This Murphy’s has closed, they were flooded out in the Memorial Day rains and looks like it won’t be re-opening. All of the furniture, cooking equipment is gone now. Shame the owner was very nice, but the overly high prices and the poor quality of the food was not a good fit for the building, it wasn’t isolated to this Murphy’s deli either they all have mediocre food and extremely high prices compared to other places, when I can eat better for for the same price elsewhere it begs the question why bother? But I do wish the former owner well, she was a really nice lady. If you simply must go to Murphy’s get the muffaletta, yeah they’ll nuke the meat and cheese but the olive spread is the business.

Varsha, The Owner she prepares the salads in the back room she doesn’t wear gloves. Then she uses a spoon the and do a double dipping after putting if her mouth. Very disappointed! Employee don’t speak English difficult to communicate. Is one of the worst franchise in Houston.
