The $ 14.75 for half chicken plate. Cabbage had black specks on it. 2.5 lb chicken. I ate around the black specs on the cabbages. Must be expensive for them to rent the space. 26 minutes it took to get the order. Good for a tourist trap. The half chicken fit in third compartment of the 9inch clam shell styro and the lid closed. You get a free drink if you check in Unilocal.Must cost plenty for that propane t pasting the chickens. I am just cheap I guess.

I ordered samurai grill chicken rice. Tasty chicken and soft egg omelette on the red sauce fried rice.
Drawback:
1. Fried rice is a little warm nearly cold. Personally I prefer a just-​done hot plate food.
2. Proportion of food. 10% chicken, 20% egg omelet, less than 3% cabbage, onion and corn. Nearly 67% fried rice! Honestly, I felt too full.
3. A little pricy. The price of meal I order including tax is $ 14.5. If more chicken less rice, I may accept it.

I had a ninja roll with chicken and it was delicious. If i am back to honolulu, i will certainly try this again.
Place is clean and host was really cool. Lets pray to Hawaiian gods that i come back again soon.

I was starving and asked other the tenants in my building for an eats recommendations. They suggested one pricey restaurant or a nearby location with food trucks. I opted for the food trucks. «Samurai Grill» was the first food truck I saw. The guy inside the truck was so friendly and sold me. He mentioned that it was happy hour so all the food was 10% off. He also added that the chicken had just been cooked hot of the grill. I ordered the first thing that looked delicious and devoured it.

The samurai fried rice with chicken is amazing. For lunch, it was more food than I could handle. It comes with plenty of rice, rotisserie chicken, and a generous portion of fried egg. The gentlemen working the truck were great, and very friendly. Can’t wait to cone back and try to chicken samurai plate.

LOOOOVE THIS FOOD TRUCK!!!
This food truck has to be one of the best on the island! I really enjoyed the Ninja Roll from this truck! I had the beef and cheese and it had soo much flavor! The workers were also kind and easy to talk to, had lots of fun talking with the workers! Planning to come back to this food truck to finish all the items on the menu!

Great food and friendly service. We had the samurai plate lunch with chicken. The plate was great size, tasted great and well priced. Great spot to have an outdoor eat while in Waikiki. Way better than resort food!
