12 minute wait if I want mild chicken. No way to get out of the drive thru line. How do you not have Mac and cheese. Once I placed my order and pulled forward I noticed that the guy two cars ahead of me did want to wait 12 minutes so that means we all wait 12 minutes yet I don’t get my mild chicken. That’s for management and poor building design. The french fry I ate out of the bag was pretty good so one star. Thanks for getting that right Popeyes!

Love Popeyes but hate hate hate this location. Always manage to get something or the other wrong, and never ask if you want any extras such as ketchup or hot sauce. I would much rather travel the extra mile and save yourself the trouble.

Popeyes is one of my favorite places to lunch at. This location is fast and they always give great service.

Visiting from out of town and came across this Popeyes. The woman at the drive thru was incredibly nice. Our order was correct and the bag included everything we asked for. Napkins, honey, BBQ sauce, etc. two thumbs up!!!

I really prefer the taste of Popeyes chicken. But other than that they really disappoint. The new menus are possibly designed to be confusing as I can’t see any other reason for making the change. I went in to get a family meal of 8 pieces of chicken. Chicken only was 9.99. Add one large side and 4 biscuits and the price is 18.99??? Let’s see… A large side is 3.99 and an order of 6 biscuits is 2.99. Hmmm, if I buy a la carte it’s 17.00 vs 19.00 and I get 2 more biscuits. The poor youngster behind the counter was so embarrassed when I pointed it out that I could tell she knew the score. Buyer beware.

Ignorant employees… If we didn’t check the order each time we would be with out. This is the third time the employees haven’t given us what we ordered and payed for. All of the chicken we ordered spicy, not a piece in our box was seasoned. The lid was not properly attached to our mash with gravy so of corse it was all over everything! Our dogs gladly took care of their mess:) I will be contacting corporate headquarters tomorrow and letting them know a KFC is located directly across memorial from this Popeyes location. I will only purchase my red beans and rice from this location since it’s the only thing they can make correctly.

Love that chicken from Popeyes! Yes, I do love Popeyes. I’m not exactly sure why. .. I think it’s the bubbly red and orange font in their Logo that always perks me up when I see it! Kinda weird… We had been craving Popeyes for months and have just been too busy trying new and way hipper restaurants when we are not cooking at home! Josh brought us some spicy chicken, cajun fries and CAJUNSPARKLE from our neighnorhood location. ummm. .. I need to say that we were not very happy with them. We had ordered the large dirty rice as well and it was not in our bag :(but on our receipt! I would’ve sent him back but the Texans game had just started and I was not going to be that girl! But we did call them several times and got a busy signal! Grrrrr. We did enjoy the chicken. And the fries were good. darn rice. darn Texans too. Hopefully our next experience with Popeyes will be better!

went earlier this week & i really didn’t expect much other than to just get some chicken & only that. well the service sucked because there were some h.s. kids working the drive thru. i go to the drive through & order the special which was only chicken. i was greeted with a very«bored» sounding employee & asked if they had a special on chicken. his response was huh?. no excuse me, no could you repeat that? no other proper reply. i looked at my wife & she knew what i was about to do which was put the car in reverse and go to kfc across the street. i bit my tongue and repeated what i said & placed the order. despite the service the food was great. i am very tolerable when it comes to service because the food is more important than service though they should be equal.

I buy all my liquor at Spec’s And love Ninfa’s sizzling Tex-Mex, But red beans and rice At Popeye’s low price Beats lots of gratuitous… tips. [I had to keep this PG or cleaner. This is a reputable review site, after all] I’ve always wanted to write a review in verse. Popeye’s is the perfect establishment and a Limerick is the perfect format for this approach since the theme song to the classic Popeye cartoon is set to a Limerick. You can sing the Limerick above to the Popeye tune(go ahead and try). Back to the review… The sheer number of fried chicken establishments in Houston is one of the reasons that this city consistently claims the distinction of being one of the fattest in America. All of ‘em serve up essentially the same«fowl» helping of fried death on a platter. But Popeye’s has one saving grace: its flaky, buttery biscuits and creamy red beans and rice. They are beyond delicious and I find myself craving these side dishes at the oddest times. I suggest that you save some money and add a few years to your life by skipping the fried stuff the next time you get in that drive-thru line. The line at this particular Popeye’s always seems to move fast to boot…
