Won’t knock it too much. The staff seems okay enough. The real trouble is with the ambiance, maybe it’s due to the locale? The usual crowd seems to be on the rowdy side and not in a good way. Think more along the lines of drug dealer/partially homeless refuge.

I don’t think I’ve ever been to a Starbucks like this before. I was in the area and dropped by for a Frappuccino and a place to work on my laptop. The staff wasn’t rude with me but they weren’t the nicest either. It wasn’t the type of service I’m used to receiving at the Starbucks I’ve gone to before. I heard them getting rude with other customers and told someone in the drive-thru that«No, I don’t have your order. I told you to hold on». They also had a lot of personal conversations with each other and were not professional. They also didn’t make my drink and I had to let them know that I was still waiting on it. Maybe someone walked off with it. Not sure but still. Not a good experience. They didn’t ask for my name like other locations do which may have helped alleviate the issue so they could have called my name when they made my drink. As far as the caramel frap and almond croissant that I ordered, it tasted the same as it does when I order it at other locations. So no issue with the food or drinks ordered here. The location was really busy and it is very… culturally diverse.

Very average experience, not the best run or clean Starbucks I have been to. Tried to get in and get out fast. Not your typical Starbucks experience

This Starbucks location is not the best nor the worse I have been too. Because of the location, it can get very busy. Every time I come to this location, service has been very slow… And I normally do not get fancy lattes or anything, I just get plain coffee. But just getting to the register sometimes takes longer than it should.

Horrible !! Very slow and incompetent staff. They always seem to «run out«of a certain ingredient and never seem to have the breakfast food available. Staff always get mix up in peoples orders.

This place is a mess. The employees are rude and loud. They frequently mess up orders and have the nerve to get upset when they have to redo it. Also, it smells like body odor(the bad type). I only go here when I need coffee and its the closest. For as much as you charge for drinks, do better Starbucks!

I can almost deal with how dirty this place is, or the fact that the parking lot is a battlefield, but it’s the employees that really put it over the top. Just horrible. I hate inconveniencing these people with my money.

The inconvenience of this Starbucks is straight up messed up. The location is so bad that I almost got in a wreck becuase of the tight space in the parking lot. The drive thru is terrible. The employee who took my order was rude and did not even show any courtesy. Don’t ever want to go back.

It helps if you let a customer actually place their order how they would like it and not cut them off after everything they say. I keep coming here because it’s close but more often than not my drink is made wrong and I have to go back(like now)

How is this place still open!!! This has got to be the worst Starbucks in the entire world!!! Slow service wrong orders and don’t even try to pull up into that death trap of a drive thru!!!

I would give this Starbucks location 0 stars if I could. The great customer service received at any other Starbucks location is not translated here. When you get through the mass of random people sitting out front, you have to stand there and wait at the register because no one is manning it. I will drive to a further Starbucks location to avoid this one in the future.

I’m a frequent patron of Starbucks around the U.S., but this is the first time I’ve ever given ANY retailer less than four stars. Take a look at the short pour of my drink. When I pointed it out to her she said it was just ice she left out, and that I wouldn’t get more coffee. But it was already full of ice so I disagreed but didn’t feel like I could take it any further with her, especially after waiting in the drive-through for 15 minutes. There wasn’t a long line as it was 2:30pm on a weekday, but it’s a ridiculously tight drive-through space that blocks parked cars and they were really slow. When she saw me snapping this pick of my drink — with straw still wrapped to prove I hadn’t sipped any yet — she stopped from handing me my receipt and wadded it up to throw it away instead. I rolled my eyes and simply drove away, not wanting to get adversarial and ruin my afternoon. I mentally just made a note to not go back to that location. That was frustrating enough, but then I discovered that my «no classic»(aka sugar free) blond doubleshot with six Splendas HAD sugar AND Splenda in it. I’m beyond annoyed, hence my first really bad review of a place. Hopefully, it’s my last.

Although I’ve only been in here couple of times, the whole place seems so congested. The servers always look overwhelmed and the customers have to wait a lot longer to get their order. Considering this place is located on one of the busiest intersections in Houston(Hillcroft and southwest fwy) it’s not a great place to buy your coffee and sit around with a friend. Everybody seems to want to buy their items and get out of there. Now as far as your order is received, it’s not bad at all. You do get what you order and they make it right the first time(unlike some other Starbucks where they have mixed the orders up). Overall it’s a shithole but if you want quickly pick up your order — this is the place to go.

This place is a mess. First off, the place is not clean. Second, despite being well staffed, service is slow and disorganized. People are constantly yelling from one end of the counter to the other and people are trooping over themselves there are so many people behind the counter. Third, the staff just isn’t very friendly. I love my coffee, but I will not come back to this location.

Starbucks being the leader in the industry as well as known for their well trained, well versed baristas SHOULD be getting 5 stars Except that this location is in a very bad neighborhood with high crime. I feel for the baristas working there. I am sure they have seen their share working here. I never get off and will only use the drive thru. Even then I am constantly checking door locks and rolling up window.

No seating, which is made worse by the fact that they allow groups of sketchy people sit out front and smoke, and take all of the chairs.(not customers, I didn’t see a SINGLE cup on the tables.) The line was long, the employees were fighting with each other. Ordered a cup of water with my drink, because, well, it’s coffee, you get dehydrated. It’s a pretty simple request. The girl at the register didn’t say a word about it to the guy making the orders. I even apologized for ordering it, knowing they were busy. When I get my coffee 10 minutes later.(Black, iced. Easy.) No water. So I ask the barista, and he rolls his eyes. Oh, and someone got arrested in the parking lot, off of the front patio. The baristas were like«Oh no! Not my buddy.» You’re losing customers letting these guys hang here without buying anything/taking tables and generally harassing customers.(I went outside for a smoke, and they wouldn’t leave me be.) It feels genuinely unsafe here. Not a good environment. Not comfy. They don’t clean during shifts. Which I mean, I get during a rush. But when all of your tables are full outside, and you have all of, I dunno four? inside. Clean them. Seriously. I don’t dig on corporate coffee anyway, but jeez, this is the worst Starbucks I’ve ever dealt with. Played She & Him’s Christmas album, though? Cool? I guess. Update: There is one really nice kid who actually works there. He came and sat next to me on his break. I feel for him.
