connected to the popular Cadillac Ranch country western bar, you can change up your scene by walking over to the other half and seeing what the country folk are up to. I plan to check it out soon. Yeehaw! Good service, friendly table servers and reasonable bouncers will get your bar a 4+ star rating in my book. Well done Bartini’s.

We had a group of about 20 people go in on the upper VIP room behind the DJ for New Year’s 2014 and it was incredible! We had no problem getting in with just our names on the list and were escorted straight to our room. It was still pretty early so it wasn’t very crowded. The staff was friendly and attentive. Did not realize they were trying to be all Vegas in this place with the dancing ladies but whatever. We pretty much had our own personal one in front of our room. Ambiance I guess. 3 of the 4 stars I give this place go straight to the DJ. HEWASUNBELIEVABLYAMAZING. Every song was just perfect for the moment and he was mixing beats like GirlTalk style. So impressive. It was a great venue but I know it’s because we spent a lot of money to be comfortable and taken care of the whole night. I don’t think it would be the same if we just showed up. Also, I think I lost my house keys there(yeahhhhh… totally different story about having to stay in a hotel the while first day of the year) and they never found them so that’s a bummer.

I’ve been to this place a few times over the past couple of months and I enjoy coming here. The number 1 thing that I like most about this place is the spacious layout and 3 bars. The dance floor is large and there are a few little hideaway spots if you want to make out. Cover is never that bad, drink prices for more high end drinks are nice(I’m a scotch and cognac drinker) and reasonable. I’ve never been in the VIP sections so I cant comment on bottle service. The DJs always play the latest hits on both Friday and Saturday nights. A little less Pop music would be better for me but that’s just my personal preference. The crowd is definitely casual. Not many sexy dressed females(which kind of sucks but it is Indianapolis) in heels and dresses and the fellas definitely don’t dress to impress here. All in all, a pretty good place to party.

We went to Bartinis before spending some time at Cadillac Ranch which is adjoining. We first stopped in the restroom to get the rain wiped off us from the walk outside. Not a good sign when a girl is giggling to herself at the sink and two girls shortly come out of a stall together after getting blazed. We’re all adults here, I think… if you want to partake in that do it somewhere else. Considering we saw them run out the exit door, I assume they were there just looking for a stopover or got paranoid(wonder why?). Funny part was when we walked out the restroom, my friend commented ‘I think there was something burning in there’. You can say that again! I realize management can’t watch everything that happens but they may want to start keeping an eye on the back restroom. Looking for a good time, not to explain what the smell was. This place was fairly dead, maybe it was all the rain that night. I found the mixed drinks were watered down so just got a beer later. Music wasn’t memorable either. Overall, not someplace I would care to return.

The last place I’d ever like to be is being served by bartenders really trying to be Tom Cruise in Cocktail. I shuffled myself outside to refrain from laughing at the poor décor choices and how anyone could take this place seriously. The couches placed along the back made of white pleather were stained. It was disgusting. Maybe I’m mistaken, but I didn’t think«premier nightclub» meant«leering dudes» or «photos of Daughtry displayed prominently.» I coin the term«Tom Crusing» to what almost every male at this establishment was doing. Hopefully I make John Waters proud.

Very hit-or-miss. Drinks are whatever… you’re here to dance, anyway. The crowd seems to have drifted towards a bit«trashier» clientele over the last year or so. Still, it can be fun if it’s pretty packed and you’ve already got a good buzz going on.

The music was off the hook and the dance floor was packed but when I say that I mean good!!! Bartini’s is the place to be! They had music videos to go along with the music which is always a good touch! The cover is 10.00 but that also covers Cadillac Ranch but remember Bartini’s is where it is at!!!

Meh. Just not my scene. Plays current music. Kinda crowded at times. However, I actually really like the layout, and if everyone wasn’t crammed on the dance floor all at one time, there would be room to move around. Mostly younger crowd.

Bartini’s is a higher end nightclub located in a portion of the old Union Station. It’s attached to the southern end of the Cadillac Ranch, with an entrance that this covered by a railroad bridge. Door men are extremely professional, however they do enforce rules such as dress codes. Baseball hats and jerseys are not allowed to be worn inside the club. There is typically a cover charge to enter the club(prices typically range between $ 5 – 10, depending on whether it’s a high profile weekend). The earlier you arrive the better. Lines can sometimes be long, and security does monitor the crowd side to ensure they don’t exceed fire code limits. Once inside the facility has a night club atmosphere. Three large bars, composing of several bartenders service the crowd. The dance floor is located in the middle of the club, with a VIP section overlooking the floor. There is a large deck/patio area in the back of the club. It is located outdoors, and the customers typically use this area for smoking. The club is connected to the Cadillac Ranch and once inside customers can enjoy both venues. The Cadillac Ranch has a mechanic bull that adds to the overall appeal. There is a smaller dance floor in the ranch, however, the environment is a little more low key than Bartinis(however it’s still loud and energetic). Food can be purchased inside the Cadillac Ranch, however, in you’re in the dancing mood, the Bartini’s side is where you’ll want to be.
