A New Fan of Vietnamese Food… I was invited by a friend and reluctantly went to try some Vietnamese food. He suggested R-4 Grilled Beef Combo so that is what I tried. I was amazed at how good it tasted, so much so that I now eat there several times a week. The portion size was just right, the grilled beef tasted great, and the chicken soup was perfectly flavored as well, the rice was tasty with some Hoisin Sauce. PRO’S Atmosphere was Nice Restaurant was Clean Bathrooms were Clean Staff were well Groomed Servers were Friendly Food was Delicious Prices were Good CON’s This Location Does Not Serve Vietnamese Flan P. S. To Go Orders are prepared and packed fast…

I am just finishing some Phở. It was no good and I saw why. The broth came from plastic jugs of chicken concentrate I saw being carried out in front of me. The chicken was sliced and put in the soup cold. Yuck! They forgot to bring my sandwich and blamed it on a new owner. Glad they forgot. Tan Tan is further away from me but worth the trip. This is my second time here and they forgot my order last time, too. The worst.

First of all, bad service. Second, the food is slightly cheaper compare to other places, but still doesnt worth it. I ordered phở’s meatlover and they gave me like 5 – 6 slices of meat and The broth is plan. Not to mention, the hoisin sauce tastes like it’d expired five yrs ago and the veggies were not fresh at all. Well, if a bowl of phở doesnt has meat and the broth is bad, i rather have instant ramen. No meat but at least the broth taste better. No next time. Thank you.

No star for these place. I found a hair in my soup. The owner didn’t like it I said something about finding a hair in my food. So for that I’m not welcome and I’m ok with that today is the last day. All I have to say is look closely at your food to make sure you don’t see any hair. He will still make you pay for your meal even tho you found hair. Good luck people

Cheap, good food, wontons were extremely small though! I would recommend the crab rangoons and the meat lovers phở!

When I crave vermicelli noodles and I do not want to drive longer than five minutes, I usually go to V Bistro. Phở was average – I prefer my phở to be extra brothy with lots of meat and soul in it. Prices had a slight premium compared to regular Phở restaurants. If you are choosing between driving to Bellaire or eating somewhere close, I would go to Bellaire and get the real deal. However, if you are having a lazy day and this place happens to be a choice, it isn’t terrible, just not great. Service is ok, not stellar, but just decent. Here, I’ve ordered their Phở, Vermicelli, and Thai tea. Overall, my recommendation goes to their vermicelli noodles.

My son and I stopped by to grab a quick bite. I ordered vermicelli and pork and eggroll and my son ordered wonton soup as he wasn’t very hungry. My order turned out correct and it was ok. However, the wonton soup came with 3 wontons when the menu said 5. I called the waitress over and brought it to her attention. She said they were going to bring more. 10 mins later, another waitress brought 2 wontons and the wonton skins had white patches that didn’t look cooked. I waved for the waitress over and pointed it out to her. She immediately gave me an attitude and argued that they were cooked. I pointed out the white patches and she said«Do you not want them?» I said«I am not trying to be difficult here, but no, I won’t have my son eat something that’s not cooked well» She took the bowl away and did not come by again. I’m extremely amazed how poorly this restaurant handled their mistake and customer service. They did not give a damn about customer satisfaction or basic customer service. They charged me for the wonton soup however, they have lost my family and I as customers for life.

Staff are not customer focused. Asian customers sit down — they get chopsticks. NonAsian customers sit down — they get a fork… and lack of service that follows. Mediocrity seems to be ok. I have been here about 5 times. Each time there was something that either wasn’t working or that some excuse was made. Not the stress-free experience I am looking for when I dine out.

The food is average… They slice the chicken and pork into thin pieces… Which I don’t really like… It’s not great and it’s not awful … I may come back to try something else. I wouldn’t recommend the egg rolls

Craved pHo and thought I would give this place a try. Came here with a empty stomach ready to devour my pHo. Ordered my favorite pHo tai chin. First of all I asked for steam bean sprouts and they brought it out raw. Sigh! That’s 1 strike Received my phở looked good except only a few pieces of meat. The broth was OK strike 2 Asked for sate and they said it’s 25¢, so I asked for one and literally cane out with a small To go sauce cup with a smidgen of sate. It wasn’t enough to even satisfy my taste buds. And strike 3 this place Sucks I would definitely not recommend this place

Convenient location for me. A cheap and decent place that offers a variety of Vietnamese food. It’s not like bellaire, but it’s do-able. Broth of the phở is ok. Shaking beef was pretty good, not a bit chewy and cooked perfectly in my opinion. Fried rice was not exactly fried rice when substituted on my entrée(It was white rice mixed with carrots and peas). however, wouldn’t mind having lunch here again

I came here with a phở craving and stopped by because it was the closest phở place. My mother and I would say this place is one of the cleanest phở place we have been to. We ordered the seafood phở, build your own phở, egg roll, and spring roll. Egg roll(4⁄5): Served hot and crispy. You can wrap the eggroll in lettuce with small carrot slices. I would say the egg rolls were better than the spring rolls. So opt for the egg rolls over the spring rolls! Spring roll(2⁄5): Nothing special. I was expecting nice soft spring rolls stuffed with lettuce, noodles, and etc. They are skinny and they weren’t soft. As if they made super early In the morning and never got served til lunch. I was immediately disappointed when I took my first bite. Build your own phở(4⁄5): Mother enjoyed her phở and liked the bowls the phở was served in. However, they don’t give you a lot of meat. Meat lovers may be disappointed in the aspect of not having a lot of meat. Seafood phở(4⁄5): I enjoyed my seafood phở but I definitely had better. I give them credit for having an non-oily broth. I liked how they gave me a lot of fish cake. So good! Overall, I would return to try other items on their menu if I’m in the area.

I came here with a co-worker after driving around from running an errand for her and stopped upon this restaurant. I haven’t eaten Vietnamese food in a while, so I really wanted to try it. Walking in, it was very humid as if they had AC problems, but I was so hungry that I didn’t mind it too much. They do have a good variety of different things like your typical Vietnamese restaurant has from the traditional phở to non traditional things like Bistro Shrimp Quiches. I knew right off the bat I wanted a banh mi, so I got the banh mi thit nuong(grilled pork) and an order of spring rolls. The spring rolls came in an order of two with the peanut sauce for dipping. I like to put the sriracha sauce in the dip for spice. The spring rolls were skinnier than I’m used to, but I chowed them down like no tomorrow(I was starving like an Ethiopian kid!) The banh mi came out, there was a lot of grilled pork in mine along with the traditional fixins: cucumber, pickled carrots, and cilantro. I also put lots of sriracha sauce in mine. I picked up the banh mi and to my surprise the bread was a lot softer than what I’m used to from other restaurants and it was still warm. I almost just wanted to join the pork and fall asleep inside the soft warm bready goodness. mmm. Overall, it fulfilled my craving and most importantly it was cheap! My co-worker got an order of the lettuce wraps with an order of the egg rolls. Both of our food altogether was about $ 15. That’s amazing if you ask me. Although it’s out of the way, and I can stumble upon many other Vietnamese restaurants in town. I do like the location that it’s not in a china town madness with crazy traffic or road work.

Saw this on weibo and they said it was good. I tried it last night after shopping at 99 ranch. Had to say that I was disappointed because I had high expectation. Anyway there was nothing wrong with the food. It was actually ok but nothing stood out. My husband and I both had phở. I had the hot and spicy beef noodles and he had the build your own(but they gave him a meat lover instead). The broth was fine. The ingredients were not super fresh just ok. The price was fairly cheap and can’t complain about it. Overall it was just ok and nothing there will really draw us back.
