David Yurman

I had a DY watch and the clasp broke and the watch mechanism was damaged. I took it in for repairs and it was sent out for several months. When I received it back the clasp was still broken. When I took it back again, Jonathan was very helpful and got the Corporate office to replace the watch with a brand new one even though mine was several years old! I was very pleased.

Came in to purchase a pair of studs and get a ring cleaned. Yes the sales associates were helping two couples and I knew I had to wait, I didn’t mind. But never have I been told to wait so unprofessional and rude by an associate before. I was never acknowledged, never greeted and waited patiently to be acknowledged for over 20mins. Associates like them give Luxury retail associates a bad name. Very disappointed in the David Yurman at the Galleria. Never again stepping foot or purchasing from this location again.

I came into this store the other day with 2 very old gift cards my grandmother had bought for me for a graduation gift from college. One of the gift cards did not work and showed no money on it.
Renzo, the salesman who helped me, went above and beyond in trying to research what happened to the card. He found the transaction made awhile back but could not tie it to the card, he then offered to send it to corporate for further investigation, and in the meantime, helped me pick out a new cable bracelet for when the gift card situation got figured out. He told me he would get back to me today and promptly called as soon as corporate found the problem and the money was restored onto my gift card.
I am very excited to go pick up my new bracelet tomorrow and very pleased with the excellent service I received! Renzo was such a great help and I will for sure be purchasing my next Yurman from this particular store as well!

Great customer service. Everything I expected, and more. Victor was very helpful with my purchase and after with the engraving. Absolutely superb.

The staff here is excellent– definitely a very professional, knowledgable and charismatic bunch. The jewelry itself is very high quality. If I ever have a daughter I will be passing my Yurman collection on to her.

I love David Yurman jewelry! I can definitely attest to the quality of their silver pieces, I wear my bracelets and rings every single day without fail, and they go through A LOT of abuse. They need cleaning and polishing every now and then, but I’ve never chipped a stone or lost a diamond.
I usually do not like shopping at boutiques due to poor service and snooty salespeople, but everyone here is actually very helpful. The salespeople here respect your budget and won’t make you feel bad for not having the money to splurge on that $ 10K gold bracelet. They have a lot more inventory than Neiman Marcus does, and even some limited edition pieces that are exclusive to the boutiques.
They are going to be remodeling soon, so I expect that the new store will look even swankier!

One of the premier designers in the world, David Yurman produces some beautiful work. He made his mark with his «cable» designs, but does so much more. This store is a lovely venue to peruse the house of Yurman’s work. I have always enjoyed coming in and having a look. I am, by no stretch of the imagination, a person who can just trot in and buy whatever catches my fancy, but I am a person who loves and appreciates jewelry. I like to look and talk about it with people who are as enthusiastic as I am. The Yurman folks are always welcoming and happy to chat about a piece and let me pet it for a little while. They are great at making anyone who wants to at least window shop feel just as important as the guy dropping $ 100k on an engagement ring. I appreciate that.

Came in to pick up a gift for a party. Came out with a timeless DY piece. The sales associate had a few ideas picked out from when I had called her earlier to arrange a pick up. She was very sweet, offered us complimentary waters and made us feel like the only people in the store.

I’m a girl (don’t let the name and the short hair fool you). And I love jewelery. I mean, a disturbing amount. Especially expensive jewelry. Unfortunately, liberal arts degrees don’t always reward you with the best paying jobs, so looking at nice jewelry has become my new hobby. And a great place to do this is at the David Yurman boutique in the Galleria. There are only a few in the US, so it is nice to see that we’re so spoiled here.
Their store is a decent size with many pieces in the windows well lit up for you to drool all over. When you go in, there’s even more. His signature pieces (the chunky squares of stones on a thick sterling rope) are everywhere. He is trying to build up his watch collection, but the there are only a few watches available in the store.
The greatest improvement to his line has been having his son design a men’s line. Although many of the pieces are a little too European (ummm, effeminate?) for most men, they do have some key pieces that are making this line really popular.
The lack of a star is due to how ridiculous they were about fixing some earrings I brought in. One of them clasped too tightly on my ear making them virtually unwearable. I took them to the store, they had to send it to headquarters to get them fixed and after a few weeks (and $ 75 later), they came back. I didn’t try them on at that moment since I was running late. Lo and behold, all they seemed to have done was clean them since one is still much too tight.
Regardless of this, I love that they’re expanding their line and are trying to stay mainstream – especially with the younger generation. Be aware though that customer service is great once you get help, but it is usually so busy in there that you’ll have a wait until someone can help you.
