Portions are a bit small but you gotta expect that from any food truck that serves stuff in a bowl. The main thing is the taste and quality which I found was pretty good. Kudos to them for keeping the quality control they have within a food truck kitchen. I found the taste was more my speed versus the other Ramen truck next to them.

Our last meal before leaving Oahu. The Mazesoba was flavorful and filling(comes with a small cup of rice as well). Broth is optional. The fact the meals are in real bowls is one thing. The fact that the staff brings the food to you is even cooler. Picnic benches are in the middle of this courtyard area. Five other trucks there, but only a similar ramen truck and a dessert truck(churros and drinks) were open. Business picked up after 7:30p and they had a line after we finished our meals. Spam Musubi could run out quick(we got the last two«made to order» pieces before they put up the«sold out» sign). Good find.

I was a bit skeptical at first but not bad for a bowl of ramen. This was my first time and it wasn’t legit Japanese ramen with fresh ingredients but it wasn’t bad or very good. $ 10 for ‘Beefy Lite’ included half of a soft-boiled egg, a thick slice of Char Siu/Beef, well marinated bamboo shoots, green onions, and don’t forget the ramen.

Went back again and just as last time the ramen was delicious. Jenny T you must be confused cus Tsurumen doesn’t have a beefy lite option. That’s the kamitoku truck. If I’m not mistaken, Tsurumen soup tastes like chicken and not beef. I want to try the mazesoba next time!
